I'm starting out as a freshman in high school. I have no idea what eyeliner color is great on caramel tan skin or what brand name I should get for any eye liner thats noticable.. but not too visable. Just right for nice face but not over done. any ideas?
I looked it up in the Teen People celebrity beauty guide (seeing as I wouldn't know off the top of my head - i'm pale as pale can be lol.) and for light olive skin I would try a dark brown eyeliner - but if your skin is darker I would try black. Also - for my eyeliner (i don't use it unless i'm going to like, a party or something lol.) I use maybelline new york expert eye. Try that in your shade of eyeliner. Good luck =)

my friend-lets call her jamie, and my other friend, lets call her janice and i have become REALLY close this month and last! like REALLY CLOSE!
so we had a sleepover the other day at jamies house and everything. then we went to my house l8er that nite (this was 2 days ago). we talk every day and stuff. so we were going to sleepover janices house tonite but i didnt hear anything else about it.
well something fishy just happened and i asked jamie if janice was with her and shes like "y" so i told her wut i thought. jamies exact words were: yea shes with me because her mom needed sum wer 4 her to go" this was over text messaging. i didnt answer them. this was like 5 mins ago. but anyway, wut the hell because i live right down the street from janice, but jamie lives 15 minutes away from us! this REALLY REALLY hurts my feelings like i want to cry. im like tearing as i right this.
tomorrow, were all going to this party and stuff together and i was going to see if janice wanted to carpool cause the party is like 30 mins away. but now im mad at them. but i AM going to the party. im just crying now because my feelings didnt get hurt, they got BROKEN!

Wow hon, I'm not really sure exactly what to say. But friends are real backstabbers if you ask me ='(. Well what I think you should do is just tell your friends exactly how you feel. And I mean exactly. I'm sure your friends didn't realize that they were backstabbing/hurting you, they just decided to hang out and didn't think about including you. Don't label yourself first of all. If you want to be "normal" with your friends, then be normal. I used to think this "popular" girl was a real snob, and I didn't like her at all. I'm kind of a geeky kid in my school XD..but anyways. Me and this girl, we went to the same summer camp this year. We became really good friends, and I saw things from her point of view. She told me she didn't like being the "cool" kid, cause everyone in our school thought she was a snob because of random rumors and stuff. So my suggestion would be, get to know a geek if you're a "cool" kid. Cause once people see you're not really as snobby as your reputation is or whatever, you'll be happier. Cause my friend is happier now that she doesn't hang with the "cool" crew anymore and started to hang with me and my friends and other kids. Hope I could help you! =)

Alright, here's my problem. I operate on a Windows 95. I have been for years. I only operate on it because my parents are cheapies and won't let me purchase an upgrade. So, I am stuck with a Windows 95, Pentium I processor, 64 MB ram, and IE 4.0, and unable to download/upgrade anything I haver because they require Windows 98 or something.
Anyways, it works fine except for the essense of evil. Google Ads. For some reason, these ads crash my computer whenever they begin loading. I mean, I got onto this site because it didn't have an ad up when I arrived, but sometimes it does and I have to quickly press the X button or my computer crashes.
I tried to block all pictures, but they are text ads. I don't know how to get rid of them, as they are a constant pain.
Please help. How do I get rid of Google Ads?

Ok, so there's this girl who I REALLY love (real love, not "is she hot"), and she knows I like her, and I want to ask her out in a special way... not just "Hey, will you go out with me?" No. No way. I want something special like they did in Bye Bye Birdie (except her name has no rhymes or puns, and I'm the worst songwriter in existence). If it helps, it's my first time asking someone out, I can't do it in person because all the classes we have together, we're on opposite sides of the room, and I'm an insanely shy person. I would do like the scavenger hunt thing that Taylor and Alex did for Jason and Talan on Laguna beach when they asked them to the winter formal. They wrote them a little note in a spot they knew they would find, and had the guys go to different places to find "clues". When they got to the end of the scavenger hunt, they were on the beach where they found 2 really really big cardboard boxes - which guess what - had the girls in them holding "WINTER FORMAL?" signs. Something like that would be cute. Otherwise I like soccer_crazii 's ideas hope i helped =)

Alright well I have these 2 differant groups of friends. One of my friends, Laura, is like this rocker/ punk and likes rock like HIM and The Used and she got me really into it. So now I'm all rocker-ish and wear like BMX shirts and a beany hat and everything and I really like this new apperance. (I used to be preppy) It's not like my attitude has changed or anything and I'm definately not going to go out and do pot or anything like that. But then my other group of friends are more like normal. They're not preppy or fall under a particular group. I love them all both the same and my other best friend, Jess, thinks that I'm going down the wrong path and I'm going to wind up in trouble. Him and this other guy I'm friends with are whispering and talking about me behind my back and saying how I've gone punk. And I don't want to be punk because I really haven't changed and I just don't want to be known as a punk. Jess also says that if I don't change back to the "old" me then he doesn't know he wants to be my friend anymore. This hurts because I'm best friends with both Jess and Laura. I want to stay how I am but how can I show Jess and my other friends I really haven't changed and how can I make them just accept the new me?

Ok, about two years ago, I intorduced this girl in my neighborhood to my two best freinds. (who are also in my neighborhood) well the girl totally used me to get to them... so to make a long story short they are best freinds (those three) and I am not even part of it. My best best freind from that group never includes me she won't even say can we invite Jen? (not my real name) So that bothers me... anyway, I saw on one of their away messeges it said out to eat with my loves...m&m meaning these two other girls one in which who used me. I felt a paion of jeliousy... i mean i don't hang out with them that much anymore, but I just hink I am maybe jalious becasue the girl stole them from me... we all go to the same bus stop. and well, the only one I have seen all summer is my best best freind from teh grupo for like three days. Last year they kind of discluded me and now I think maybe they will disclude me even more and belive me, non of them will try to make me not feel that way. Well they DO NOT sound like best friends to me. This kind of thing happened to me last year between me and my 2 best friends Katie and Julie. When I introducted them to the new girl, Amy, (who was my new next door neighbor), they all ditched me for a weekend sleepover only a week later! They made fun of me together, hung out without me, and more mean things. I'm not friends with any of them anymore. I have made new and better friends that respect me, and I think you should do that too. I feel like I'm a better person without that gang bringing me down ;) Good luck hon. I'm thinking about doing babysitting and I want to do it cheap because some of the parents that want to hire me told me that they would need a new babysitter 'cause it costs so much to find quality daycare... and I don't think I am quality if I'm just starting out... so should I like ask the lady for lessons or sumthin' or what tips do u have? I also need some advice on how much to charge. Thanks bunches.
I charge 3$ an hour and add 1$ per extra kid (for example: if i was babysitting 2 kids it would be 4$ a hour, or if i was babysitting 3 kids, it would be 5$ an hour.) When I first started out I took the Red Cross Babysitting course (it costs your parents around 50$-60$) which you learn CPR and first aid, etc. in. More parents are likely to hire you if you are certified and would know what to do in an emergengy =)

Now next year for high school i have to decide where i want to go. ILL RATE 5'S NO MATTER WHAT!
I met this guy last week who was really interested in me but I wasn’t as interested in him(I was “talking” to one of his friends). Well we hooked up that weekend and told me he likes me. He called me everyday this week and I started to realize I liked him too and he asked me out on Thursday. Well we hung out this weekend and I started to REALLY like him but he didn’t treat me like a girlfriend at all. When we were with his friends he showed no affection whatsoever but when we were alone he would hug me and hold my hand and stuff. I talked to one of his best friends about it and he told me he would talk to him. On Saturday night my boyfriend called me and told me we should go back to just “talking” because he felt we were moving too fast and that going out with someone is a big step to him. I talked to his best friend and his best friend told me that he was the kind of guy who only showed affection when him and his gf are alone. He told me that my bf still really likes me but wants to slow things down. We were supposed to hang out on Sunday even though we aren’t goin out(he said we are still going to talk and hang out) but he called me and pretended like we never made plans of hanging out. I don’t know what I should do because I really like him (I’ve dated many guys this summer/school year but I’ve liked him the most and I think it’s because I feel like we actually connect).. should I go after him even though he could be leading me on? Or should I just forgot about him even though maybe we can make things work out?
I would suggest just doing what you think is right. If you want to chase after him - go for it. If your heart is telling you no - back off. I personally think that you like him enough to chase him but do what you want hon =)

Well I have both. And I personally think that a puppy is the better choice because it is a living thing and is always there for you. They can give you unconditional love whenever you're feeling down. They love you no matter what you do. And since you have a computer already, you don't really NEED a laptop. I would definetly choose the puppy =) Good luck

Well they are all mostly the same. The only real difference is that "dating" isn't as serious of a relationship as "bf/gf". It's mostly like you go on dates with more than one person, but you could be dating just one person. Kinda hard to explain. lol.
