But recently,
I havent been eating atall..It just doesnt cross my mind too eat,
Im sticking with about half my dinner a day.
And my sleeping pattern has gone totally wrong.
I used too go to bed at around 12-1 2 the latest,
Now im either not sleeping at all or im going to bed about 6am and waking up about 5pm.
This isnt like me...
Im scared Ill lose too much weight, I lose weight quite easily and im already underweight.
Any ideas as too why?
p.s Ive quit college an dont have a job, so life is an all day bore at home on the computer.
HypnotizexMe answered Tuesday December 19 2006, 11:53 am: You should go see a doctor. But you should get 7 -8 hours of sleep each day, and sleeping at 6 a.m. and waking up at 5 p.m. isnt a good sleeping schedule. Also, eating is the main source to getting your energy so even ifyou dont feel like eating, you should at least get something in your mouth like a little snack or some fruits. An apple works, or clementines work well for me. Or maybe you shoul start a part time job, so you can make contact with people more often that might brighten up your day a little bit. =] Hope i helped. The fact that you're bored and 'sleeping your way around the clock' shows that you need to clear away whatever issues are keeping you from working or going to school so that you can start to take care of yourself again. That means getting plenty of exercise, social stimulation, and appropriate rest. It's so easy to fall into this cycle, but if you do not correct it, it will not allow you to move on in your life. The emotions may cause the eating and sleeping problems. The eating and sleeping problems cause more emotional issues. It's a feedback loop and it's going to take discipline and effort, and possibly medical help, to escape the destructive cycle.

Just make sure that this person will be unbiased in whatever is bothering you. Just make sure that you are staying healthy. Drink lots of water and eat fruits and veggies. I hope this helps.

Also, get into a regular sleep schedule, even if you have to lay in bed for hours before you sleep, you need a regular schedule. Don't sleep for more than 9 hours straight, either. Have a regular eating time, too, either 3 large meals or 6 small meals in the day, with no snacks and not too much sugar. If you have a lot of energy from sugar and dense foods, and don't burn it off with exercise, you won't be hungry and you won't be tired. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
