I got my first period in January. I haven't gotten it since then! I know I'm not pregnat.

That is totally normal. When you first get your period your body needs to get used to it and your periods can be way off. It's hard to say when you'll have your next period so just be prepared. It might be a good idea to keep extra pads and a sweat shirt in your locker in case it happens. Every girl is different so it might take 1-2 years for your period to be on schedule. =)

hi my name is stassia and i need advice to help my boyfriend forget about his mom passing.
I don't think he will forget this. He will never be able to. When someone very close to you dies, it's like a part of you dies with them. You should just support him right now. Let him know if he ever wants to talk, you are there for him. If he wants to get his mind off of it, try to help him create a busier schedule. Spend time with him and make him feel good. If he's really down in the dumps, it wouldn't hurt for him to talk to a counselor about his loss. Just be there for him and he'll really appreciate it. =)

my friend, casey has been my best friend since 4th grade. i love her like a sister. but lately she seems almost obbsessed with me. like she almost killed herself cause i was mad at her. she cut herself; her reason was that she felt depressed cause i was mad at her. now shes mad because i decided to stay home and clean tonight instead of go out to a pizza party at our church. i want to get this cleaning done cause im having my sisters communion party here next weekend. is it just me or does it seem like she almost has a crush on me?
I don't think she has a crush on you. Right now it seems like she's really insecure. Since you're her best friend, when you get mad at her she might feel like no one likes her. You just need to be there for her and try to help her through these insecurities. If you alone can't help her, you should ask a trusted adult for guidance. I hope she's OK, and good luck. =)

Ok well theirs to boys.. The one ive been on and off with since last february.. And we've been threw everything you can image together.. He was my first serious boyfriend and we did everything for each other.. But one day he cheated on me.. And its been about 2 months and every since then he's been denying it .. But i know he did and i know he just didnt want me to know but for the past 2months he;s been telling me he loves me and is sorry for everything.. Last night we went for a walk on the beach :) And he told me he loved me and cared about me and i know he wasnt lying.. And one of my xbfs Dan likes me again dont get me wrong i still care about him and what not but dan is taking me to prom and i didnt tell the other one.. and he said if i ever get back with dan he is never talking to me again.. But im deff. going to prom but i dont want to hurt dan because last time i left him for my other boyfriend.. which is the first guy i was talking about.. Should i just tell the first one im going to prom with dan and see how he reacts.. and see what happends from then on?! please help...
Yes, tell the other guy your going to the prom with Dan. He shouldn't get mad. If he really cared about you he would let it go. I think you should go to the prom with Dan and have fun. If this other guy likes you, he will wait for you. =)

One of my best friends just told me that she liked me today. She asked me if i had any feelings about it and i said not yet. The problem is that i don't really know if i like her as more than a friend. I used to like her like about a month ago, but i stopped. This may not make any sense but i want to like her as more than a friend because she is one of the nicest people i know, but i just don't think i see her that way. Is that possible? I don't want to hurt her and tell her that i'm not interested but i don't want to go out with her either. What should i do?
If you are unsure of how you feel, you shouldn't go out with her. You shouldn't try to have feelings that just aren't there. Not only are you hurting her by doing that, you're also hurting yourself. Tell her the truth. Right now you only want to be friends. She should understand when you tell her that. =)

It bothers me so much that I'm not pretty. I know having a good personality is better than everything, but Id rather look good.
So my question is:
Should I change myself *not like i havent tryed* just to be pretty? or just deal with it that im not pretty??
You shouldn't have to change yourself in any way unless YOU really want to. If you truly feel you aren't pretty and want to change, you could go get a makeover if you want. Bring your friends to suggest ideas and give you support. If anything I think you should be happy with how you are now because, like you said, people don't care about your looks...they like your personality. This is your decision, so think it over and do what you feel is going to make you happiest. =)

You should tell him! Since you know he likes you it will be easier because there will be no fear of rejection. If you don't tell him you will never know what could happen between you two. Good luck! =)

I am planning on highlighting my hair using box stuff.... any pointers?
~Keep an old towel over your shoulders and back. Why? I ruined my favorite shirt by getting dye on it!
~Follow the directions exactly how they are written. Make sure you know what to do before you actually do it.
~Keep an eye on the clock so you're sure when it's time to wash your hair.

this girl that i was friends with since last year is ignoring me and not inviting me places like she used to. We used to be really close and now we barely ever talk. but the reason we dont talk is because i am goth adn i started being it this year, and she doesnt accept it. she thinks that they are just freaks. and so now she makes fun of me and makes jokes up about me. what should i do... just keep trying to be her friend, or just keep not talking to her and find other people?
Go find other friends to hang out with. If she can't accept you as goth, that's her problem. Your friend should like you no matter what you look like. A true friend wouldn't ignore you like that. I think you should find people who truly accept you for who you are. =)

The best thing to do is to ignore it and act like it's no big deal. This way he doesn't feel as uncomfortable about it. Some girls freak out about it, but it's best not to. =)

That was her decision to dump you. If you're concerned, talk to her and she will tell you why she just wants to be friends. Maybe she likes another guy, or just feels differently about you now. It sucks to be dumped but just talk to her about it. =)

ok there is this guy name josh and we went out over the summer then broke up a day before school started. I still like him. we havent tlaked in a while but the other day we did a little bit. Last week my friend asked him would he ever go back out with me, and he just smiled. but he has a girlfriend. i really think he likes you. the only thing getting in your way is the fact that he has a girlfriend. Take him aside and tell him how you still like him. It's up to him to decide if he likes you more that his girlfriend. If he really does like you a lot, he will dump her. =)

I feel as if my friend and I are drifting apart but I dont want to! She is like my sister. She quit dance and now we hardley ever see eachother. She means so much to me but i feel as f we are drifting apart. What do I do?
Call your friend and tell her how you feel. She might feel the same. Invite her out to lunch or over for a sleep over or something. Make it just the two of you so you can catch up on what's going on. After this try to keep in contact with her regularly. =)

Yes, it's normal. If the girl is polite and understanding, she won't care you got a boner. The girl might freak out though. If she does, stop flirting or making out. If she's worth it she won't leave you or tell other people. All guys get boners so there's nothing to be ashamed about at all. If she has a problem with it, then well that's her problem. =)

im in 7th grade and i want to go to a new school...already have one picked out and visited it ..but if i leave id miss my friends and if i go to the new school id be weird bc i dont "understand" how it all goes bc i am used to my school but the reason im going there would be to meet new ppl and i know no one there..if i go there id have to make new friends then the next year make new ones in high school bc they would all go to a different one...should i go to the new one or just stick with the old one? i ahve until sunday march 13th to decide
I can't decide for you. But think about this. If you go to the new school, you can still keep in contact with your old friends and also make new ones. That's a benefit. But if you stay at the old school you won't need to get used to changes or have to meet new people. Think this through. Make a complete list of pros and cons for yourself. You should also get opinions from friends and family on what to do. Do this until you can make a sure answer. Follow these steps and try not to have any regrets. =)

hey..i think you should start a conversation with her first. talk about school, current events, hobbies, whatever. then casually ask "hey, do you want to go out with me?" if she likes you, she will say yes. if not, there's still time to get to know her better. when you talk to this girl just try to be your usual outgoing self. i know it's hard but once you start talking to girls it will get easier. good luck. =)
