My best friend is an atheist. I am a Christian. I've asked my youth minister how to help convert him. Every time we get on the subject, he says CAN WE TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE? And won't even hear what I have to say. Most of you might say "Just accept it." But because of my religion, when I'm in Heaven for all eternity and my best friend is in Hell, Its going to really suck. I need someway to talk to him without him refusing. I know all I can do is try to convert him, but I'm really being eaten away by this. He said he was saved when he was little, and I know if you're saved, you go to Heaven, but this is like UGH. If he's saved, and has changed his mind, how does that work? Also, I think he changed his mind because of "certain influences" at school. So how do I kindly put my point of view of Christianity to him, without offending him or causing him to hate me? (link)

but just accepting it is really the best thing you can do. religion is a personal thing, it shouldnt be something you force on other people. how would you feel if your friend was constantly trying to convert you to atheism? or, if other friends you have were always trying to convert you to their religion? do you like it when jehovas witnesses knock on your door? just let it be, and if you are still friends when you are both 80 and close to death, worry about it then

So I want to put a DIV on my Myspace, but the problem is that it has a "View All Friends" link and I don't want that because i dont want people to see all of my friends. So, is there a way to hide that in a DIV? If not, could someone find me a cute DIV that doesnt have that link?

theres no way to hide your friends list. even if you do find a DIV to do it, because all a person would have to do, is copy your userid number into a view all friends window of someone else. but if no one on your list is smart enough to do that, here is a site that has a bunch of myspace codes, including one to hide your friends list.

you could always just take the link out of the code you have manually. just search for "View all friends" and then delete the around it (there wont be any stars, i just put those so it would show up)

basically, i'm not aloud to date yet. i have an amazing girlfriend who is juat amazing! i hate that i'm not aloud to date because i can't treat her like my girlfriend or tell people shes my girlfriend because of the supid rule. she's amazing and i know that she doesn't deserve to be treeded like this. i love her very much but i hate putting her through this. what should i do? my last girlfriend wasnt allowed to date. me. she wasnt allowed to see me, at all. we had to sneak around to do the most innocent things, like study together. she ended up breaking up with me because I couldnt handle. How does this apply to you? Well, what I am saying esentially is, you are more likely to be the one who can't deal with it than she is. Thats how it usually ends up. She is with you, which means she has made her decision to deal with this obstacle. So, you really don't have TOO much to worry about. Just treat her right when you can.

well, ive always seen love as an ubrella term. i think the words we have can not trully and completely discuss the wide array of human emotions, that doesnt just apply to love.
love is wider. you can love your parents, and you can love the one you are with, then split up, and be ok later. the feeling is strong, but it can change at the drop of a hat.
being in love is more consuming. it gets harder to concetrate on anything else, and if that person leaves, its like losing a part of yourself.

for the same reason that in movies, people have sex for hours on end, and in a broader sense, for the same reason that people can drive cards at 200 miles an hour, aliens come from outer space and protect the earth, getting bitten by a geneticaly enhanced spider gives you superpowers, computers dont error, even people without jobs can have nice appartments, guns never run out of ammo, etc.
because movies are fake.

well, firefox is completely safe to download. but their method doesnt show private profiles. it does however let you see a hidden friends list.

depending on how old you are, and your parents view on the subject, you can tell your parents that if they like him so much, youll just go have sex with him. my parents used to bring up my ex all the time, it didnt last too long. you can always try asking your mom to tell you about one of her exes.

the morning after pill is something a woman can take after having unprotected sex, to help prevent pregnancy. it is most effective up to 3 days, but can still work up to 5.
as for the vinegar, i have no idea.

I am taking the SAT tomorrow and I was curious as to what I should do. I haven't really studied seeing as how I am only is 7 grade and I am only taking because i received high enough test scores. Anyway i was wondering if it would be better for me to pick a letter such as A, B, C and stick to it for every answer i do not know or if i should leave the answer blank. I heard if you answer it and get it wrong you loose points but if you leave it blank it doesn't affect you. I this true? Also feel free to give me any other advice, it is greatly appreciated. yes its true, you lose 1/4 of a point per wrong answer. what this does is this. say you dont know the answer to 5 questions, and guess on each one. you will statistically get 1 right and 4 wrong. so your net score will be 0. thats what it is for. basically, i recomend this. If you have no idea whatsoever what the answer is, then leave it blank. if you can eliminate even one of the choices, its worthwhile to guess.

I’ve been brought up by a religious family. This October, I had this epiphany where I realized that I don’t believe in god.
Now, I’m a little obsessed with death. Not my own death, but the death of people I love. I function normally but when I think about someone close to me dying, I get really depressed because I realize that once they’ll die, I’ll –never- see them again.
It’s come to the point that every day, I think about death at least once and every time I hug my mother (who I love more than anyone in the world), I feel so scared because I know that at some point she’ll die and I won’t ever be able to look at her again. I keep trying to add up how old she is and compare it to the average life expectancy and count how many years she has left and I keep hoping I’ll die before her. It isn’t just her either, I’m really afraid of my sister dying or my close friends dying too.
At first, I thought it was a phase and that I would come to accept it but it’s been four months and it doesn’t seem to be going away. I also a little OCDesque, I’m obsessed with germs and I rinse a lot. Do you think I should go to counseling or will it fade? I don’t know how I’m ever going to be able to go through a week without thinking about people dying.
Also, please don’t try to recruit me to your religion. That’s not what I’m looking for and I don’t want any of those messages. I will rate you very low for them. (link)

Firstly, I will just tell you, I am Jewish. I will try my best not to try to recruit you into my religion.
Would you be mad if I tried to recruit you into religion in general? There are several religions (budhism being one) that believe in a soul and an afterlife, but not G-D. Its something you might want to look into, but it isnt for everyone, and if you have already made up your mind to be completely religionless, that's ok too.
A slight fear of death is natural, but you do make it sound as if you have a phobia. It's not uncommon, most people have at least one. It is something you can go to a councelor for, and they can help you get to the root of your fear, and if it is getting to be a big problem for you, that is what I recomend.

21/f. I've been on the contraceptive pill for 3 months or so and I've put on around 7lb. Nothing else has changed in my life - I'm at least as active as I was before and I'm eating the same healthy diet.
I'm really worried that the weight gain won't stop and I'll keep getting fatter. I already feel much heavier but I'm trapped because there is no other appropriate form of contraceptive for me. My boyfriend (who is usually a nice guy) is clearly not happy about the weight gain and makes no effort to reassure me that he doesn't mind and I'm still attractive to him, or whatever. I am not overweight by usual standards (163cm tall, 117lb) but I feel awful and am struggling to lose the weight I've put on so quickly.
My boyfriend said I should go off the pill if it would help me lose weight (great, thanks, I thought, sarcastically) but I know we'll end up having unprotected sex if I go off it as we both hate the feeling of condoms but love having sex.
So questions:
1. Has anyone else had a similar experience with weight gain on the pill and what did they do about it?
2. Why is my boyfriend is so critical of my appearance that he'd rather I risked pregnancy than was a few pounds heavier? Should I be worried about this in terms of our relationship (we've only been together 3 months)?

in case you dont want to read the sites. proof is meassure in degrees. one degree is half a percentage point of alcohol. so 40 proof = 20% which means how much of the drink is alcohol. beer is usualy about 4% wine about 6% vodka and other hard drinks about 40%

im pretty big on eyes,the first thing i really look at on a girl. the thing is, the eyes say alot about the person, but with more than the color. the color is just the shallow part. there is so much more to them. the way they move when the girl smiles for one. but really, the eyes are the window to the soul, and i know this sounds really corny, but i swear by it. if you want to make your eyes prettier, work on your soul. basically, work at being a good person. a kind person. your eyes will reflect it.
