if you consider yourself a "slut" ..yes you probably will get made fun of because thats how high school works. it will become your reputation.
waht to know about becoming a freshman:
-this is the year you make your repuation..try and start off with a new start..you dont have to be known as a slut
-be friendly..keep an open mind..meeting new people is good
-its not a huge deal! really its only a grade higher..its the new school thats a big deal..watch where your going in the halls. upperclassman get very annoyed when freshman are running around not knowing where they are going

Okay, I've been suffering by myself with the effects of what I belive to be depression, or some pretty dang extreme teenage hormones. Tonite, I decided that I wanted to get help, because I'm scared of what might happen if I didn't. I told my best friend about it, and I was just met with blank stares and awkward silences. So I walked back home, with barely a word exchanged between us, and a few minutes later she called me. All she said was please calm down, and then another empty blank silence before I finally said that I'd talk to her tomorrow. I'm unsure of where to go next, and I'm beginning to think its a mistake I ever said anything. Should I be angry at my friend for not really saying anything, and looking at me like I was some sort of freak?

No, dont be mad at your friend. was she much help? no not at all but thats ok. there are other people you can turn to for help..your parents or a family relative will be able to get you the help and support you need. your absolutely right about wanting to get help..pat yourself on thee back because realizing you need some help and support is the 1st step to getting through depression!

I wouldnt let parents get in the way of a good relationship. You two can find ways around her, so dont give up a great relationship just because the mom cant accept it. Maybe have your bf try one last time to try and knock some sense into her..tell her that your both happy etc. if that doesnt work who cares what she thinks..! keep going out dont let anyone get in your way

okay, so me and my ex split a couple of days ago. it was over MSN - which was a shame but there was legit reasons for it - anyway. Well I'm deff NOT getting with him again - and I'm even too mad at him for not bothering to contact me - and allt he reasons we split for bothered to even be his friend right now... well... I cancelled all their invites - but do you think I should tell them it's okay to come or did I do the right thing? They were all upset and wanted to come...

I have these friends of mine. They were my best friends. Even though we go to different schools, I still spend lots of time with them. I really loved them, no matter what happened between us. Some people said that I was so stupid that I trusted them so bad that I have never thought bad things about them.
Few days ago, one of my friends came to me and told me that all of my friends were talking bad things about me. I did not trust him, of course, cause I believed that my friends would not do such a thing to me.
Then, when I checked my e-mail, I found a message for me. It was all bad things about me. It was from my friends. I was so shock that I spend my time crying with my boyfriend. My boyfriend, which was my closest best friend too, told me that even though my friends hated me, he would stay with me. But actually, his words did not calm me down. I still worried about my friends. I did not hate them, and I would never do, but I could not forget what they said about me. Now, I'm avoided and hated by my friends. Ive noticed especially in middle school there is this kind of stuff.By the time you get into high school ..like 9th and 10th grade..you see who your true friends are. These girls are really shallow and its for the best that you found out how shallow they are now..this way you can leave them behind and find true friends.

if you talk on AIM and he has a buddyprofile and when you read it it has like "Yeahh Monticello high school football is gona be awesome this year!!" and he has people signing his guestbook like "hey (his name) your awesome remember that time we went crazy in math class last year? " and if he has shoutouts to his friends talking about school..sweet 16's..etc its safe to trust hes an actual teenager..although i can see the sickest pervert 50 year old going through all the trouble of making a buddyprofile and stuff up

another good sign is if he has a myspace and all his friends are teenagers from his school..its safe to trust that yes he is in fact an actual 16 year old (or whatever) because he has all these friends from his school on his myspace

if your in a chatroom with his friends..look at their profiles also. if they have stuff like what i described to look for in this guys info, then thats a good sign
