My name is Devin Lindsey or Vinny as my sister calls me! I am 17 years old and go to Bethel Park High school. I loooove swimming along with dancing, singing, and playing softball. I also run varsity track with is alright i supose too.

I've had a job working for 15+ monthes so I can answer alot about that

and I know alot about relationships in general so I can be helpful with that sometimes

especially with parent child relationships


I am a very observant person and tend to know more and care about more than most my age


and I really believe in volunteering to help animals especially at shelters. Usually its not their fault that they have to live their and its usually horrible cercimstances that bring them there and I feel terrible that they can't speak for themselves and people are too caught up in spending like $500 on this cute little pure breed puppy from a breeder just into getting rich instead of giving one of these dogs another chance at life (there are usually a handful of dogs under a year old so the i want a puppy excuse doesn't work with me)

My baby is named Lainey Mae... we got her from a shelter about 2 hours away from us when she was 7 weeks old. she is now 2 years old and the center of our family. unfortunately someone was cruel enough to go down and drug up and shoot (but luckly not kill) most of the dogs plus rob the owner (just like someone did at the shelter where I volunteer) and its now shut down

ok so this is like my 5th period and i've never had cramps really bad. today im having really bad cramps. whats the best thing to do, to stop the pain? its unbarable!

Ok I kinda have a strange question, but I'm going to ask anyway. If you did butt excercises every day, would that make your butt get any bigger? Like, would it build up the muscles in your butt, so that it would appear bigger? And if that's true, what kind of excercises could I do to do that? Thank you soooo much!

it would make it firmer and maybe a little bigger but really not enough to notice.. if you need ideas try yoga!

Ok so I shave likea almost every 2days....sometimes everday. I have some questions:
1. How many times must you use a disposable shaver?
2. Is soap good for shaving?
3. When I shave I always use St. Ives Whipped Silk for Extra Dry skin and wen I'm finished it absorbs relly fast and it gets dry again so I was guessin to put more. Should I? And if not what is another best cream to put on ur legs?

1) i change mine about once a week.. really you only need to change it once it is dull... most i would say change it atleast every 2 weeks or so

2) soap is better than nothing but using shaving cream or condition (which is the best to use accually) are better

3) putting more may not make it better.. your better off just moisturizing afterwards

Hi! I just recently bought a knit top and mini skirt from Forever21, and now that I have tried it on at home, I don't really like it. Is there any way that I can get a refund and get my money back? it should be fully returnable.. take it back to the store with the reciept and tags on and you should get all of your money back

I am going to my 8th grade dinner dance and its supposed to be totally formal but not like im going to the prom and im so picky and i dont want to spend too much money where should i go what should i wear?

my recommendation is go to macys! they have totally cute dresses for under $75 and they are kinda like prom dresses but shorter and not as formal but yet formal..like i fell in love with this one yesterday i want for homecoming and it was only $60 (that is really good for a formal dress)

hey i was just wondering if it's bad to keep your contacts in for more than a day. if it is, then why? if it's not, then how long can you leave it in with out taking it out for? like how many days?

it depends on your brand. i have night and days and i can leave them in for 30 days and nights straight.. most cotacts they recoment you taking them out everyday but if you keep them in only one or 2 nights my eye doctor said they should be just fine (just very dry)

my parents will not let me get a cell phone! i said i would pay the bill every month and also i need it! i am sick of using the dumb broken pay phone at school literally everyday to call my parents.. and when im places with friends and etc im embarrsesed cause i always have to use their phones or use, yay, A PAY PHONE! even my friends that have the most strictest old fashion parents have cell phones! how can i convince my parents that i really need a cell phone!

convince them to let you get a prepade virgin mobile phone it is perfect let me tell you! you dont even need a parent to sign for it and if you dont want it anymore then you are done no ending contracts or having to put mins on everymonth.. you but them on whenever you feel (it says every 3 monthes atleast but that is untrue) my parents wont let me get a good phone with a plan either but they thought it was a good idea for me.. showthem how great it is! my parents even let my 12 year old sister get one too and they are super strict and old fashion as well!

well yes i gues you can.. well not arrested but fined! but if you dont share your music you download (you have to go into a special file and click that) then they can never do anything to you!

nope not at all. well if you are over the age of 16 it is legal for you to have sex with anyone and if you under that its up to 2 years older than you (if you were curious)

anyways really you can have sex all you want! there arent sex police out there or anything. basically the only way he can get introuble is if you sue him claiming he raped you or whatever or your parents want to press charges.

ok so prom's coming up and im a sophomore and my boyfreind (whos a junior) is taking me. I just dont know what kind of dress to get....short or long or what?

cuz like i know long is for homecoming and short for winterfest/sadies...whatever...but i havent been to prom yet soo any help?

i would go for long...think wedding dress in fun colors! if you are totally unsure get something like you wear for homecoming. most prom dresses are like homecoming but alot are a little more poofier i guess you could say and overdone.. but it depends on your school. thats the way schools in my area are but yours could be like the ones on laguna beach and just wear like spring dresses to prom and me only semi formal!

im having a bit of make up trouble. some people wear tons of makeup, and look really good, and some people just plain over do it. I know i dont over do it. sisnce i only put on:

lip gloss
foundation
concealer

& thats all. but i want to look pretty. without looking like some circus clown. and ideas on what to put on and how to do it? no web sites please :)

check out kohl's makeup selection.. that has stuff that has a pretty shimmer to it but doesn't look over done... like they have a gold shimmer eye liner and my younger sister with light skin and light hair looks great with it on and yet doesnt look over done and it works well for me too and im well the opposite! if you send me a pic of you i would be more than happy to give suggestions!

well veggies and milk will help your teeth out! (maybe not make them much better but will keep them from getting yellow)

and you cant make yuor breasts larger but you can do crutches and pushups and what not to tone them!

nope there is no way to get it back! unless of course you think you know who has it you can get a barcode scan on it and stuff like that but in reality you have no chance of getting it back. they dont have devices to scan everyone that goes bys

I've been ill with a cold/cough/bronchial infection of some sort, but I didn't go to a doctor. Over the past three days I've been taking robitussin during the day and codeine syrup before bed. I've been getting plenty of rest, I've been drinking OJ to help boost my immune system and hot tea with honey to soothe my throat, and I have been staying home from school and not partaking in any strenuous activity. I even have a humidifier in my room on full blast nonstop. I feel fine now -- all exhaustion and dizziness is gone and my throat only hurts in the mornings -- but I have this horrible tickle in my throat that makes me cough ALL DAY LONG and I simply cannot get rid of it. I also have been unable to conquer my runny nose. Any tips??

well basically i went to the doctor and they said for the most part the best way to get rid of a cough is just let the cough come out aka dont use cough surup unless its urgent! also try throat drops(they will numb though throat and help with the cough). also try tea and eat chichen soup if you can

If I have money, and I break a drawer at home, in California, is it illegal for my parents to take money that I earned from my job and spend it on repairing the drawer?

well because your a minor i believe they can.. really they can make you do whatever they want unless you file charges against him. if you broke it they have every right to take your money to repair it

I was thinking about walking the dog for 20-45 minutes. Mostly around 30 min. How much do you think i should charge?

well first i would say maybe charge per half hour (because some dogs require walks around and hour or more and some only need 30 mins or less)

i would charge like $5 per 30 min or a med. size dog
$6 per 30 min for a large dog
and like $3 per 30 min for a dog under 20 pounds or whatever

and on the papers i would include your first name age phone # and just put reasonable rates (incase you want to chage your rates later) also include clip art and maybe a cute doggy poem or something. JUST DONT INCLUDE YOUR ADDRESS because you never know who may see that

i would post them where ever you can.. libraries pet stores parents work go door to door giving out flyers.. whatever you can do!

Is it better for me to condition (moisturize) my hair while it is wet or dry?

well i do it wet (while im in the shower)

and while its towel drying (the leave in stuff)

as far as i know you are never supose to do it while its dry. if you use the leave in stuff you are supose to do it while your hair is still wet or damp but when your out of the shower


i recommend doing both if you can
