i dont have the new AIM.. so i guess i have the old aim. so the timestamp goes up to 24 hours or i guess its called army time i think and i would like it to go to 12 hours.. so how do i get to do that? and the time on my computr only goes up to 12 hours so i dont think its the computers problem.. also i think that the font is kinda messed up on my AIM which i think the normal default is times new roman size 12 and now the defualt font for AIM is arial size 12 bold.. and im not talking about the font that i type with, im talking about the fonts that i see in peoples profiles and away messages that are supposed to be times new roman.. if you could help me with either one of these, then thank you very much and you'll deserve a 5! thanks
Timestamps are always in 24-hour time. There is no way to change it.
I believe that AIM's browser uses the same options as Internet explorer. You can change those settings by going to start, run:
inetcpl.cpl
Click "fonts", which should be on the first page, and change your settings.

I want to draw a few floor plans using a downloadable software. But i can't seem to find one that i can have permanently (not a free-trial software).
Does anyone know of any floor plan software that is downloadable via internet and that i can keep?

No, that was hypothetical. Humans did originate in Africa, but the woman they showed you was just an example of one of the first humans. Humans didn't start with just one person. It was a gradual change over hundreds of generations, from early primates to modern humans.
So at first there were single-celled organisms. Over many generations they turned into multi-celled organisms. These turned into fish. Fish turned into lizards. Lizards turned into rodents. Rodents turned into monkeys-like things(though not the same as today's monkeys). Monkeys turned into Apes(also different than today's apes). Apes turned into humans. Over the course of millions of generations and billions of years.
All life on earth is related to a single-celled organism, though not every organism is related to the same ones. All organisms are also related to either fish or phytoplankton.
If you followed our DNA, it would lead not only to early humans in Africa, but also to reptiles and fish. There is no definitive point where Humans began, and no one genetic mutation which defined us.

I have MediaCoder downloaded, so what exactly do I do to have it converted for my ipod? Is there a site that gives me specific directions. I already tried converting it but I got error message 8.

Let me rephrase;
Nikons require that the program be installed on the computer. That's how you get pictures from the computer to the camera. I already tried just copying pictures like I do with my other camera, but when I turn on the camera, the picture isn't there. What I'm asking for is a program that lets me take pictures from my computer and put it onto the Nikon Coolpix 2000. Preferably free.

I used AlphaGeek's tutorial on how to copy personal DVD's to iTunes. I have the converted movie in the correct format, but now I don't know how to import the movie file! I tried dragging it from my Movies folder. That didn't work. I tried importing, it didn't work either. Please help me out.
I might not be understanding your question correctly.
If it won't import onto itunes, then it's not in the correct format. Try using mediacoder to convert it into something else:

I recently [purchased] Nikon Coolpix 2000 software from helpdrivers.com. I extracted the files, and I tried opening the instruction file, but it says that the graphic conversion filter isn't working properly and now I can't open it. I'm stuck. There are two files, one is the instruction file, and the other is the 'Drivers' folder. Well, I opened the drivers folder, and there are a few folders. I've downloaded all of the 'setup' files, and it says to connect my camera to the computer. Now what? Isn't it supposed to be like an actual program? [I can't find it in my Programs list]. I hope I didn't pay $6 for nothing. I tried looking for free software, but it came up short.
No, drivers rarely have Graphical interfaces like normal programs. They allow hardware to work with the computer. Previously if you plugged in your camera, nothing would happen. Now with the drivers installed, you can access the pictures in it by going to "My computer". It should be there as "removable storage(E:)", possibly with a different letter.

Mostly fiction, but based on fact. Some of the very major plot details were true. That's true of both the Da Vinci Code and the Bible. Jesus did not have descendants, but he did have some siblings, born after him.

I'm going to my friend's grandma's funeral and it's the first one I ever went and I have no idea what's going to happen, what it's about, and not really sure what it is except that it's something that happens after someone dies.
P.S, do you HAVE to wear black? Not to be disrespectful or anything but this is just how i see it: "If I died, I'd like everyone to wear colourful clothes, to kinda celebrate that i moved to heavon in the afterlife"

I recently went to my grandmother's funeral. For 45 minutes we stood around the body, and people talked among themselves. Then there was a 30-minute church service. Then everyone drove to the graveyard, and there was a 10-minute ceremony there. Everyone dispersed, and some went back to the church for lunch.
I didn't notice anyone wearing more black than usual. It would probably be best to ask your friend, though.
It was mostly just boring; similar to a normal church service.
You may want to bring some tissues for your friend and others. I noticed a lot of people were crying at the funeral.

No. There is absolutely no danger from any kind of electronics. Salt substitute is made of potassium, which is slightly radioactive, but much more radioactive than electronics. And you don't see anyone dying of salt substitute, and they *eat* that.
Radio waves used in WiFi isn't dangerous either. It causes some mild heating of your body, similar to putting your hand in a microwave. The heating is harmless, and it will never get dangerously hot.

Hi! I have a question my friend installed virtual pc for me and I am trying to use ubuntu 7.10 on a small screen it works ok but i can't get it to change screen size. I would ask him but he gets tired of trying to help. its set at like 1024 and 768 or something bigger. i tried to set and want it at 640-480 but it wont work. I loggin and i log back out i tried in the os and in the virtual pc and nothing works ever. PLEASE HELP! THANK YOU!
Go to the terminal and run this command:
sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Hopefully the text file that opens is self-explanatory. I've never edited xorg.conf before, so if it's not self-explanatory I don't know what to do.
After you reboot the xorg.conf changes should take effect.

No. Hardly anyone wants to read books on the computer. It causes intense eye strain. Because it's not popular, no one bothers to scan an entire book so that a handful of people can read it. I suggest visiting your library.

I've been doing links (and img and embeds) without them all these years, and have yet to have a problem... Well once when I needed to add extra options. Other than that, is it that important?
Most browsers will render it properly if you don't, but it's best to include them for the small number of people who use very old browsers. Also, you must include them if there is a space in the thing you put ""s around. , for example will not work the way you want it to, and will behave unexpectedly. Also, be careful to include both ""s if you use them, just one will seriously mess things up.
