But i am still just as jelous and insecure as i was just starting to get in the relationship . Hey. so yea the way your acting is completely natural. The majority of girls are like this. Unfortunetly there isn't a magic cure but I csn give you some things to think about to make you a little more relaxed. First off he loves you and that is apparent because you have been going out for so long. you don't stay with a person for that long if you do not truly love them. This means that the chances of him cheating on you are slim to none because he loves you and wouldn't want to hurt you. also as a guy he probably feels the same sort of jealosy about you when your with other guys. guys are just less likely to express the feeling because the don't want to seem insecure. This is weird. it's like a repeat of what happened to me a year ago. The best thing you can do is and i know your going to get mad at me but, the best thing is to talk to her about it. not straight up say "do you like me I like you" but be smooth about. when your alone with her strike up a casual conversation and then casually ask "so did you really used to like me" when shes says yes just say something like "It's funny cause i really liked you but just never worked up the courage to ask you out". After this the conversation will naturally progress. you'll know the right thing to say. if it doesn't get you two together then it will certainly give her something to think about. eventually she may open up to you about her true feelings. this is really really clique but thers an old saying that says"The quickest way to get from one place to another is always a straight line" I hope this helped a little:)

Yeah this is pretty kiddish. Because I'm almost 17 but how do you know? I've been talking to a number of guys and yet I can't tell which ones really like me or not. Like what are the signals. okay so in general simply talking to a guy will not set off any buzzers. i wish we did but we just don't. to know if a guy likes you, in my opinon, you really have to get to know him well. I know personally that i don't feel comfortable telling a girl i like her unless i trust her enough that if she were to tell me that she didn't like me back it wouldn't be a completely humiliating situation. If you do like a guy definetly flirt big time with him. one of the main reasons us guys usually don't say anything is because we have no idea how the girl feels. if you clearly show a guy that your into him then it may releave some stress and he'll definetly be more open with you about his feelings. hey. i'm really sorry that you are treated this way. it's really unfortunet the so many guys act this way towards girls. it's frustrating because it makes all of us look like dicks and then girls tend to use these generalitys that all guys treat girls like pigs(no offense, it just gets annoying after a while) personally the way a girl looks isn't that big a deal for me. I've met plenty of drop dead girls her are dumber than rocks and they just don't do anything for me cause they seriously lack substance. It's hard to have a real relationship with a girl like that because then a relationship can turn physical and thats pretty worthless. I'm into girls who i can just hang around and feel happy with. someone who will sit down and talk to you. as for the whole male reaction to a good looking girl, it's just the way most of our minds work. It's been proven that while women attach strong emotional values to things like words and images men just don't. At a first glance a girl is a girl. Trust me i wish there were more guys that where complete asses but there aren't. on the positive side it makes your life easier because even though there will always be jerks if you look carefully you can always find at least one guy who will listen to you and genuinly care about you as a person and not as a body. don't give in and keep on dealing with it and when you get to where you want to be in life you can look back at them and realize that you truly accomplished something. So I am 14 and i took your advice that was in order to get more guy friends i should ask them for there numbers etc. and invite them to go places with my friends. All my friends are 15 and we are sophmores my birthday is in december, so i was just wondering what are some good places to go to hang out. I want to interact with them, so I dont want to go to the movies or someplace you can't interact. A lot of people say restaurants but i would rather do something more fun. So if possible can you give me a few places that you feel is a good place to hang out with a group of about 12 people coed! Thanks so much
hmm well i'd say definetly the mall. I don't know why but guys love the mall for the rediculouse shops and girls just love to shops so it's a good place. another good place is definetly just walking around town. just like walking down the streets and oing into different stores, restaurants, etc. also when your walking around town you may come across a place that you may want to hangout at in the future. I know some of my friends spend alot of time at starbucks while the rest spend time outside a cvs. it all depends on where you live and the environment that surrounds you. and of course the simplest place is just at someones house. you could even use a perons house as a starting place and just head out from there. plus someone is bound to suggest something. Me and my boyfriend have been going out for almost two weeks, I know that's not long but we havn't even kissed yet and we're both shy.
We've madeout before but that was at a party when we were drunk and it was before we were going out.
And it's really weird cause it's almost like we're not going out cause we hardly act like it.

hey so first of definetly don't give up on him cause it sounds like you two could end up having a great, long lasting relationship:) second of the shyness problem can be solved pretty easily. all you two have to do,and it's a little cleque, is talk to each other. lay your feelings out so that you both know how the other one feels. your shyness is comeing from the fact that subconciously you don't know his feelings and therefore can't correctly respond with the appropriate action. for example if you knew that he was madly in love with you then there would be no reason to be embarresed about kissing him or holding his hand because no matter what you do even if for some reason he wasn't ready for a kiss he would still love you. so yea don't worry about it. i know i've always been like this and it has always helped to hear the other person say just how much they like me. What is your opinion on long distance relationships? I've been going out for my boyfriend for 4 months and in October he's going to college (I'm a grade below him at school) and he will be gone for the following periods of time:
early Oct - early Dec
Late Jan - early March
early April - late May
and then back for the whole summer (after which I will hopefully be going to the same college as him).
I do love my boyfriend, he hasn't said it back to me yet but from what I've gathered he's prepared to do this whole long-distance thing. I'm just wondering whether you feel it is doomed to fail or not, because a lot of people have expressed surprise that I've wanted to do this. Thanks! x
hey so yea keep up the long distance relationships. alot of people assume they won't work but thats because long distance relationships require work from both the boyfriend and the girlfriend. they are very rewarding cause each time you see the person it's like "hey i haven't seen you in a while. we have so much to catch up on". these realtionships,if worked out tend to last longer in my opinion because there is never a loss of interest. my longest relationship was 8 months and it was long distance and my current relationship is long distance. I think that if your willing to make it work then it will work and from what i hear your willing to make it work. so definetly keep it up. Hope this helped:)

Okay, this is a question for guys to answer. I put it in this catergory because putting it in the relationships catergory just didn't seem right.
My boyfriends birthday is coming up, we've been together for a year and half. Normally on the gift giving holidays I get him a video game or something else techy ( he's a self declared gamer. I just call him a nerd). I've lareadt reserved the game I'm getting him, but I wangt to do somrthing sexy for him. I have been with my boyfriend for over two years now. He's always been so good to me and I love him so much.
A couple weeks ago, I went on his computer and saw that he left a comment on this girl's picture saying how beautiful she was. I can't explain it, but this literally broke my heart. Probably because it was so unlike him to do something like that. I confronted him about it and he said it didn't mean anything and it wasn't a big deal and he was sorry. I believe him. I really do. But I can't understand why it still hurts me so much to think about it. It still kills me inside even though he really didn't do anything that horrible. Sometimes when I'm talking to him I'll remember what he did and I'll get upset about it all over again and he doesn't understand why it's such a big deal.
Can anyone explain why I can't get through this? I don't want our relationship to all of a sudden be bad over a stupid comment.
it is possible that the reason this is probably bothering you so much is that subconciously you feel threatened. see for a guy, telling a girl that shes beautiful is just that. it's a complament and nothings it meant by it. for a girl the word beautiful has a more serious personal meaning. it's been proven that while girls attach emotional values to certain words without thinking about it guys do not. I think maybe if you put a dab of red it would go great with the blonde and brown. not so much that you have a red head but enough that you can notice it. as for length i'd go for like maybe 2 or 3 inches below the bottom of the ears. Hope this helped a little:)

hey. first off clingy isn't exactlly a bad thing so don't beat yourself up about it. it just another way of saying that for one reason or another you get nervouse that you need your boyfriend around at all times. usually being clingy can come from a few things. the main cause of being clingy is usually the fear that you might lose that person or that if your not around them all the time they may forget about you. thats fine and it's perfectly normal. what you have to understand is that guys feels the same and that it's just normal.the only way to stop is to really convince yourself that he won't leave which is hard but if you really try it can definetly be done.I hope this helped a little:)

I would have to say that i believe him and although that doesn't make what he did right it certainly makes it less wrong. this guy sounds like he really cares about you and is willing to stick it out through hard times. What men do when they drink is stuff the most of the time we regret. I'm sure the decisions he made that night would not have happened if he was not drunk. it perfectly understandable for you to be mad and even he'll understand that but unless it happens again i would keep working at the relationship.I hope this helps:)

Well there is definetly the possibility that he doesn't realize you want to know that he notices. as guys were really not the greatest at reading emotions and feelings and responding to them in the way that we should. the male and the female way of thinking is very different. it's been shown that while women usually connect alot of issues to emotions men see things as finite. We see our girlfriends being amazing girlfriends too us and we think"wow she's an amazing girlfriend" unfortunetly most of the time thats as far as it goes. we don't get to the point where we realize we should aknowledge you for it. So I really wouldn't worry about it.theres no doubt in my mind that your boyfriend loves you alot and completely appreciates the things you do but doesn't realize that you want to hear him say it or show it. OK, my boyfriend went to the Navy a few days ago, and i have cried for about 3 days straight and just today i have barly cried. and i'm really sad because i do not get too see him or talk to him for 2 months, only write.

right off the bat i'm going to tell you that no matter what happens when he comes back his feelings for you are going to be amazingly strong just like yours are going to be amazingly strong for him.you have to realize that he misses you just as much as you miss him and he loves you alot for really being there for him and waiting for him to come home. try to keep yourself occupied. go out alot and do stuff with your friends and try not to think about it to much. remember just because your mind was taken off him for one day does not mean that he will stop loving you. also now you have something to look foward too. imagine what it will feel like when he gets back. i think it's a little bit harder because it's the navy which is scaary to think about. imagine he's somewhere else and that he'll be perfectly fine. all in all 2 months can go by pretty quickly if your not careful and he'll be back before you know it.
