Question Posted Wednesday January 2 2008, 12:27 pm
I recently [purchased] Nikon Coolpix 2000 software from helpdrivers.com. I extracted the files, and I tried opening the instruction file, but it says that the graphic conversion filter isn't working properly and now I can't open it. I'm stuck. There are two files, one is the instruction file, and the other is the 'Drivers' folder. Well, I opened the drivers folder, and there are a few folders. I've downloaded all of the 'setup' files, and it says to connect my camera to the computer. Now what? Isn't it supposed to be like an actual program? [I can't find it in my Programs list]. I hope I didn't pay $6 for nothing. I tried looking for free software, but it came up short.

They allow hardware to work with the computer. Previously if you plugged in your camera, nothing would happen. Now with the drivers installed, you can access the pictures in it by going to "My computer". It should be there as "removable storage(E:)", possibly with a different letter.
