It's not that I'm bitchy, just that I'm right. Sorry if you're too stupid to comprehend.

About me? I'm in an interracial relationship- have been for overs year. He's black; I'm white. We're pretty rad, if I do say so myself.

I live in Florida. I'm a high school graduate. I like to knit. I don't take my own advice, simply because I'm stubborn. I have a big family. Also,I have a experience with children and babies. I like to party party party and get wasted. I like to smoke cigarettes. I like to snuggle. That's all you need to know. :)

++I don't answer questions nicely [if at all] to thirteen year olds, no matter their problem.

++I have also stopped answering the whole "DOES HE LIKE ME?!?!" questions. Communication is key, people. If you want to know, ASK.

Okay so when I am talking to anyone online on AIM and i minimize the box, it usually flashes once the i.m. me again, but for the last two days it hasn't been doing this. Is there something that I have to change under preferences to make it flash yellow again?

Thanks :D (link)
Well, I have AIM 6.0 [the latest version] and with mine you go under 'EDIT' and down to 'Alert me when...'

Then just change your preferences. :]

Hope it helps, I know how aggrivating AIM can be sometimes.

can i get anything from starbucks? im 13. i heard it was really good and stuff.. but quite expensive, too. but what are some good things on the menu.. that perhaps arent so expensive? like the coffees and stuff. i wanna try cappuccino cuz the name sounds good. does that taste good? also all those frauppuccinos and etc, lol. thanks! (link)
There's no age limit on starbucks. :]
My favorite thing to get from there is a strawberry smoothie, cause it's got whipped cream ontop and I don't really even like coffee that much.
A small one is usually pleeenty and even a little too much for me to drink and it's probably about 3.50.
All my friends say that they lovvve the cappuccinos. :] And yes, the name DOES sound good.
Although I don't like the CAPpuccinos [which are the hot ones, by the way.] i LOVE the cold ones, [FRAPpuccinos. they're supppper good.]

The brownies are good--probably about a 1.50ish.

I wouldn't expect to pay more than 7 dollars in there [LARGE drink and brownie or cookie]

Yeah, fairly expensive--but addddictive. :]

Is there anything I could do to my jeans?

I've cut out fabric and made holes in the shapes of hearts and stars and put in pieces of fabric.

Is there anything else? Maybe with safety pins? Bleach? Or chains?

Pictures? (link)
Well, someone asked almost the exact same question about their jeans, so I'll answer you similar to what I answered them. :]

Bleaching's good::
Firstly, I have bleached several pairs of my jeans [accidentally and just out of boredom] before and I can safely say that the bleach isn't some kind of fabric eating monster. What I did:

for small spots: I had a cup of bleach and a q tip. dip the q tip in the bleach and dot
wherever you want the spot on your jeans.

for larger spots: use a cotton ball, but otherwise, same procedure.

[tip]you might want to wear plastic gloves while you're doing this, but if you don't, be sure not to try to get any bleach on your hands--and if you do, be SURE to wash it off with warm [not hot, it drys your hands out] water and soap.

When I redid a pair of my jeans, i found alot of old buttons off of random things [like some places when you buy a shirt, skirt, dress, pants-whatever they come with extra buttons] and i stitched those on near a pocket or something--it was cute. :]

It's best to do a little, see if you like it- do more- if you don't-stop.

Safety pins are neat::
I got a whole bunch of them and put beads on them, then pinned them on in a half circle design around my pocket-cute. :]

Chains::
Eh, a little intimdating-I personally wouldn't try it. But I'm more of a less hardcore kid than some. Maybe that's your thing.

Pictures::
Eep. Yes! I have an absolutely adorable looking robot on my jeans. they are suppper cute. :]
In the picture, the robot has a squiggle mouth and in the thought bubble he's saying, 'Eep!'. I love it.

I love the whole, pulling the vertical strings thing, too, to make a little spot. :] that's one of my favorite things to do.

Ohh, and if you don't know what I'm talking about, in this picture [http://i18.tinypic.com/2m6swlf.jpg] on my right leg, next to my knee, there's the picture of my robot and the little frayed part.

--have fun--

What kind of grants are available for single parents? Can you refer me to a website?
Thanks for your help (link)
So sorry to hear about yet another single parent. :[

But, I googled 'single parent governmental grants'.

I came up with a huge list, including [the first to show up]::

http://us-federal-government-aid.idilogic.aidpage.com/us-federal-government-aid/

This, from the sound of it, is a blog by several single mothers, it might be of some help to you:

http://teachers.net/projects/switchboard/topic850/9.16.05.12.58.55.html

And this one looked to be helpful too:

http://www.capitalpublications.com/secure_html/government_grants.html

i have a reserch project on this country and can you please help me? its due on monday. thanks.

here are my questions:

1 what is the capital city and its coordinates of mozambique?

2 what are the agriculture and industries of the country.

3. describe the everyday life of the people there.

4 what are the customs, traditions, and food there

5 family life and law

6 sport music art and leisure

7 natural hazards.

THANKSS! (link)
Lovely-- I like being first. :]

So I googled the country name and came up with this site being first:

https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/mz.html

and I also found this site to be really helpful:

http://www.africa.upenn.edu/Country_Specific/Mozambique.html

I think those two sites, especially combined will give you more than enough information. :]

So I want to punk-out an old pair of jeans I have without ruining them. Ideally, I'd like to be able to cover the jeans with a spattering pattern with bleach, but I don't want to mess up and make more holes than I already have. How can I bleach some spots without the bleach eating through and dissolving the denim? How do I do it, and how long should it take? Keep in mind I'm also going to be adding some pins and ribbons to make them look really funky and rocking. Any other tips and tricks are appreciated.
Thanks so much!

Have fun! I always enjoy projects like that.

"Convert to AAC" is just there if you want to covert the file type. You probably won't need this. It's only if you download an MP3 and want it in the iTunes file format, or whatever. Not necessary at all.

So once you've plugged in your iPod (it should still be set to manual) go to your library (on the computer) and click the song you want so it turns blue. Then you can drag it to your iPod in the source list. Make this process a LOT faster by clicking and dragging entire artists or albums, too. (if you don't have the browser at the top.. the part that lists genre, artist, and album, show it. Go to View-> SHow Browser.

When you're done adding songs, ALWAYS eject your iPod!!! Click the little arrow thing next to your iPod's name (in the source list) and everything should be there that you added, as well as everything that was already there. (link)
ahh.
you're a saint, ya know?
thanks bunches.

I'm assuming you were the one who asked about your iPod? and you weren't able to fix it or add new songs?

When you plug in your iPod, what happens? Does it show up in the source list at all? Like, does it show up on the left hand side of the iTunes window? If it does, you can just drag and drop songs to your iPod (if you disable automatic updating and do so manually)

If you need more help, ask me to my inbox (lauraxomichelle) or IM me, same name. (link)
Mhm, t'was me.
So, I open itunes, plug in iPod, it says iPod update...then when the 'update' is complete it reads that the iPod update is complete. it's not safe to unplug my iPod or whatever. so I unplug it and check my library--no new songs, even though i've put them in my library.
I did, just now [thank you for that] change it to manual, though. what i tried to do, but don't really understand what it means, is when you right click on a song and it says, 'convert selection to AAC'. any ideas?

if you're on, i'll probably just IM you in a minute, i'm getting on aim.

I've been knitting for awhile (although not consistently) with modest output--I've made two scarves and that's about it. I'm attempting to make a baby afghan by knitting squares and later sewing them together. Unfortunately, I'm having a few problems.

Any suggestions on how to keep my tension even? My squares are all coming out different sizes which, as knitters know, is not a good thing. I know that it'll take practice, but if anyone has any hints or tips (even about knitting in general, since I'm reasonably new to it) I would definitely love to hear them. I've ripped apart squares more times than I can count in just a few days. (link)
Jeepers. I knit; I know your pain.
Yeah, practice, practice, practice-that's a normal answer.
My knitting square gave me the worst trouble in the beginning. My first square was falling apart before I was even finished with it.
Although I can't say that I'm the master of the square yet, I'm still working on it.
BUT, regular knitting, I'm a wiz at. The trick is to make sure that you have a firm grip on your needles and make a system and keep doing it. Yes, it does take lots and lots of practice but if you're trying to hold your needles in between your fingers or something else crazy like that, practice isn't going to help you.
If you and I are using the same kind of knitting square [which I hope we are, because otherwise I'd feel like an idiot. lol.] then you just have to make sure NOT to pull too much until the final step. [which is the weaving, i believe.]

My aunt bought me, what i believe she called a knitting square or loom for my birthday or christmas a year or two ago--it was actually an antique loom, supposedly made in 1948. She searched the internet to find instructions, and found this nifty little site, that I happened to remember.

Now, keep in consideration that if this, in fact, has nothing to do with you, I'm terribly sorry for waisting your time, but if it is, I found the faq section:

http://www.eloomanation.com/faq.php

and the regular homepage, ofcourse:

http://www.eloomanation.com/index.php

The loom [as i call it] in the picture at the right is similar to what mine looks like.

If you have any further questions about knitting, or anything else really, go for it. I'd love to answer them.

i'm trying to get as many peoples opinions as possible, so please answer honestly: if you went to a school that is pretty open minded and liberal, etc, (this is a question about two girls, so ignore the homophobic aspects, pretend thats not an issue, what i'm talking about is age) do people think it would be weird for a junior and a freshman to go out? you see it all the time with older guys and younger girls, but would any of you think it was strange if it were two girls? (link)
Eep, I wish. [imma freshman and i like a junior.] At my school, if they aren't in the grade above or below you, you get talked about and looked at funny.
But you've got to take into consideration-- i go to a private baptist school.
Being gay/lesbian isn't done at my school, even though there are a few in the closet gays there.
I personally don't have a problem with it, but I suppose that if the two girls liked each other, then they could do whatever they felt like doing. It's nobody else's business unless they made it other people's business.

What language is this in and what does it mean?
"Fen N'est Tol" (link)
I have a favorite translator online that I use all time actually, and I went through all of the possible languages, and I got:

'Fen N'est Tol' which looked like it could be Swedish and if it is, then it means something to the effect of 'The fairy N ' Estonian Tol'. Maybe that means something more to you than it does to me.

Sorry, if it didn't help.

Me & my boyfriend broke up yesterday over a stupid reason. Tomorrows supposed to be the last time we see each other.

I really want to have a serious talk with him, because I don't want to lose him. What's something special that I can say or do for him?

Thank you! (link)
Tell him that you're sorry and that you were being stupid and were over reacting about [whatever the reason was.] tell him how much you care about him and how much you want to stay with him.
And even though you don't think you deserve him, you want him to stay with you because you think you deserve another chance.

I hope it helps, good luck tomorrow.

[i'll cross my fingers for you.]

Im 16/F and ive never been kissed. I'm not a loser..i have a lot of guy and girl friends but i just have never made out with anyone. Is this bad? (link)
Hun, it's not bad at all. One of my closest friends wasn't kissed until her eighteenth birthday-- and now, two years later, she and the boy that kissed her, are engaged. :]
So you just haven't found the right person yet; no worries. :]

My bf and I (15 f) are thinking about having sex. He's fingered me and stuff like that, but it's the farthest we've ever gone. I'm really nervous. I'm ready, I know I am. I'm a little self consious, I guess, but I know I'm not fat or anything. I'm 5'7'' and 122 lbs. I'm just nervous about him seeing my "parts." Whenever he's fingered me, he just sort of went down my pants, they never came off.

Is there anything I can do to calm my nerves? Has anyone ever had this problem? What worked for you?

Thanks in advance (link)
If you're so nervous about having sex or your boyfriend seeing your 'parts', then you've got to ask yourself if you're really and truly ready. you're only fifteen-- you're virginity is something you never get back. if you really are thinking about having sex with your boyfriend, you should make sure you are completely inlove with him, and if he feels the same way back, you shouldn't care about what he thinks of your 'parts'.

do girls like classical or rock musicians?

and i'm confused, cause i hear girls say that they love musicians, but

1)is it based on skill.exp:the better the guitaring is.the more the girl likes the guy?
does skill affect?or do girls just don't care if he is a sucky guitarist or a pro, they will still like the guitarist as long as he plays guitar??

2)is it also based on looks,?or do girls love great drummers and vocals even through they don't look good? so which one would a girl choose? a kickass drummer with average looks or a sucky drummer with model looks?

thanks for answering, anyways,if you girls like any other type of guys besides musicians....like bikers, car racers or skaters...just feel free to say what talent you would love in a guy.although i hear that most girls are not really into guys that race, but more to guys that are musically or sports inclined,it that true??? (link)
I like musicians. :]

1)For me, skill is extremely important. If you suck, it doesn't matter how you look. If I can't listen to you, there's no point in being with you. If you're a pro, it doesn't matter as much because regardless of how you look, you'll make it big [meaning money, mind you.]
2)Looks are important, don't get me wrong. If you go to dinner with someone but you don't want to even look at their face, then you're kinda screwed.

Personally, whatever you do you have to be good at it- wether it's football, baseball, guitar, skateboarding, bmx, [which are all nice, actually] you have to be good at it.

Okay so latley i have been having a lot of truble falling asleep, and i thought that i would give listening to music a try, because i dont want to use sleeping pills or anything like that.
So what would be some god R&B, Alternative,Pop or any other more current music to fall asleep to. If you could please give the artist and title that would be great thanks. (link)

so basically i'm a freshman..and i have a major crush on a senior. he's not even that cute, but i just LOVE his personality! he's in one of my classes (a language class, i'm fluent in it .. lol so don't think i'm really smart or he's really stupid). he's like an older brother-personality..yeah i know that's weird i have a crush on an older brother..but i dont know! yeah well we talk sometimes we'll say hi in the halls and stuff like that, but other than that nothing. and believe me my school is NOT the type where a senior would ever ask out a freshman or where you could get away with dating an upperclassmen without people being like wtff. so yeah, what to do!? (link)
Wow. You sound exactly like me. I'm [also] a freshman, and I've been majorly crushing on this junior. He's gorgeious, tall, majorly adorable when it comes to his personality---
Well, anywayz, I told him about a month ago, and now he rarely speaks to me and it's like he refuses to look in my direction exept when it's by accident.
Now I don't know if your guy would be like that, but [also] in my school, a freshman is nearly killed [not literally, of course] if upperclassmen found out they liked one of 'them'.
Follow your heart, do what you want to do, but be ready, boys can be shady, and we don't want that. :[
But good luck, I hope your guy is more decent then mine.

i seriously need help. like i need someone to talk about stuff with. should i go to one of those counselors that you can tell all your problems in confidence with or is that not worth it? (link)
I go to a counselor. If you go, you'll probably think they're some pyscho freak that's trying to get in your personal business, but the more you talk to them, the better you'll like yours. That's what happened to me, at least. :]
And if nothing else, you can talk to me. [People say that I'm easy to talk to sometimes, because I'm not biased.]
~Lea

Okay, so this is really a two part question. Basically, I'm applying to a prestigious boarding school and I have to do a bunch of stuff in order to get in.
1. I have to do a math or science project to showcase what I can actually do. Any ideas? I want to do something impressive but not too hard or time consuming.
2. I also must do another project. . . art, writing, anything like that. It needs to express 'who I am'. Even though you don't know me, what is a good idea?
I would appreciate you advice! (link)
Personally, for the art project I would write a short story, but that's just me. I love writing. If you aren't a writer, you could grab a camera and snap a bunch of well shot pictures, [both black and white and color] and make a collage type deal. I'm not much into math or science, but there are lots of science fair websites online- that's where I found my idea for sciencefair this year.
just google the words 'high school science fair project' or 'science fair ideas'. tons of stuff comes up. I found a couple good sites when I searched:

http://www.all-science-fair-projects.com/category39.html

http://www.all-science-fair-projects.com/category57.html

http://www.all-science-fair-projects.com/category21.html

I hope it helps and good luck if you get in~

i just got back form italy to visit the guy that i fall in love with, he said that he doesnt want to have a girl friend because he doesnt know where he is going to be moving and relationship is the last thing on his mind. i ask him if i could go and visit him again before july and he said "will see". he wants to keep in touch with me, but i get very emotional when i talk to him. i miss him a lot and his knows that. what should i do? should i tell him not to call me any more? i feel that he does care when i'm around him. his action and word are two different. (link)
If you're truly inlove with this guy, I would wait around for a little while for him. You have to remember, love isn't perfect or instant. We all make mistakes. If you don't feel you can live with not being with him but still communicating with him, cut of communication. Tell him his indecisiveness [i think that's how it's spelled. i'm horrible at english] hurts you and when he's ready for a real relationship, then call you.
I hope it works out for both of you~
