ok to make a long story short i sprain a joint (i guess is basically my ankle if it is tell me in yur answer) and the doctor put me on crutches and an aircast its doesnt hurt that bad to walk on it but im supposed to stay off it for a week (i get off this comming up wednesday) ive been walkin on it with the cast but not the crutches and everyone is telling me thats bad will it make it worst or what

a sprain is a stretched or twisted ligament the reason a doctor gave you a cast and crutches is to act as a support whilst the ligament heals the best thing to do is walk on it for a breif period of time and then keep off it to let it rest this will aid the ehaling procces and make it go quicker but if you keep putting pressure on it your body will replace the proper ligament tissue with scar tissue this tissue is not as strong as normal asnd will make ur ligament less useful

Ok so on Monday we had track practice. My coach said if your are not in four events for the meet (four is the limit) than you can go try long jump if you want. I was only in three events and wanted to be in four so i tried. I'd only done it a few times and still had trounle but i wanted to perfect it so i could do it in the meet. The first time i got like an estimated 13 feet. So i tried it again and landed on my ankle the wrong way one of my friends and i both heard it pop and my ankle was nearly twice the size of the other. I was bawling and needed hlp and track was over for me hat day The next day i tried to walk it off at school so i could go to the meet that was the following day and it didnt work to good so when i got home my mom took me to the E.R. They took my x-ray and the doctor said i have a broken capsule in my ankle where the fluid had came out and we thought it was swollen really bad. when we got the papers back it had also said i had a sprain joint i guess that is a more scientific way of saying i had i sprain ankle (please tell me in your answer if it is or not) but anyway they put me on an aircast and crutches for a week. Its been 3 days since the injury and its a little swollen and hurts just a little like on a scale of 1 to 10 its maybe lik a 3 but my uncle said that its still not healed completely and i can break it if i walk on it (the doctor also said this) but its hard to get around my house with the crutches but im not supposed to walk on it then again it doesnt hurt to what should i do and what are the affects if you know from previous injuries

right your joints are all made up of ligaments, a synovial membrane,synovial fluid and the cartalidge and the joint capsule, what you have done to your ankle is oppened the capsule allowing the synovial fluid to exit the capsule, this is what causes the swelling becuase the white blood cells break the synovial fluid down. a sprained ankle is a sprained ligament in the ankle so yes it is the same. a sprain is when you stretch tear or twist the ligament if you are in a cast it sounds like you have stretched the ligament, in further life you will have an increased risk of osceoarthiritis in the ankle becuase there will not be as much synovial fluid, i was of preventing this though is by takin cod liver oil everyday this will help your ankle and increase your overall flexibility, one more thing which could be a possible outcome is a weaker ligament which is quite common, another outcome could be a fiberous cyst could accour if the capsule does not heal right this is not fatal not harmful and will not effect you in any way apart from being a small lump under the skin, other then that the chances of you ankle healing are extremely good give it another week to heal and then start to walk on it but not for long and if it hurts alot dont do it, after 6 weeks if it still hurts more then 2/10 my advice is have it checked again becuase there could be further issues hope it all heals properly

We have Virgin Media tv, when we had SKY you could just press one of the coloured tv remote buttons to look what was on tv the next day.

I thought you could with Virgin Media too but i cant get it work. Is this option not available or is there something wrong with our remote or set up?

there will be a button on the remote saying home or guide click that then go to channels from that you can jus scroll and see up to 7 days in advance normally hope this helped


Well days ago my dad shut off the power to fix something. He shut off the power while the computer was on. After that I turned my computer on and everything was like messed up. I tried to fix my screen resolution, but the slider won't move! It's stuck on 800x600 or something. I the color was also really bad and I tried to fix it, but the only option is "low". The color is really ugly and I can't see stuff like pics on the computer correctly and I can't see the real color and it sucks. So how can I fix this??!! Thanks SO much!!! (link)
sounds to me like a graphics card problem or monitor.
depending on the monitor your using either a tft or a cathode monitor usually cathode monitors can get mixed up within the setting so make sure you have the proper monitor selected within resolutions also make sure you have selected the right graphics card incase you have an onboard graphics card. also your computor could be booting from safe mode within the bios when your turning on your computor next time tap f8 as many times as you can until the bios comes up and then click on the boot options click on start windows normally this will make sure its not botting from safe mode. hope i helped if this doesnt help my asvice is do a restore if that fails get your pc checked out.


15/f. I have acne almost always on my forehead mostly and my back. Sometimes I get it on my cheeks and my chin though(rare), is there any products that really work? My skin is naturally oily..I use the mosturizer clean and clear stuff and then the spot treatment after i clean my face with clean and clear daily face wash and then this avon stuff that reduces the oils..But my acne is still there! i had the same problem accept i had it everywhere go to your doctors and tell them about the issue they will prescribe you some anti biotics first a weak dosage for 3 months if this does not clear it up go back and they will prescribe you with a stronger dose im currently on oxytertaciline and i have the odd spot but other then that i have none the stuff is great and its free.... what more could you ask for lol


why cant i run java programs on safari browser, they work perfectly on fire fox and internet explorer. programs online like runescape and stuff (link)

Ok so I have 2 Xbox profiles on my 360, one mine and the other my bro's. I got the free month gold account for xbox live for my account so is there a way to do the same thing with my bro's profile so we don't have to use a guest profile when we go on Live? I tried doing the same process when I signed up for my account but it came out different when I tried with my bro's. Anyone know how to do it if possible? (link)
the free xbox live subscription is only valid for one profile so is any xbox live subscription. if your going to get xbox live on 2 profiles you need 2 subscriptions becuase they are different gamer tags

most diet pills do not work
most people actually have a negative effect on the diet pills becuase they think just becuase there eating them they can eat more and completely stop exercise. all diet pills do basically is just slightly speed up your metabolism. you shouldnt even take them to be honest there crap. you should just exercise more try skipping its great fun and burns off calories extremely fast. once you start exercising you will gain more muscle your matabolism will become higher and you will burn off calries. also if you are thinking of going on a diet try taking up the negative calorie diet. this is an amazing way to loose weight.


I just bought an (enet brand) web camera last week. I'm having problems trying to tune it to make it clearer... in the shop i bought it from they fixed this webcam to their computer and it was very clear.. I want to use my webcam with windows live messenger... so i tried to tuning the contrast,brightness and the other setting in the webcam setting option in the "tools" menu in the windows live messenger... I even tried turning the lense.. but its not helping me much...
Please help.. is there any software i should download to make my webcam clearer or something? if not can anyone please please please mail me their webcam settings on your windows live messenger(by taking the settings pic through the print screen button)? PLEASE HELP ME

the reason its probably like this is becuase the pixel ratio of your screen is different to the computer in the shop. if you have a high megapixel which produces an image of lets say 1600-1200 and your screen is set to 1024-768 then the ratio is different and the image will be distorted and blurred slightly. light in the room you are using will also be a factor. if you have a background light your webcam will see that other then you and you will be a black blurr if you put a light behind the webcam it will be alot more clearer. my advice also is you should put the setting back to normal and if all fails visit the logitech website and try some of the drivers there becuase you may have on of the old drivers.

funny enough this stage has just hit me. right well basically the wya it hit me for the rest of my life thing is that i want to achieve good goals in life and earn a decent paycheck but i realised that i have to wor for the qualifications basically i failed everything then realised this. this gave me a kick up the arse and tarted making me want to learn and plan my future etc.. you cant just wait for the teen to realise something has to show them. im 15 by the way i hope this helped.

keep your feet dry use athletes foot powder even if you dont have athletes foot use the stone thing every now and then it helps alot do not wear 2 pairs of socks and avoid wearing dirty and damp socks and wenever you can dont wear your socks its not a pretty sight but it works

Many people say they need to burn calories, carbs, and fat but how come it's in three categories but when you burn them it's still burning fat? Is it only one that's actually making you fat? My friend is fat and does EXTREME excercing for a year! Walking 3 km a day, and many excercises one hour a day and even eats healthy but she hasn't even gone skinny. Any advice for her? this is a question about losing weight and getting a better body. i know there are a lot of questions like this already, but mine is kind of different. I know what to eat and how to exercise, but my problem is I have NO WILLPOWER! i don't know why but whenever i see chocolate or chips or anything in front of me I literally cant not eat it! i don't know what to do, and it's hard to make myself go to the gym. Please help, i need tips for good food choices, like how to say no to myself and not eat something. I also need tips for how to stay active wihout it feeling like intense exercise. Ok well..
Im a healthy person normally, just like any other teen, I eat lots of chocolate and junk food although I stay very thin.
But recently,
I havent been eating atall..It just doesnt cross my mind too eat,
Im sticking with about half my dinner a day.
And my sleeping pattern has gone totally wrong.
I used too go to bed at around 12-1 2 the latest,
Now im either not sleeping at all or im going to bed about 6am and waking up about 5pm.
This isnt like me...
Im scared Ill lose too much weight, I lose weight quite easily and im already underweight.
Any ideas as too why?

you have decreased your activity there for you are not burnng off as many calories there for you dont need as much food. your sleeping pattern has changed because your digestive order has aswel. my advice is do some physical activity eat healthy foods and do like a 2km run an hour before you go to bed and stay of the sugar trust me youll get shatterd go to sleep your sleeping pattern will be bak on trak if you start exercising so will your eating pattern hope this helped m8 best of look
