Words of advice on love:
- Don't ever let someone tell you that you are not in love.
- If you say that you THINK you're in love, then you aren't. If you really feel it, then you are.
- Never let someone judge your relationship unless they know FACTS.
- To me, age is not an issue. If you are 13 and dating a 30 year old, then it's a big deal. If it's 5 or 6 years, not a big deal.
- If you are being abused mentally/physically GET OUT OF THE RELATIONSHIP! Don't give the excuse that he apologized. If he loves you he wouldn't do that to you.

whats the difference between foundation and concealer

Foundation you put all over your face as a "base" for all of your make up, blush, pressed powder, bronzer, etc.

Concealer is used under the eyes to make your eyes not have huge dark circles under them. It makes them seem brighter and makes you look less tired.

I know for a fact that when it comes to math, I'm pretty slow. Today was the first day of school, and I have a math assignment but I'm very confused. It's a fraction paper. One side was really easy for me but this side I'm just not getting.

-1 1/4 + -2 1/2 =
I keep getting -2 1/4, but there's a list of answers (in a different order) at the side of the paper, and my friend told me the answer was 3 3/4.

Can someone help me with this problem? I don't seem to understand what I'm doing wrong.

-1 1/4 + -2 1/2 = -3/4 + -3/2 = -3/4 + -6/4 = -9/4 = -2 1/4

Well two negatives equal a positive. So forget that there's a negative sign infront of each.


1+2= 3 (SOOO HARD)


1/4 + 2/4 (which is equal to 1/2)= 3/4.



So your answer is 3 3/4. Your friend was right =)

Well the point of going to a movie is to WATCH the movie. So next time you go to "see" a movie, make sure it's not one you really wanted to see. Maybe whisper in his ear like I love you and stuff like that and kiss his earlobe (guys LOVE it trust me). Kiss him on the neck and on the cheek and stuff.... That's pretty much all you can do without him going up your shirt or you going down his pants.



And keep it clean... It's a movie theater. People can be kicked out for making out in the movies. I've seen it happen plenty of times.

While picking out clothes to wear to school tomorrow, I noticed my sweaters in the back of my closet, and began to wonder if it was okay to wear them yet. The temperature has been averaging about 75 degrees here, but it's VERY cold in school...So, since it's after Labor Day, is it okay to wear sweaters yet?

Sometimes if I can't fall asleep at night- I'll drink one or two smirnoffs, or a mikes hard lemonade, and then I pass right out. I don't do this often and I know I don't have a problem. I'm most definitely not an alcholic- I know my limits and I'm not irresponsible. I was just wondering if anyone knows a better way to get some sleep without having to drink. I'm scared of sleeping pills, so those aren't an option. Thanks.

Yeah.. Sleeping pills CAN seem scary sometimes. However, if you talk to your doctor, he/she could suggest a sleeping AID. Not a sleeping pill. They may suggest an over the counter one such as Tylenol PM, or they may prescribe something for you such as Lunesta. But you should talk to your doctor, tell them what's been going on (Except for the drinking part..) Tell him/her you can't sleep at night, how hard it is for you to fall asleep, times you'll go to bed, how long you'll lay in bed before finally dozing off, etc. But definately try to talk to your doctor. If not, I suggest Tylenol PM. I use it alot because I the same trouble you do. It puts me out in about 20-30 minutes. And it isn't as harsh as an actual sleeping pill. That's why it's O-T-C. (over the counter).

Well, for starters just give it a few days and try to "rekindle" the relationship to see if there is something still there FOR YOU. If you feel that you want to be with him just ask him if he'd want to take another shot at a relationship. Who knows... It could turn out to be something great!

According to a BMI (body mass index) calculator, you are a 22.5. In order to be over weight you have to be at 25.0, and underweight would be 18.5 or below. So you are pretty much average.

Not to insult you, but there is no way of dressing like Paris Hilton and looking conservative.


Anyway, the best places to go are little boutiques in the City. If there isn't a city near you (like Manhattan or Bergenline), you could go to your regular mall and go into G+G (or Rave Girls), Limited Too, Charlotte Russe, Mandee, Joyce Leslie, Forever 21 or Weather Vane.


They have really cute clothes that aren't too expensive. You can find 00's (if that's your size) in pretty much all of those stores, and X-Small sizes.

In my opinion, you are wayyy young to be having sex. When you're 14, you are at such a vulnerable age and you get too emotionally attached. So, what would happen if you two broke up? I just went to the salon to get my hair cut and they used these really great products on me. I looked at the price and a bottle of serum was 25 dollars!! I want my hair to be silky and smooth. Are there any shampoo and conditioner products that are not that expensive and make your hair silky?

Try Pantene Pro-V smooth and sleek (or silky I don't remember) It has a little bit of green on the bottle.


I use it and I have INSANELY thick and frizzy hair. I use that and it realllly hepls.

Also I use this hair serum by brilliant brunette (I'm a brunette obviously) and they have the same thing for blondes (John Frieda makes it) It's in a small bottle. You should be able to find it with no problems if you look for The Brilliant Brunette and the Blonde hair products by John Frieda. That also helps to smooth out the hair and make it less frizzy and keep it that way longer.

How do u get a belly button ring out? its a hoop... Just a hoop and a bead..

Is it the one they put in right when you get your bellybutton pierced? If so, you need two sets of plyers, one on one end of the bead, one on the other and pull them both at the same time. Be VERY careful, because you could end up ripping the ring out of your stomach. But to be on the safe side, if you go to where you got it done, they can take it out for you.
