Can someone who knows baseball tell me why it is such a big deal that Dallas Braden pitched a perfect game? Sorry, I am a girl and I don't understand baseball very well. Not even sure what a perfect game would entail.

It's only happened 19 times in the big leagues, and that is a very elite group. A perfect game is where a pitcher doesn't allow one hit, a walk, a hits batsmen (hit by pitch), or an error. In professional baseball where hitters are the best around and can't hit against someone that's why it is a big deal.

This year in baseball we have to use either a -3 bat or -5. I bought a bat, 34 inches 31 ounces so a -3. Tonight i was outside batting with brother and dad and i noticed this bat is heavy. I need to get used to it and i noticed my back, upper back, and left elbow are hurting from it. I am right handed btw. I use more upper body strength when i hit, that is what my coach tells me and i can tell since i don't hit the farthest but if i do get the ball in the sweet spot and every now and then use my legs for power i can hit far.
Since my season starts soon i need to get used to the bat so any exercises or tips will help.

well if you could find a 30 oz. and 33 in. that would be better its is much lighter. But if you are using the 31 oz. just swing hard because no matter how heavy it is you should be able to get it through the zone quick. And one last thing don't use just your upper body when you swing, you should always squash the bug when you bat, what that means is open your hips up before your bat comes through, it won't hurt as much. Well you have to remind her that she is pretty and there's more to her than just "sex," also tell her that some guys don't look for sex, they want a good, caring, nice girl. I would chose personality over looks any day. If she still doesn't listen to you though just tell her to talk to this guy before they do it and ask him if this is for real and just keep questioning him. Hope all goes well!

I like a 18 yr. old guy. I'm 15. He smokes pot, and cigarettes, and drinks, but he's very considerate friendly and hardworking. We're okay friends. I promised myself once I'd never get involved with a druggie but I find it hard to believe in my mind that he's like the rest of the pot heads. Well you have to take a good look at his friends, because if you decide to get with this guy, he will start to bring you around them more often and they will more than likely pressure you into bad habits. Sometimes the good ones have a bad choice in friends and you can't help it, but that's only my view. Hope all goes well!

Listen, calm down, you can have a little faith for your girlfriend and believe her. Girls hate it when guys don't believe them and it just makes it worse. If she really loves you then she won't drink. If you love her you can trust her. Hope all goes well!

No, it's not just you there are other girls like that. But since you are as pretty as people say then they are just intimidated by you because they think you are out of their league and don't have a shot. So it's kind of your job to ask them out because they don't want to get rejected. Hope all goes well!

okai so ever since i told this guy that i like him he doesnt talk to me anymore. he did the same with his ex after he broke up with her.
the thing is that we where really good friends before all that & he was actually leading me on as well?
but now he just doesnt talk to me anymore which makes me really depressed cause im still in love with him.
i tried talking to him again, i actually wrote him a text wishing him a nice weekend. and then he wrote back saying 'oh thanks to you too. how are you? what are you up to? we havent talked in a while... xo'
so then i wrote him back telling him what im up to & asking him how HE is etc and he wrote 'I'm good (...) we'll see eachother on monday! xo '
so yeah.. today i saw him & he didnt even look at me once. then later on i said hi & he said hi back but that was it.
& then he just stared at me when i was talking to his friend later on (hes also good friends with me) & then just walked by me again without looking at me again.
AND i also know that hes always stalking my myspace (dont ask how)
but he rejected me cause he still has feelings for his ex. i really dont understand this?!

Well it's not easy to do but you have to move on from this guy. You can still be friends but if you were friends before and he's acting like this now I wouldn't see him as much of a friend. Just do what he is doing to you except for the stalking part that's a little freaky just kind of ignore him. Hope all goes well!

Well he is actually my ex boyfriend. I wasn't aware that I was immature. But he says that I behave like I am 10 years old sometimes (not always). That's not why he left me. He just sees me as a friend now. I am 16 years old and have never been called immature :(. Any ideas? (link)

I can't dance either man, but chill the kind of music they play is just something you move to the beat with there is no particular dance for every song. If you know how to slow dance then your basically set. Just tell her if you nervous though and she'll help you out if she's your girlfriend she will care about you. Hope all goes well!

So, on with the story! On Halloween night, my friend threw this amazing party. It turned out we were going to watch a really scary movie. I don't do scary movies very well so I was a little bit nervous that I would scream my lungs out in front of everybody. Then a really nice thing happened. A guy that I'm friends with through my friend who threw the party came over to me. We've talked before and we see eachother at school all the time but we never really... "talked." He came over and said, "Don't worry, I don't really do scary movies either. If you want, we can hold on to eachother..." Of course I said yes and he was really sweet throughout the entire movie, and didn't make fun of me when I screamed like all the other kids did. At the end of the night when I had to leave he came up to me and hugged me really tight. The next day another friend came up to me and said "'D' doesn't hug anybody. What'd you do to him?" So life got really busy and he was in the school play and we really didn't have a lot of time to talk, nobody really did, until last night. Last night another one of our mutual friends had a birthday party. It was a bowling party and I suck at bowling. I pretty much gave up after one frame and went to talk to the other kids who didn't want to bowl. He followed me over there. We talked and talked and talked and all through the night. Every time I wasn't talking to him I'd catch him staring at me. Then he'd blush and turn away. The weird thig was, it was like talking to a male version of myself. We were so much alike it was uncanny. When it was time to go, my friend was giving us all in a ride home so we climbed into her van. It's massive but there were still about 13 of us crammed into it. With her being the driver, she decided who was going to sit where. It just so happened that the guy and I had to sit on the floor, facing eachother. He pulled out his iPod and I was like, "Oh no, don't disappear into your own little world!" and he goes, "Oh, haha, I wasn't. I was going to give you a bud." I have really weird shaped ears and earbuds never seem to fit right. I was struggling and he goes, "Here, let me put it in. I just got to get a little closer..." He got close and put the bud in my ear so it actually stayed. This is the funny part. The song he put on was a song from my favorite band. A highly obscure band that nobody I've ever talked to has ever heard of. It was great. We sang all the lyrics and had a great ride home. At the end he hugged me and went off.
Guys, do you think he likes me? I'm not sure if he was being friendly and nice or flirting with me. If you do think he likes me, how do you suppose I go about maybe asking him out?

I'm a guy and it's obvious he likes you. You both like the same bands, he hugs you and he never hugs anyone else, and you think of him as yourself, just as a guy though. To ask him out I would try and find a song put it on your phone or mp3 and tell him this is how i feel about you and see where it goes. Hope all goes well!

This is more of an opinion question I guess, but I have NEVER met a guy that is gorgeous but doesn't know it. I've met a few girls that are really pretty and they are confident and stuff, but theyre not conceited and they dont really realize HOW pretty they are. I just wonder if there are any guys out there like that. It just seems that all the guys that are gorgeous are all into themselves and KNOW they look good. It's different from confidence its self-interest. So I was wondering, do you guys think there are any guys out there that are gorgeous but dont really realize it? (link)

Yes there are those kind of guys out there but you don't notice them because they are probably shy or not confident. Just look around you and see if there are any guys you haven't talked to before and just wonder why not? Hope that helps!

To get over him you don't have to stop liking him that will just take longer. Just keep on liking him and soon you'll realize this isn't going anywhere. Who knows if your friends are really telling you what he said the only way you can find out is by asking him yourself. You don't have to flirt with him just talk to him if he knows you then just start asking questions about him guys talk easier if they are givin' something to talk about. Hope all goes well!

I really need an answer to this math brain teaser/problem. The problem is: Teams A, B, and C play each other once. A won one game and scored a total of four points. B scored a total of three points and there were NO points scored against it. One of C's games was a tie, and C scored a total of two points. Find the score of each game.
