My friend has a cut on her face. I asked her how she got it, but she refused to tell me. I asked her a few more times after that but gave up because she said she couldn't say.
What I am scared is that she's cutting herself, or that her parents are abusive. I can't think of anything other than that, that would be so bad you wouldn't want to tell anyone (or be allowed to). I first thought it was her cat that scratched her but I think she would have told me.
OR.. maybe its really nothing bad and she's just looking for attention. But aside from all of that--what should I do? I am really worried about her and wish I knew why and how she got the cut. (Its a scrape, on her face) (link)

It wouldn't be her cutting herself, that's for almost sure.
I used to cut myself-- but I did it on my arms and thighs. Cutting your face is not only really noticeable, it's odvious that's what it is.
When you cut, it's usually [NOT always, though] a straight line, from left to right and it's deeper than a scrape. Scrapes don't break the skin, cutting does.
It sounds like something her cat could've done. If you've noticed something like that before I'd be more concerned about it. The next time you stay at her house, observe the way her parents act around her.
Are they agressive sounding or anything of that sort? That might give some kind of clue.
If you see it getting worse or her getting more of them, tell someone you trust [your mom, your teacher, school nurse, older sibling, anybody you know you can talk to.]

But I've learned in my experience, with right click prevention, some web sites you can just highlite and click control c [it's the same as copying-just without the right clicking]

I personally agree with TiNA_DUH's opinion--
but when you find yourself attracted to girls, when you find yourself 'looking' at girls the way you'd look at boys [like, checking out their boobs, butt, etc.] then that's a sign.

Well... seeing as this questions been up for atleast twenty four hours and no ones answered it.. I'll give it a go.
There isn't a set number of times you should pee or crap a day, that I'm aware of. Pee when your bladders full. [the more you drink, the more you pee, and the less yellow your pee will be] My doctor said to always try to drink enough so that your pee isn't like--bright yellow, because that means you aren't cleaning out your system well enough.
As for crapping--um, like, once a day or every other day? Eh, whenever you get the urge to, I suppose.

hi! im skiing [for the first time] this weekend thru my high schools' ski club :S well thats not much time to do any long-term preparations or anything, but i just thought i would post in case anyone wanted to give me advice about workin' it on the bunny hill or whatever :D
does anyone have any tips about starting skiing for the first time? i dont really know what to expect and its probably going to suck, because, well, im going to suck. lol. oh well. suggestions/tips appreciated as well as personal experiences :D thanks so much! (link)

Aw, i love skiing...Not that I do it much, down here in Florida, but I've spent SEVERAL spring breaks and winter breaks up north skiing.
Remember that your poles are your best friends, even if you hate them in the beginning.
To STOP or SLOW yourself DOWN, point your toes together--the more you do it, the slower you'll go until you stop.
And keep warm and have fun--most importantly.

how come i only look in one of my eyes? like sometimes it helps if i only look in my left eye, because it has better vision than my right.. and close up when i look with my right eye its pretty blurry, unless i REALLy get up close and personal with the text. i can also read it okay-ish when its faraway... weird. whats your diagnosis? i used to have glasses but even so my right eye vision still wouldnt entirely be clear.. im gonna see a eye doctor when i can.. but like... yeah.

Go to the doctor. When I was about ten years old, I had to get glasses because in one eye I was near sighted; the other I was far sighted.

Hello everyone. I am a first time flier and I am worried about the security check thing. We are flying with Southwest if that helps any. I know most of the rules and I've visted the TSA website but I'm still a bit confused.
1. Can I carry on a camera, my makeup, and my cellphone?
My main concern is make-up.
2. If I decide to put my make-up in my luggage (the luggage they throw around) and it goes through the scanner thing, and they see it, would they open my luggage, exposing my clothes and everything to take the make-up out?
3. If anything liquid or gel is in my luggage will they take it out?
4. If I dont want them to throw away anything or confinscate anything should I put it in my luggage?
5. I also read that the checked baggage screening can damage undeveloped film, does that include the memory card of a digital camera?
6. Also, what about purfume? That is flammable. Would they raid my luggage to retrieve that as well?
7. Could I pack an underwire bra in my luggage and they wont touch it? (link)

My brother just flew home from Missouri [to Jacksonville] within the last two days and said that it really wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be--you just had to make sure that if you took lotion or anything on with you, it'd half to be in like, 3 oz bottles or something of that sort.

I'm going on a flight tomorrow and I'm curious as to how big Southwest's seats are. I'm not in first class, I imagine we have coach seats but I don't travel often and I find most airplane seats to be a bit uncomfortable and not having enough room. Well, you haven't really given much information in your question--
All we know about you is that you're female. If you're an older female it could mean something--or if you're just a teenager it could mean something completely different.
BUT, I'm gonna guess and say you're a teenager. Have you had sex? [Penis+vagina=sex, by the way]
If sperm has not come in contact with vagina, then there's no way you can be pregnant.
If you're only like, 13 or 14, or you've started your period within the last five years, then it's fine--all kinds of things affect your cycle, like stress and diet and excersize.
If I were you, don't worry about it.
But you might want to remember to give a little bit more about yourself the next time you ask questions. :]

Nah, he's not 'controlling' until he starts telling you that you need to stop being friends with certain people. He odviously cares alot for you and is sincere about what he says--
Tell him to trust you. You chose to be his girlfriend for a reason- because you like HIM; AND you've odviously continued to like HIM, because you've been faithful to him and have stayed his girlfriend.
If he can't trust you, then I don't know what to tell you. All good relationships are based on trust.

I've never heard about a 2nd generation or anything. I have a silver [4 gb] nano and it doesn't. As far as I know, only the video iPods will play videos, even though there is a category for them on your nano.

I've tried Wight Watchers and the most I lost was 10 lbs but then I stopped because I couldn't handle the temptation. How can I get down to a flat stomache? I can't resist that well. How long will it take?

Kay, so it's really hard, I know, to resist cafeteria food. I completely agree with you there.
Although some people are totally against it long term, Adkins is supposed to work wonders for quickly dropping pounds.
My mom actually went on Adkins for about six months and lost a total of like, 45 pounds.
The first week you try to each NO MORE than 20 carbs a day.
She doesn't really eat much breakfast, maybe a bowl of cereal, depending on the brand, then a large salad with low carb dressing [or lemon juice--that works too] and chicken [NOT fried. baked.] for dinner.
The second and third weeks are when each few days you allow yourself a few more carbs, to check if you are gaining weight. If you gain weight after you allow yourself ten more carbs--then don't each those ten more carbs.
If you don't gain weight with those ten carbs--that's ten more that you can eat. :]
A big side note is that WATER has ZERO carbs, fats, cals, but is VERY good for you. make sure you drink PLENTY of it.
remember, 'diets' like adkins aren't meant for lifetimes--that's not good for your system.
Eating healthy and excersize is the only lifelong, safe diet.
As for the flast tummy-- I'll let you know about that when I can manage to get one.

so i have a boyfriend. he loves me and tells my im amazing/gorgeous/beautiful and everything a girl loves to hear on a regular basis. we've been together over a year. he says he loves my body. the thing is, i dont love it. at all. i mean yeah i have big boobs but thats about it. im overweight (5'9" about 251 lbs, size 18 pants and 3x shirt). im completely disgusted with my body but somehow he finds me beautiful and almost has me thinking maybe its true. but how do i see myself the way he sees me? i believe that he thinks so but im just like "ugh...why?". he wants me to be self confident but its like i just cant. im ahnee on advicenators if you want a pic (its small though) (link)
