weight problem


Question Posted Thursday July 21 2005, 1:47 pm

You see.. i got back on weight watchers this week because my school's starting soon (too soon) and i want to slim down so I'm not the biggest girl in my class anymore. What are some fast pace exercises i can do (websites) or what are some tips. The weight watchers is working, slowly, but i want to speed up the process.

Try doing cardio: Jogging, swimming, running, or jump roping 30 minutes a day, 3-5 times a week. Cardio works your whole body and not just one specific area. You should see some positive results rather quickley.

Here are some of my ideas for you.
-Squats
-Sit ups (slowly do a little more everyday)
-Push ups
-Wall stretch (this is where you have your back against the wall and slowly slide down keeping your back straight and on the wall. make your thighs parrallel to the floor and hold it.
-Crunches
-Lunges
-Running
-Eat healthy (no desert except maybe nonfat ice cream every once in a while)
-lifting wieghts

My advice to you is just to eat a balanced diet and take plenty of exercise so that you get to your optimum size and wieght. Carry on with the weight watchers if it is working, but remember it does get harder as you keep dieting. Make sure that you don't go back to old habits and ALWAYS feel happy and confident and the people around you will too.

The best way to lose weight is just to get out and play a sport. Even if you aren't any good, it's still gonna burn calories. Go to the park and play tennis, go out to the driveway and play basketball (assuming you have a hoop), go for a run around the neighborhood, or get some friends together and play some backyard football. Woah.. I read what mkanaspiration said and some of those facts are true. But you can become sick because you are'nt eating. Thats just what he/she said! I mean 1 apple a day?? Noo not good at all! All you have to do to loose some weight is eat more fruit and veggies! Cut sweets. Eat a normal meal without as much fat && calories. Eat on a smaller plate with tons of designs because that will make you think you ate more on a smaller plate! Dont eat fried or baked things. Drink tons of watter! You are supposed to drink 8 cups a day so every hour drink one. Dont drink soda or juices unless its like diet snapple. That has 0 % sugar and calories and its healthy! If you are craving a snack dont take chocolate. Make yourself a fruit salad or a healthy smoothie. It will make you full and its yummy. You still have to exersise daily. Dont over due! Join a gym where they have instructors or personal trainers that can motivate you and keep you going! If you can't afford to join a gym make sure you find an exercise that you enjoy otherwise you're gonna find it hard to motivate yourself. ANY exercise is good but make sure you alternate for best result. For example go for fast walks one week and go swimming the next.

Weight Watchers is formulated for healthy weight loss so I wouldn't go over board with trying to speed up the process.

All over exercises such as aerobics and swimming will help tone your entire body instead of just focusing on one area.

Drinking LOTS of water and eating lots of water rich foods (cucumber, celery, tomato, fruits, etc) will help flush any water weight you may have as well as help your body burn fat more efficiently.

Adding some spicy foods to your diet will rev your metabolism so fat gets burned faster.

Try jogging in place or around your house for like 10 minutes, i know it doesn't sound like much but trust me it is. If thats too easy for you, add more time on to it or do some push up or situps to go along with it.
