Question Posted Monday January 8 2007, 7:27 pm

"Convert to AAC" is just there if you want to covert the file type. You probably won't need this. It's only if you download an MP3 and want it in the iTunes file format, or whatever. Not necessary at all.

So once you've plugged in your iPod (it should still be set to manual) go to your library (on the computer) and click the song you want so it turns blue. Then you can drag it to your iPod in the source list. Make this process a LOT faster by clicking and dragging entire artists or albums, too. (if you don't have the browser at the top.. the part that lists genre, artist, and album, show it. Go to View-> SHow Browser.

When you're done adding songs, ALWAYS eject your iPod!!! Click the little arrow thing next to your iPod's name (in the source list) and everything should be there that you added, as well as everything that was already there.
