myspace

Question Posted Thursday January 11 2007, 12:17 am

Do a lot of people on MySpace have trackers (codes that allow you to see who's visited your MySpace)? I'm a little concerned about my privacy. Is there a way I can get myself to not show up on trackers when I visit a person's page.

Trust me, you have nothing to worry about. Suprisingly, most of them do not even work. And the trackers that do work, do not have your profile on there. So you have nothing to worry about. :)

most dont work. the few that do, only work if you also have the tracker in your profile, so you have nothing to worry about.

No worries. :]
None of them actually work--not to mention they're against myspace rules. It's just another stupid thing to get people more friends on myspace.

well most (if not all) myspace tracking systems don't actually track who exactly visits your page, just the time they visited and your listed location. I read on one site that myspace searches for programs that are trying to figure out how to specifically track people and shuts them down, for privacy reasons. so i wouldnt worry about it too much
