this is kinda long..
so theres this guy that i really like. hes a freshman and im a sophomore and he is 6 months younger than me so i dont mind the age. anyway, we are becoming really good friends but i really really like him but i dont know if i should tell him. hes mormon and i dont know if his family believes in no dating until the age of 16. i do know that hes made out with a girl before so i dont know if that means anything. but i dont want to lose him either.
i was thinking of maybe saying this..
"hey i think im starting to like you but i still want to get to know you more and i dont want our friendship to get awkward"
should i say this? or rephrase it somehow?
i really want to get to know him more and maybe find out if he likes me. but i dont want our friendship to get awkward because i see him almost everyday. oh and id say the message over text because i really cant do it in person

i would ask him if he has dated anyone before or if his parents let him date yet. Then that should tell u if you can ask him or not. What you thought of saying i don't think i would say it as a text since u and him are close friends just tell him face to face. Hope all goes well!
