I am a couch potato of 16 and have been since I was 11. Thanks in advance if you have any idea on how I can get in shape. Is there a plan I can follow, like walk 30 minutes for two weeks before starting to jog or?

Well good for you for wanting to get in shape!
What I suggest you do is start walking like 30 minutes a day, and then start increascing the distance and time like everyweek. It helps a lot. If you want to work out your abs, do crunches and sit ups, but dont do too many, do them in reps.

How do you make a nacho bean and cheese salsa dip? I'm not sure entirely what I am talking about. The bean is like light brown and mushed and underneath it is a layer of melted cheese and salsa? My memory is bad.. has anyone eaten this kind of thing before?

i have to run over the summer to get fit for field hockey (out coach said to) and i haven't done anything. i'm too lazy, but it's also been raining here and i have a little cold and i don't have a tredmil. what should i do?

If you have stairs run up and down those,
it builds calf muscles as well.
Try googling stairs exercises.

Or run in the rain,
most people do,
and get yourself motivated.

This is actually a REALLY important question. Well, for me anyway. I know that this doesn't match up to scuicide and stuff, but i rate 5's for nearly any answer.
I don't mind if you say that this picture is not a good one. As long as your honest, you get a 5. I would love to have answers that explain how that picture may or may not be good.

Does anyone know where I can get "Savlon wound wash" in the states/California? Someone told me to get it for my piercing (it's infected...), but she's from the UK, and I don't know how to find it except for on the Internet...

If its that infected, they can give medication or some kind of ointment.

But if you refuse to do that, the only places you can proably get stuff at is at a hair salon where they peirce ears or something, its usually pretty high quality.

ive got a boyfriend that i have been with for about 3 nd a half months. he has the oppurtunity to move to italy and europe and i live in new zealand. i love him and is my first love and am so cut up about it. i really need help on how to deal with it. i dont want any1 else and we will have to break up becoz long distance relationships are just to hard. hes going for his racing and may have to go for years. help please. i am almost 15. please dont say im to young for having a bf coz ive already heard it from other people.

Well I agree with what Jazzy said below.
And I dont care if you dont want to hear that you're too young. Its not that your too young, but its that he isnt your love, your not going to marry him. Because you almost being 15, you ahve so many more oppertunites coming up.
So dont dwell on him, first boyfriends usually arent permanent.

You can still love him, but if he needs to leave, the best thing to do would be break up, and start trying ot get over him, he isnt the only guy for you.

And I know since your 14 you probably wont see it the way I'm trying to explain it to you, because your not capeable of seeing it that way.
But just remember there are always other people out there.

Does anyone know of any good bands/song I can put on my iPOD? I'm getting tired of all the bands I have. I'm mostly into indie/rock/acoustic/some ska/oldies.

I like Death Cab, The Postal Service, The Audition, The Higher, Panic!, Further Seems Forever, Dashboard Confessional, Hidden in Plain View, Taking Back Sunday etc. Preferably bands that you know and that aren't on the radio.

I am really confused what to do. Long time ago when I was 13, I met a guy who had a crush on me. It developed until I felt the same way. that guy was 3 years older than me and he felt I was too young so he decided not to pursue anything beyond friends.

Now I am 19. I've moved on with the other though it really hurt because i love him so much until now. I have accepted the facts that we are not meant to be. I met this awesome guy. He really loves me more than anything else in the world. Because of this love from him, I want to be with him because i know he will make me happy. So, I am with him right now. Not long ago, the guy I met 6 years ago and I started chatting online. then, he told me that he loves me and he is willing to wait for me. I am in overseas studying so we only communicate through email/chatting. I know i love him more than the guy I am with right now. But I know for sure that the guy I am with right now loves me more than the guy i met 6 years ago. What should I do? Should I stay with the guy I am with right now? or should I go with the guy I've been waiting for all my teenage years? I'm not even sure if the guy i met 6 years ago is serious or just playing around. I dont want to get hurt from him anymore because it's so hard to move on. I have never loved anyone as much as I love him. please help.

I honestly think you should stay with the guy you are with now. If he's hurt you in the past, what makes you think he wont stop? I highly suggest, in my opinion, you dont get with him.
Stay with your current boyfriend, but it sounds like the way you are writing this is that you want us to tell you to go with the other guy.
With you saying "I have never loved anyone as much as I love him" your implying you want people to say, go for him!
But I think its unfair to your current boyfriend, its kind of cheating, the fact the this other guy confesed he likes you, he cantjust suddenly do that, and expect you to leave your relationship for him you know?
Thats the way I see it.

Well if your mother doesnt know you have one, that coudl be a problem.
But if you really care for him, it shouldnt be awkward to talk to her about him.

If your old enough and the realationship actually has a chance to go somewhere. (not if your in middle school though.) then you should be able to talk to your mother about it,

Okay, well you might not want to hear this,
but most relationships at that age dont last, beacuse we are still emotionally growing, and mentally, and when the years to come start happening, we change, a lot.
Making out isnt bad, but you need to be careful.
Because it is a fact that you cant makeout and not feel anything afterwords. Making out infuses your emotions and your desire to have sex. So you should be careful, especially the rolling around kissing part you mentioned, because it could lead to other things, as a mistake. It doesnt matter how long you've made out, or how many times, its just how you feel, and how it makes you feel. Know your limit, and be careful.

You cant ask this on advicanators, well I mean obviously you can.

But you cant expect specific answers,
everyones body is different,
so we wont know when you will see results.

Most likely you wont see results, just losing a couple pounds, but that really doesnt show that much. Now you can just watch what you eat, not like a physco, but you should know whats generally healthy and whats not, eat healthy, and exercise, the best advice anyone can give.

well i'm not to good with computers, but i know a little about them. i have a farely new computer (maybe 2 years old if that) and i just started noticing a problem with it displaying pictures. i have only noticed it on myspace. i have two animations on my myspace page (www.myspace.com/musicxdance if you want to look) they are a picture slideshow, and the little picture that shows the title and artist of the song playing and lets you play and pause the music. both of those animations show up at red X's on my computer, but they show up fine and work on my sister's computer and my family's computer downstairs. so i think it has something to do with the internet on my computer but i don't know how to fix this and it is really starting to bother me

Ok so i wear a little make up... you know cover up and a little mascara but i want to wear eyeliner and stuff. Heres my problem everytime i try to put it on i feel like i'm doing it wrong and i just stop. and i have really uneven skin and i never can get it all covered up without looking bad...can you help me out?

Ok well I would try bare essentials, it hides skin irritations, skin flaws, etc stuff like that, so it should cover your uneven skin.
And eyeliner, why do you think your doing it wrong? Are you putting it right under your eye and stretching the top lid when you put the top on?

Hi there, well, basically I just wanted to know if this guy that I fancy likes me back. You see, he's a waiter in my local pub and he's quite good friends with my dad. Now, I started liking him about a week ago. He talked to me for the first time. Actually, it wasn't like a proper conversation, he just said 'alrite, trouble?' I know, it's wasn't much but we both laughed. Anyway, I keep catching him glancing at me. Like one time, I went to the bar (to help my mum with the drinks) and as he was getting something behind the bar, he looked up at me and had this expression on his face like he was gonna say something. I just walked away because I wasn't sure what he was doing, I wasn't gonna stand there and look like a total idiot, waiting for him to talk to me but he had this look on his face like he was happy to see me or something. Now, he's caught me staring at him and I've caught him staring at me. I just get the feeling he likes me, you know, woman's instinct maybe but I don't want to base everything on what I feel because I've been wrong about this stuff in the past but this guy is older than guys I usually waste my time on. He's not a silly little high school boy, he's about 22 I reckon. So please help me out, I fancy the pants off him but I don't know where to start. I'm kind of shy when it comes to things like this and I'm getting the impression that he is too. What should I do? Should I tell my dad and maybe he'll tell him how I feel? Thanks.

Well if he's twenty two, careful.
And the only way to know if someone likes you is to ask him. It sounds like he possibly could like you, but then again it sounds like he's being polite and friendly. You know?
Start talking to him, you'll be able to clarify things in your head then.
