TheAnnie answered Sunday May 4 2008, 12:05 pm: Well, obviously it has to be something seriousish for your doctor to give you a cast and cruthes. You should ask your doctor if it is sprained or what hapened to it because it's impossible to tell by you asking a question.
Another thing, please use your cruthes. They are there for a reason. They make sure that no pressure is put on your ankle and not wearing them could do further damage to it. (I knew a friend who did that, only with her knee. She didn't wear cruthes the next day and then the next week she hurt it again because it could not proparly heal.) So please, don't do further damage to your body. I know you want it to get better and the only way that will work is by you giving the ankle the best environment for it to heal (cast and crutches). So those people that are telling you it's bad are actually right. Don't be annoyed by them, listen to what they are saying.
Oh and the pain is still pain even if it is minimal. It won't get better and might even get more painful if you don't cooperate.
