advice
this is a question about losing weight and getting a better body. i know there are a lot of questions like this already, but mine is kind of different. I know what to eat and how to exercise, but my problem is I have NO WILLPOWER! i don't know why but whenever i see chocolate or chips or anything in front of me I literally cant not eat it! i don't know what to do, and it's hard to make myself go to the gym. Please help, i need tips for good food choices, like how to say no to myself and not eat something. I also need tips for how to stay active wihout it feeling like intense exercise. THANKS sooooo much
Fruits are a great source of food for dieting. Since its winter, Clementine Oranges are out, and they can make you feel full with less calories. Apples are great too.
The way to tell myslf not to eat, is by looking at myself in the mirror to see if im happy with my body. It always makes me not want to eat as much if i look fat. Also, I always know im goign to feel guilty after i eat a certain kind of food, so i try to imagine how guilty I would be and how much i would regret it after i eat it.
a graet exercize is when u get in push up position but instead use your elbows to hold yourself up instead of hands. Hold the position for 15 seconds. You will feel a lot on your abs and stomach, and all around. They HELP. they hurt a lot at the beginningbut you get used to it, which means you are building up more muscle. Also just try putting music on and free dancing. Also try sweating, cause fat is burned by sweating too.

Well I like this boy and we're going out hes 20 and im 16. (he just now turnt 20 on Dec, 12) but anyways my parents now my step dad and step mom knows to. they like him. but i'm worried about the age differnce. i really like this boy hes amazing hes such a sweetheart. he goes to chruch he dont cuss or drink or anything like that. is it such a bad thing that im dating him. we just started dating today. i personally dont think age difference amtters. As long as you are happy about it, and that u love him, i think its fine =] 20 and 16 arent that much of an age difference. If this is a 12 year old and a 16 year old, it would not really work.. but i think yall would be fine. If your parents liek him, and YOU like him, go for it!! Hope it helped =] good luck

okay, there's this guy and i really like him and a lot of people think that he likes me because he always hugs me and puts hisarms around me (in a nonpossessive way) and always comforts me when i'm down. but anyways. i don't have any classes with him and i have lunches with him everday but we don't sit at the same table or communicate that much. i mean like every other day he walks to class with me since my class is on the way to his. but anyways, he doesn't get on AIM alot so he basically never talks on there. winter break is starting soon and i can't imagine not talking to him for over 3 weeks! should i ask him for his phone number or something like that? and what are some things that i can do with him over winter break? like what can i do to hang out with him? i don't want to it be too forward or awkward so yeah.
yess you should defiantely ask for his number in a casual way. I'm in the same situation as you and im also planning to ask for his number when he actually gets online. =] some places you can go to is the movies, or amusement park or fun places in the beginning. Or maybe yall should hang out at a nearby starbucks or something like that. I personally think movies are great, you shouldnt start off asking him to just meet up with him. You should avoid awkward moments as much as possible at the beginning =] Movies would be great. Hope it helps! and i hope it works out right =]

Ok well..
Im a healthy person normally, just like any other teen, I eat lots of chocolate and junk food although I stay very thin.
But recently,
I havent been eating atall..It just doesnt cross my mind too eat,
Im sticking with about half my dinner a day.
And my sleeping pattern has gone totally wrong.
I used too go to bed at around 12-1 2 the latest,
Now im either not sleeping at all or im going to bed about 6am and waking up about 5pm.
This isnt like me...
Im scared Ill lose too much weight, I lose weight quite easily and im already underweight.
Any ideas as too why?
p.s Ive quit college an dont have a job, so life is an all day bore at home on the computer.
You should go see a doctor. But you should get 7 -8 hours of sleep each day, and sleeping at 6 a.m. and waking up at 5 p.m. isnt a good sleeping schedule. Also, eating is the main source to getting your energy so even ifyou dont feel like eating, you should at least get something in your mouth like a little snack or some fruits. An apple works, or clementines work well for me. Or maybe you shoul start a part time job, so you can make contact with people more often that might brighten up your day a little bit. =] Hope i helped. Get better =]
I'm 22/F.. I've always been thin, and a slow-eater. I have never been mindful of my weight or body image. I eat what I want, trying to have good nutrition, of course, but never skip on anything I might crave, like chocolate or ice cream.. I'm 5'6 and weigh about 117 (the last time I checked). This is considered normal for my body type, but i could afford to gain a few pounds. I know a lot of women want the opposite, but not me. Is there anyone who knows how I can gain a couple extra pounds/build more muscle while staying healthy? I do yoga fairly regularly and try to maintain a good diet, though it's sometimes difficult since I'm a student. Thanks!
its better to gain pounds with muscle than fat. you should maybe start running or do a few crunches and get some muscle. Push ups will get you muscle on your arms. I also recommend squats . 20 per day =]Muscle weighs more than fat so gaining a little more muscle is the same as gaining a lot of fat in your body. hope i helped! ohh i had the same problem . You should use Shiseido Pore Scrub, or Shiseido Pore Minimizer. They might not be the most cheapest thing but they WORK. You can get a free sample there. Shiseido is located in Macys, Dillards, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, or usually along that line. i used it this morning and all those buildups go away! Hope i helped

iveh eard of a few that have worked out, but a lot of them don't. It depends. If your old and mature enough i think it's fine. just make sure he/she's not a online freak or anything =] You can try but most of the one's ive heard have not worked out right. It's better to get to know people in real life. Maybe you should part time work at palces so you can get to know more guys =] hope i helped

my eye has been hurting for the last few days. Atfirst it felt like there was something in it, like an eyelash, but that feeling went away quickly. It's been red and it hurts to blink, everytime i do i feel a sudden headache on that side of my head. Also it's become swollen, so my eyelid is like twice the size as my other one! could i have popped a blood vessel, and what else could have caused it to feel like this? should i go to the doctor? and what can i do to make it feel better.

i think you have a sty , itsan infection that makes your eyelids all big. it should hurt some too =[ for stys you need to go to the doctor or get a special eyedrop for it to go away. they dont go away by themselves. Hope i Helped!
i really want to loose 15-20 pounds by beginning of march. it's hard around the holidays & everything but i really dont like the way my clothes look on me and i just feel so fat and i want to feel hot and feel good aout myself so can someone please give me tips to aide me in eating & exercise? Crunches+Running really work =] wow good job for making the commitment, i mean its christmas too. well i recommend starting with the amount of crunches you are able to do, and then make the amount more larger as time goes on. Start off with jogging for 3-5 min straight. and then aim higher.
as for eating, the best thing to eat during this cold season is Clementines (a type of orange where you peel). They realyl fill you up. they dont have too much calories and they fill you up. Also try to eat less at night than in the morning. Night when you go to sleep and all the stuff you ate will stick with you when you are sleeping cause you dont move. I try to eat all my sweets in the morning so i can get energy. Its also "OK" to eat some sweets in the morningbecause you will burn them up by the end of the day.
Also, instead of eating a lot of ice cream, eat a low fat ice cream, or go for a sorbet.
Think about it, one chocolate can be the same amount of calories as an apple.

you should leave himm. hes obviouslt a player. I think since you go to a different school, it's okay and that you won't know all the stuff that happens at his. youre gonna end up getting hurt. i think it's fine to be friends with him, but going too far might hurt your feelings. I want to get my backhandspring before I got into cheer. What are some tips. If I do it on a trampoline can I just do it? and not get hurt?
Well,on a trampoline, u can get the hang of the form for a backhandspring. But doing it on a trampoline and on the floor are two seperate things because you have to jump so much more.
Here are some tips for a bakchandspring on floor:
-dont swing your arms too much before you throw it
-when going back, keep your head in. dont throw throw your head back

I dont think hes telling the truth either. and even if he is telling the truth, it will still affect his body a lot. you SHOULD tell your parents or note them about it, because this is about saving your brother :] You should just tell your parents first to not tell your brother that you were the person who told your parents (if youre afraid that he might like get all angry) but its for his health and i think you should tell your parents! i use Diorshow :] it works. but Maybellyne also works good too. Diorshow does make your lashes look longer though, and its visible too! hope it helped.

hey im on cheerleading team and ill tell you what you need to know. First of all, you HAVE to act confident. thats a must. Smile all the time and for those days of tryouts, act like you are the best person on the world no matter what other people think. Judges look for confidence :] Also its better for you to know how to do jumps. Like a toe touch. you might want to start stretching outlike doing Lunges or Splits so you can get the flexibility to get your feet off the air. :] and cheerleading is also all about motions. Make sure all your motions are SHARP and TIGHT- No loose motions. and its better if u have some tumbling skills like roundoffs and backhandsprings!! but i dont think the tumbling skills will be that much of the points. If its really good shampoo, then trust it. But normal shampoos dont work that way. Commercials just say that for people to buy the product :]
