Ok well i have curly, poofy-ish hair.

it's golden brown, and long-ish.
i'm getting kind of bored with it, and i have a round-ish, heart-sh shaped face. it's kind of skinny an my eyebrows are thick-ish but not like bushy ha.

how should i get my hair cut?

'Layers' is the easiest answer, but may not be the best. Think about this.. You just said you had curly/poofy hair. Too many layers will make it even worse and a bigger hassle when you go to fix it in the morning. Ask a hair stylist what she can do to eliminate the frizz and cut your style time in the morning. A couple layers are okay, but more than that can make for a bad haircut. I suggest to look at some hairstyles you like online and print them out to take to your hairdresser or go to the salon and look through their books there.

hi,im 14,male and im gay, the problem is i dont know how to come out. i mean i dont mind being gay i actually like being gay. but i dont know how to tell my family, im afraid of wat thell think of me. My mom really isnt much of a listener i never met my dad. I can understand your frustration with the whole 'having to earn your mom's respect' thing, because personally I think after 14 years she should have some for you. You're growing up and becoming a young adult. You are still finding yourself and she should give you some credit and respect that. Its not easy to come out in our society now' days. For the most part gays are looked upon as 'socially unacceptable' and shunned for it... So I just want you to know first of all I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! I can tell you're a smart individual so your mother should be able to hear you out when you tell her. Tell her this is the choice you have made and that this is honestly how you feel, that you want her acceptance and that you're only telling her this because YOU respect and care about HER and you hope that she can do the same to you. Let her know you love her and you're not doing this to hurt her and that you really want her to understand more than anyone.

okay i have two questions:

1. whats the best product to use to protect your hair when you straighten it (brand names would be greatly appreciated)
2.i was at a salon (adam broderick, if that helps) and the stylist was talking about a gel that you can put in your hair that really defines curls. if anybody uses a good product like this, and has pretty thick hair, could you tell me what you use?

Actually, I agree with her. Aussie is a good brand and smells sooo good! I don't even need to wear perfume and I get compliments on how great I smell. Lol.

As for the straightening brands... VO5 it notorious for being good with heat and will help you straighten your hair (with use of an iron/blow dryer) and its good if you're on a budget. I like Bedhead products and they have stuff for curls and I think some for straightening too. I use garnier surf hair and gum putty(I think that's the name) and finish it off sometimes with Aussie hairspray for my curls, but It depends on your personal taste.

This is a weird and random question, lol, but is it okay to call your boyfriend "babe" or is that too girly? Just wondering, cause when I said i love you to him the other day, I wanted to say I love you soo much babe but i wasnt sure if thats like... an unnacceptable name to call your guy lol. what are your thoughts? And do guys not like being called handsome, or do they secretly like it? what are names that guys like to be called?

Oh its definetly alright! The names you call him just depends on how you feel and your comfort on it, as well as his- but most guys are okay with it. Me and my bf use to use 'Sweetie' or 'Sweetheart' with eachother. He loved being called those. I also called him funny names that rhymed with his name. It depends on his personality, really.

ok so in the last two days one of my classmates' mother died. It was really unexpected to me even though she had been fighting off cancer. her son, who i dont really talk to that much, is in a group project with me for a class. I don't know what to say to him when i see him. The family is keeping this all really private and I don't want to be pushing. Since I think that they had seen it coming for a while, he doesn't seem to be all that depressed but maybe it's just taking a while for it to sink in. help me on what to say ! 16/f thanks in advance

I think since you don't want to embaress him or be upfront about it (since its a private affair) you should buy him a nice Sympathy card. Write a little in it and tell him your always there if he needs to talk and that you sympathize with his loss. Slip it to him in class and don't make it very obvious in front of the other classmates. Its always nice to know that someone cares, and you'll be doing more than you'll ever know by just giving that card. Even if he doesn't take you up on that offer to talk to you, he knows he can.

It won't be awkward if you don't make it awkward. Keep your calm. Though you say you don't like her anymore it kind of sounds like you do. Staring at her and feeling wierd about it kind of shows that maybe your not over her completely like you thought you were. I say become her friend. Guys go through awkward stages when their younger, and your older now, so have a better chance at landing a girl. If you relax your nervousness won't show and she won't notice your uncomfortable. It might sound kind of dumb--but I suggest renting the movie 'Stomp The Yard'. Practice their moves with them. Its better than reading up on How To Stomp because you actually get to visualize it, pause it, rewind, etc. Learn at your own pace and have fun while you do!

I hate argueing but lately ive just been arguing about every little thing. how do i control my anger. i never used to get mad, i used to be more laidback. how do i become happier and calm. do i need see a counselor. i feel mom doesnt love me enough? i just want to sit in my room all day. sometimes i say mean things to people i dont mean. im like the nicest person ever, and i dont kno what i say mean things. i wouldnt never say those mean things when im not mad. i hope god forgives me. will he? i need help. i hate when people walk over me, and i think because i stay quiet my anger builds up so how do i control it and stay sweet. sim a taurus. does that have to do with it (lol). it sucks how people use and take advantage of nice people. ;(

Of course God forgives you sweetie! He died for our sins, and he knows what a wonderful person you are inside... He's just waiting for YOU to find it. Taurians are strong-willed and sometimes headstrong. If there's something they want, they'll go for it; and their very sweet and understanding-very smart. So I know you'll understand what I'm saying to you and you'll be okay. =]
I know what its like to explode because your holding everything inside. And to feel unappreciated.talk to your mom about your true feelings, I have a feeling she doesn't quite know how you feel or what your going through, but I'm sure she loves you dearly and will try to help. Counceling is a good idea, because believe it or not, just to have a person who cares enough to sit and listen to your problems is a godsend.
There are a lot of mental illnesses linked to anger(not saying that you have them, but there's a chance you could) such as:
Clinical Depression
Borderline Personality Disorder
Antisocial Personality Disorder
Manic Disorder
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Some of those have to do with self-esteem problems, some having to do with sadness, or having to do with what happened in the past that is maybe leading you to be so angry and unhappy. A psychologist can surely tell you if you have any of those and help you with that. Personally, I suggest anger management. Its a great and helpful program that helps you:
-Identify why your so angry with people
-Learn what makes you angry and how to avoid them
-Learn ways to relax
-Learn coping strategies
-Gain confidence

I'm sure you're a sweet person, just from reading your message I could tell, so I want the best for you and hope you get better. You deserve it.

First of all... Do you want to be with your girlfriend or not? Sounds like some things you do, she doesn't approve of. Does she make you HAPPY?? If not, you have to let her go and find someone who does. No one can run your life but yourself, so if someone wants you to do something use your own judgement. It seems like your friends, your cousin, and your girlfriend all want different things from you... But what do YOU want? Ask yourseld that, eliminate in your life things you don't, and try to go after the things you do.
Its hard when you're trying to please everyone, but you only have one life, and I always say "Make it count". I think what others think is weighing you down and putting stress on you. I think not being able to make them and you happy is also depressing you. It may even aid in your anger-and being angry can cause angry thoughts like the fantasy about being hit by a car. I say try to clear your mind. Keep asking what YOU WANT, and keep your cool about things that just bug you. I think you'll be alright.

i'm starting to make shirts. i have fabric spray paint and fabric markers. i already made one that has a mixtape on the back and at the bottom of the back, it says feel the beat. what are some other ideas i could put on another shirt?

Peace and anti-war stuff is pretty popular. Its also a way to show your outspoken. Political views/ your favorite band/ girl power, etc. My friend wanted to make a shirt that said "Power to The Pussy's" and put a cat under it. I thought that was pretty cool and unique. So come up with your own remarks, sayings, etc.make people jelous that your shirt is one of a kind. Also, when you get good enough you can sell your stuff on ebay :]

I have dark brown, shoulder length hair.
I would like to bleach a bit of it at the front, like the first few strands. Mostly tocreate a more dramatic effect.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a quick and cheap way to bleach my hair without totally destroying it.

So I like have acne on my legs and it realy weird!!!! I can't wear skirts!!!!!

Use OXY acne medication. There's also some body wash you can get at any local Rite Aid/Walgreen/CVS..etc. If your pimples have 'puss' or whiteheads you can clean them with hydrogen peroxide(usually in a brown bottle) to get rid of the infection. A drawing salvent will draw out the infection if they are NOT puss/whitehead filled, allowing your pores on your legs to open up and breath.
If none of this works I suggest you consult a doctor about your condition-he will reffer you to a dermatologist who will then perscribe you strong medicine for this.

I just met this guy in high school. We talk all the time in English class and thats about it. We have eachother on msn, and i do make an effort to talk to him but he only always has to go at that point. This conversation we had on msn today:

Me: What do we have for English hmwk?
Him: I dont know
Me: Didnt you copy it down?
Him: Nopee i didnt
Me: Okay, ill get it tomorrow
Him: Kayy byee
Me: Oh, are you leaving?
Him: Nope, i dont feel like talking anymore
Me: Ohhkay...bye...

He stayed on for about 10-15 minutes more. What did that mean? All answers are greatly appreciated.

Oh how rude he is!! First of all, what a butt, second of all it doesn't seem like he is into you. You don't need a guy who acts like that anyways though. I'd like to say that he's just shy... But that's not the fact here. I'm sorry to say this guy is not interested whatsoever.

Well I like this guy that's in like 1 of my classes and he's like the type of guy that's shy towards the girl that he likes...I'm also the type of girl who's shy towards the guy that I like. I think you'll have to try to make conversation. You can try to smile when he looks your way, write him notes, even email him if the shyness is that bad. I think you looking like you're open and like him will nake him want to open up too. Guys do not like rejection so he's risking that by going up to you and asking you out. I think you should just try your best to make small talk so you can make him comfortable enough to make the big move.

3 is the best. The newest-the I.D. sucks. It doesn't have a camera on it and it has a smaller screen. The chocolate phone is really a pain in the ass. I had it for a while and couldn't stand it! I'd reccomend against it.

There's a phone called the LG Prada which is cool. It just depends what service you have. I believe the Prada is with T-Mobile. Anyways, hope I helped a bit!
