I am to be Chrismated this week at my new Church. It is Melkite Greek Orthodox Catholic Church. I am disappointed that my grandparents refuse to come. On top of that they did not tell me the true reason that they aren't coming. They told me that it was the "weekly hair appointment" that couldn't be changed. Which is garbage. My father told me they would not come because their beliefs do not match. How do they know that without even walking in the church one time? I mean really. I don't know why I am suprised, but it has hurt my feelings a little bit.
They are good people and build churches as part of a mission in the Baptist Church. I have been Baptist up until now but two things have guided me to this church: the need to be a little more celebratory of Christ's Resurrection and Saviour of us people, and my fiance is the Cantor. If my fiance wasn't the Cantor or we weren't together, I would still like to be a part of this church.
I have tried and tried to explain that this is not the Roman Catholic Church and some of the things I have learned. They are so prejudiced as to what a Catholic is to them. Which at one time I heard: mean, Italian, and wrong. Which none of the three are true.
I realize that they aren't going to change to my religion ever, but I am a bit upset they wouldn't come for my sake. At least they are coming to the wedding.
So do I bug them every day until the event so that I can see them, or just let it go? How can I get them to understand my decision? (link)

if it would make you happy than stand by tour decision and explain to them it hurts and that it means alot to you and well if they still dont tell you why or dont tell you than forgret them

Well, My 5 year olf brother and I walked into the room my 16 year old sister and I share, and we saw her and her boyfriend having sex...
They didnt even know we were there for like two minutes... I was frozen, my feet rooted to the floor, but then finally my brother pulled me away... the problem is... My brother asked me, just as we walked out, "what were they doing there?"
I seriously dont know how to answer him... I mumbled something, but all week he's been persisting, and I need to give him an answer before he asks my parents and gets my sister into trouble... Please help!!! (link)

My best friend dated my ex. It was a tough thing for me to see.They are totally over and you would think everything is fine. Wrong. I still like him. At least I think I still like him. well see ..i was goin out with this kid (eric) for like 4 months and yeah we had sex.. but then like .. i dont know we got in some kinda fight ish thing .. and then like .. i kissed this kid Jimmy and ended up liking him ..so i broke up with Eric cuz i felt wicked mean .. cuz i cheated on him and then i liked Jimmy so i dumped eric .. and now my bestfriend is goin out with him .. ( im goin out with Jimmy and she started goin out with Eric a week later) and Eric made out with my cuzin 2 days later,and then went out with her and then broke up with her and told me that he was like still in love with me and then went out with my Bestfriend.. i mean is it alright to be kinda mad about this or is it like .. wicked bitchy and stupid to be ?

well your not beging stupid but it sounds to me that wouldnt be feeling mad or jelous in less you dudnt still have feelings for him and like you said he said that he was still in love with you so maybe he's trying to get you mad and jelous so if you like tell him

i have a very high self esteem like i feel really good about the way i look because i know no1s perfect but sometimes i get really hurt when this guy at my school lets call him james makes fun of my ears because they stick out a little i know i shouldnt let him bother me bcuz im proud of who i am but he makes me feel so ugly because he can say some really mean stuff and im not the kind of person who will defend myself because im a very quiet girl because of my family backrounds can anyone tell me what to do about this situation (link)

i have a coughing problem and i have no idea what im going to do because it comes so fast and at random times its ruining my life!! okay so in class il just be sitting and il get this feeling in the back of my throat and sometimes its only on one side, and it will make me gag if i dont cough!! and when i do cough my eyes get all watery, and the itchy/weird feeling in my throat wont go away. il have some water and itl go away but then it will come back. im not sick, and this comes only at random times and i always make a big scene cuz i gotta get up and go to the bathroom cuz its so loud and..bad. i hate the feeling!!!! somebody PLEASE HELP ME! ive tried coughdrops/water/gum and it doesnt help! Over the past few weeks my boyfriend has seemed [for lack of better words] wilted. He isn't happy, around me that is. hey there, some of you know that I answered a LOT of questions in this site. My friend doesnt have internet in her house so she asked me to ask for your opinion.
She likes her best guy friend, a lot, she cant stop thinking about him and she always gets upset when hes around other girls. I know he considers her as his sister, HE TOLD ME!
What she wants to do is let him realise she likes him more than a friend but I told her it would screw up everything! things would get awkward and stuff. So what she's asking is, should she tell him? Personally I dont think she should.
And she also asked why he hangs out and fools around with other girls instead of her?

well there 2 answers to her question one you have a really goood point because he thinks her as a sistery type but then again she also has to decide if shes ready for a change un there friendship she could tell him how she feels but then shes going to have to deal whatever happens you know stay friends or not or hey she might get what she wants and become more thatn just friends

THIS IS PRETTY LONG AND BORING....
Im 20m and never had a girlfriend!!!I never even hold or kiss a girl before.... It's not that im ugly or gay, although im not the cute or handsome type either. When i was in high school there were a few girls that come up to me but they weren't my type so i refused them all. But the girl that was my type, i never had the courage to ask them out (im very shy around the girl i like). Now that i drop out of college and work fulltime, i dont have the chance of meeting new people. HOW AM I GOING TO GET A GF? I dont hang out that much and i had never step foot in a club before. Here's the weird thing, the older i get the pickier i am about girlfriend. I thought that not having a gf is suppose to make me desperate, but im not, although i do want a gf pretty bad. What make it worse is that i dont like party girls or girls that would go out with someone that just met and thought he is kinda cute, of course there is nothing wrong with that, im just being picky.
