I keep reading about sperm dying when it hits air but it doesn't make any sense to me. Is it true about cum? If the sperm comes in contact with air then it dies instantly or within so many seconds? How can that be true?

it doesnt die instantly but it does die quite quickly. it depends on how got or cold the air is too.
on average i think sperm can live exposed for about ten seconds?

I was swimming today and my nipples kept getting really hard when I got out of the water. My crush was at the pool too and I didn't want him to notice because I think it's embarrassing and might give him the wrong impression about me. How can I hide hard nipple when wearing swimwear or bathing suits so I feel more comfortable about myself? I was thinking maybe some sort of tape but I'm not sure if that might work when hiding them when I am in the pool water. Thanks everybody!

tape would just come of because of the water hon.

bikinis and other swimsuits theres days can have pads in. i like them because i feel more confident in them because i feel more supported. others use them for your reason
while other hate pads, flatter chested girls usually hate the pads some time owever some love them. its all personal preference

so yeah try buy a swim suit with removable pads or build in pads

on bit of adivcce though if buying one with removable pads. be sure to take the pads out when you wash your bathing suit! otherwise its a job to sort out

My boyfriend bought a box of condoms that are marked as ultra thin or whatever. I told him I won't use them because I think they probably are more likely to break and I'm not on birth control pills so we don't have a back up protection thing or whatever. He says they aren't more likely to break than like regular condoms and doesn't want to go buy more condoms.

Are these thing condoms more likely to break or not?

they are more likely to break because they are thinner. if your going to use these condoms they should be used orally (altho most people use flavored ones instead) or for some very gentle loving, and are not to be used for anal sex.
secondly if hes not willing to go and buy more condoms. that shows me what kind of guy he is. someone i wouldnt want to be having sex with.

the reason why most men like thinner condoms is so they can get more of a sensation. if this is so i recommend gettin so sensitive condoms ( average thickness, but have features to make it more pleasure able for him.)

i dont know how old you are but you seem to be 16-20 kind of age range roughly. for someone of that age i recommend the thicker condoms. because when we are young we get more excited and are more... faster lets put it ;) hehe ;).

Weird I know. It's not like I mind the touching, it makes me glad people feel comfortable around me. I'm just curious as to why people touch me.(not badly, but just light skinship) Okay, examples: 1) I was in art class drawing, and minding my own business. i ask myself this too. this sort of happens to me. however it because i dont feel comfortable with certainpeple touching me. and its bad i know. maybe youjust dont like some people touching you.

hi i went somewhere yesterday and my parents didnt trust me for using drugs and stuff (i didnt though i didnt do anything back) but we were walking through the park and there was marijuana smoke like the smell of it .. since i smelled that if they wanted to have me tested would that show up in my system? i didnt smoke it i didnt inhale it, i just smelled the odor from it

ind epends how close you were to the smoke ive known people not touch the stuff (but be around freinds who have been smoking) and he has got high off of that. it depends how close you were, and how strong the smell was and how long you were around it. AND it depends on you body.
you know how some people can drink loads but not be drunk while other are done after two glasses of whatever... simalar thing happens with drugs. sort of.
back to the inhaling though. i wouldnt worry much as its only the second hand bit. however this is dangerous stuff. not something you want to be around. bear this in mind in futre!

I was reading about some different exercise techniques because I want to lose some pounds. This one place was talking about doing CRUNCHES. From the diagram, it looked kind of like a sit-up to me. Are they the same thing or...? What's the difference between a crunch and a sit up? Thanks.

as sit up you bring your chest up to your knees. a crunch you only go as far as you need to (when you feel the "pull" in your muscles.
they are supposed to work your body in different ways.
some say sit ups can stress you tummy muscle too much too.. im not sure on that one though

So Lately I have been feeling so anti-social. Its Just come to a point were I really dont wanna be bothered at all!! I love my friends but i just wanna get out the "lets party scene. And i also sometimes feel as if my friends really dont care. Example: whenever i feel the need to talk to my friends whether its about personal issues or boys or life period their never around. if it hurt pretty much straight away the likeley hood is he had too many finger in for your tightness
however if it bagqn to hurt after a while it may because he was going to rough.

Female. 15. 10th grade.

This is a story back from my years in the Jr. High (7th grade to 9th grade). People think my band director and I had a little bit of a strange relationship. I was close to him, everyone has their favorite teacher. He was mine. He was a sweetheart, he cared about his students but he was stern when he needed to be, he wasn't a pushover. I am now in the Sr. High band which is a lot more difficult due to competitions and all of the practices but one thing my Sr. High band director brings up a lot is how we weren't trained right in Jr. High, which makes me think of my Jr. High band director. I didn't really think much of the way we acted in Jr. High but looking back on it, our relationship was kinda strange. I guess I'll bullet some of the things that stood out to me.

-In seventh grade I didn't really care what I looked like, so I wore my hair up a lot. When I started wearing it down and making it look pretty like curling it, my teacher noticed and said I looked different, that it was nice.

-If I was late for a class, the teacher would tell me to hurry but they would always ask me to do things for them, I would wind up being late but they would never write me a pass because they warned me to hurry. So, I would walk to the band room and my band director would write them for me.

-If I wanted to skip a class like gym or something, he would excuse me from the class by telling the teacher I needed to practice my instrument, we had a concert coming up or something.

-One day at sectionals, it was me, my close friend and my band director. He sat next to me on the right and my friend sat next to me on the left, two seats over, so it was him-me-empty seat-her. I kept trying this part that I couldn't get down and once I finally got it, I was really excited so I was like "yea yea! woo!" and accidentally put my hand on his thigh, in excitement. I had no intention of making that like a sexual move, it just.. happened. He didn't look shocked nor move my hand, I moved it when I actually realized it was there.

-His office is right in the music suite hallway so he always keeps his door shut to keep the noise of the practicing instruments or chattering kids out. I would go into his office to talk with the door shut and the other kids would look in on us.

-He would know when something was wrong with me, because of the way I acted, I'm usually talkative and happy so he knows when something's up with me and he'd always ask.

-He always called me my full first and last name and I would always tell him he can just call me by my first name but he never did. So, one day I said that I am going to start calling him by his first name and I did sometimes and he didn't seem to mind, when we were with other kids, though, he would tell me that his name was Mr. ___

-Playing the instrument I do put me in the first row for concert band and I would talk A LOT because I sat next to one of my best friends and he would always scold us for talking but smile after. Then at the end of my last Jr. High year he said "sure is gonna be quiet without you.. I'll miss it."

-He had since had his first child when I left for the Sr. High and we had always joked that he was going to have a girl and name her after me and she's going to play the same instrument I do and he joked back he would put her up for adoption if she was ever as talkative as me and I said oh pfft, you love it & he would take a second and say "yea, I guess I do. Makes band more fun."

-He would be walking out of the band suite and I would be walking in, say hello to him and we'd stop in the hallway and talk for a few minutes.

-He let me sit in on his music classes (if you teach band or orchestra you also teach music class) and sit in on his study halls and play on his computer.

-My mom said a few times "if you had this relationship with any other teacher, I would be worried about this."

So? Be completely honest, just don't scold me or yell at me if you think we crossed the line. Do you think we passed the student teacher boundaries? Why do you think that we did or didn't? Maybe he just favored me.. do you think he kinda liked me? Thanks!

to be honest i think your teacher could have done more to stop you and balance it out but whatever its not unusal for coach to have more "itimate" relationships than normal teachers. and im saying that because im a cheerelading coach myself. and when i say intimate i mean deeper convosations and stuff.

you need to ask yourself are you prepared to have a relationshiop witha baby.

ok at school i stole an ipod and sold it to a mate then the original owner of the ipod found and and got the school inovled. now every one hates me.

your dad sound the most stable enviroment although if he is violent you either should : call chilp protection services. or just live with your mum

okay, so I started my period a couple of days ago, and my bestfriend asked me if I wanted to go swimming with her tomorrow I said yes, because i'm not that heavy. I don't wear tampons only pads so would it be ok if I wear a dark bathing suit and a panty liner?

i wouldnt take the person below me adivce. because periods are unpredicatble sometime i get a realy heavy flow. othertimes im normal flow.

personally i think you should not go or face up to tampons.

There is this boy at my church that I like. I initiated everything, the phone calls, the notes, the eye contact. Which is why I never initiated an actual conversation, that was his job. He never did, though. He could not work up the nerve to talk to me. Ever! He writes me these cute notes, saying I'm his only one, that he gets a huge knot in his stomach when he tries to talk to me. He's on the church worship team and every time he would sing, he would look right at me, like he was singing to me. He had since gotten a girlfriend, talked to her and just asked her out, no problem. Why couldn't he talk to me and ask me out that easily?
