its an amazing site that helps with that kind of thing.
well, its because it was your first.
I have had mine for 3 years, and it STILL is not regualr!! so, dont worry about it!!! you will possibly expierence discharge, or you already have, it is a clearish-white-yellowish "glop" and it is normal, it is your body cleaning itself out. its okay! its normal for it to do that "down there"
uh, if you have anyother questions about anything, esp. this, leave one in my inbox!!
I am really good at this!!
Karen answered Monday April 25 2005, 7:18 am: If you got your first period in January, then it can take months for your next period to come. Once you start your period, it's going to be irregular for the next few years, meaning you don't know when it will come and how long it will last. There's nothing wrong with you; you just need to wait until your period comes, that's all. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
Disgruntled_Michael answered Monday April 25 2005, 12:10 am: -eyeroll- It takes a while for people to get their "rythem of life" going. It will take a while for it to come back. Or, you could have sists in your overies like I do. I had to take pills until my cycle was normal again. Ask your doctor about it and ask about "ovarian sists". IfIonlyhadaLIFE answered Sunday April 24 2005, 8:40 pm: It takes a while for your periods to become regular. There's nothing wrong with you. Just wait and it will probably come sooner or later, but when it does be ready because it will probably last a long time. [ IfIonlyhadaLIFE's advice column | Ask IfIonlyhadaLIFE A Question ]
LidDLemiSzJkiDd answered Sunday April 24 2005, 8:18 pm: Yes. Periods are irregular at first. Also Personally stress plays a huge role in when my periods come and go...I`ve found that forms of birth control regulate your period. Depending on your age this may be something to think about getting on. Not that anyone cares, but I get mine the same time every month now that i`m on birth control. =)
ballerina04 answered Sunday April 24 2005, 8:16 pm: There's absolutely nothing wrong with you. For a while after you first get it, your period is going to be irregular. Just always be prepared for whenever you get it next. Hope I helped. Send me something if you need more help. ♥ Kristen [ ballerina04's advice column | Ask ballerina04 A Question ]
xXxpinky615xXx answered Sunday April 24 2005, 8:14 pm: When you first start menstruating, you're period will be irregular for up to 4 years. Meaning, you're period can come at any time. There is absolutly nothing wrong with you, it's completely natural. Also, if you're athletic that could delay your period for a few months. Nothing to worry about. You're fine. xluvinux answered Sunday April 24 2005, 8:13 pm: That is totally normal. When you first get your period your body needs to get used to it and your periods can be way off. It's hard to say when you'll have your next period so just be prepared. It might be a good idea to keep extra pads and a sweat shirt in your locker in case it happens. Every girl is different so it might take 1-2 years for your period to be on schedule. =)
LoveNJstyle answered Sunday April 24 2005, 8:11 pm: first couple months are known to be irregular so dont worry about it, you are fine. if you dont get it again by june/july then go get checked out. www.beinggirl.com that should help. <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
EJ47 answered Sunday April 24 2005, 8:11 pm: Absolutely nothing is wrong with you dearie. If you got you're firstthis January, then you can't really say when you're next will be. Just always keep pads/tampons handy when it sneaks up on you. Ibuprofen too, for the cramps if they come up too. It'll take a few years for your body to work out a menstrual cycle it can repeat for your life.
