Question:
I have a trojan virus on my cpu I downloaded a software to remove it but when I attempt to run it it says I am not the administrator and for me to contact my network admin. I tried contacting my internet company and they cant help me. Is there anything else I can do from home to get rid of this virus.
My Answer:
Here are a few free antivirus programs that you can use, just download, install, and scan your computer with one of them:
Avira: http://www.free-av.de/en/products/1/avira_antivir_personal__free_antivirus.html
Avast: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
AVG: http://free.avg.com/us-en/download-avg-anti-virus-free-edition
Comparing to Avast, Avira has higher detection rate, but its free version pops up advertisement whenever it updates; and occasionally (once or twice every three months or so), it fails to update its definition.
Avast has adequate detection rate and has NO advertisement whatsoever as of now. You can install and choose more skins for it, too.
AVG . . . I've never used AVG before so I have no comment on it. My school has it though, and I find that it has really nice GUI, but I am not sure about its performance--at least not from personal experience.
---------------------------------
Alternatively, you can also download Hijackthis from http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/
Install it. Then right click on it and choose "Run as Administrator"
Choose "Do a system scan and save a log file"
If you post the log file on here or send the log file to someone who can read it, and they will be able to help you remove the malware (or as you call it, "trojan virus"). I can help you with it, too.
---------------------------------
Reason why you have that administrator problem:
On Windows computers (most likely you are using a Windows OS, though I am not sure whether you are using Windows XP, Vista, or 7), there are two types of accounts--standard account (limited) and admin account (administrator). A network admin, in this case, does NOT mean your ISP (internet service provider), it means the person who have the administrative permission on that computer.
Perhaps you were on a standard account when you tried to run the program. Either that or something had limited your access, such as the UAC (User Account Control) of Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Of course, I cannot be sure because you never give a single useful detail in your question. Do you have a screenshot of the problem? What are the symptoms? Do you have access to an admin account? What is your computer's OS (operating system)? What is the software that you downloaded but failed to run? How did you know that it is a virus? Are you sure that it is not just simply a spyware or an adware? How good are you with computers? Do you have a Hijackthis log of your computer?
When asking a computer-related question, including those kind of information would be really appreciated. Without such information, all we can do is blindly trying to help--it's really unfavorable to both you and us =)
Hope this helps,

Question:
How much cum does it take to get pregnant?
I mean can it be a little bit or does there have to be a lot of cum to make you pregnant?
My Answer:
Theoretically, one single spermatozoon (matured sperm cell) has the potential to make you pregnant.
Generally, there are about 50 million to 500 million sperm per "cum" (or ejaculation, whatever you want to call it).
Even pre-cum (the clear and colorless fluid that comes out when the man is sexually aroused, pre-ejaculatory fluid, pre-ejaculate, blah blah blah, whatever you want to call it) has the potential to get you pregnant. It is because after a recent ejaculation, not all of the sperms are gone--some may still be left in the urethra. (Urinating after ejaculations will flush the urethra of leftover sperms.)
-------------------------------
Once the sperms enter the woman's body, some will die on their own, while others will be kill by the woman's acidic mucus. Eventually the mucus will change and assist the remaining sperms to survive a little bit longer. And finally, only one sperm reaches the egg--one out of millions of sperms, with some exceptions (which are when you get twin or triplet, or something like that).
So, if your question is "How much cum does it take to get pregnant?"
then allow me to ask you this, "How much luck do you have?"
Hope this helps,
Ng2491 =)
Question:
I'm finally in a serious relationship again, and I've been spending a lot of time with my boyfriend. We appear to be getting closer to sex, and I thought I'd buy some condoms myself. You know, just in case...but not in a "suggestive" way.I know that he has them, we were talking about it a few weeks back, but then I thought that if he sleeps over at my place...it might be reasonable that I have some in my night stand, seeing as he keeps most of his in his night stand. What do you think? And how judgemental are people about females buying condoms? I'm planning to go to a drug store or maybe at the supermarket. If any of you work in a shop, what do you think?
Thanks, much appreciated.
(16, female)
My Answer:
Usually we, the cashiers, don't care what you bought or took; all we care about is get over with it ASAP and hope our shift ends soon. Just act like normal and you'll be fine; we really don't care. Don't be too self-conscious.
-------------------------
That being said, however, I've seen some other cases:
--Some people go to the self-checkout lane and check it out themselves.
--I noticed that some people buy some other stuffs as they buy the condoms, too, though I've never understand why. I mean, a pack of gum and random junk food aren't going to render the condom invisible. It's probably make more sense if the person might as well buy duct tape, robe, a gun, and a shovel (e-hem, just a joke, don't try that, lol).
--Some cashiers--usually the old ones--might give you a funny look (believe it or not, this happens), just simply ignore them. However, if you are the type who gets embarrass easily, I suggest you go to a younger cashier (twenty-something or less years old); apparently the new generation view sex "slightly" different than the old generation.
--Some cashiers--usually guys (I am included =P)--might chuckle a little bit, or make the whistling sound. Don't worry about us, we just want to mess around sometimes, hahaha. If this happens, simply say, "Hey, it's better than the morning-after pill," or, "Aww, so a girl has never done this to you?"
(These don't happen often though, so you could careless. Just act like normal.)
Question:
I need to stretch the power of my wireless internet how do i do that. or can i get another wireless router and hook them both up. If so how do i do that
My Answer:
I am not sure how far you want to extend your wireless network's range so here are some "shots in the dark."
The answer is yes, that is certainly one of the solutions, but there are other alternatives as well. And here are some of the alternatives that you can try before adding another router:
1. Adjust the Antennas -- They're there for a reason, not just for decoration. Try adjusting the antennas--you might be surprise at the result.
2. Change the Channel -- If your neighbor has a wireless network and also uses the same channel as you, then inevitably the two signals will affect each other. There are three standard channels: 1, 6, and 11. Try changing your channel to one of those and see if there's improvement.
3. Change the Location of Your Router -- If your router is behind a concrete wall or right next to your TV, karaoke sets, etc., then you probably want to move it elsewhere.
4. Upgrade to 802.11n -- If you still have the old 802.11g or 802.11b, it's probably time to move on to 802.11n. It offers longer range (about double), faster speed, and more stability (crashes less often).
5. Buy a Wireless Range Extender -- I would recommend that you buy the ones that were made by the same company that made your router, because if you buy it from another company, it might not work or work fairly poorly. If you want to drastically increase your router's range, then I definitely would recommend either upgrade to 802.11n or get a wireless range extender.
Those are the only methods that I know of, as of now. DangerNerd and Theymos probably will be able to help you more. I suggest you direct this question to one of them as well =)
Question:
Is there any way possible for me to completly remove active security from my computer for free?
My Answer:
There are two ways to do this: an automatic way and a manual way. I am not sure how good you are with computers so let's go with the easier way, which is have a program remove it for you, rather than do it yourself.
If you want to do it manually, I will need to know what your OS (operating system) is. Is it Windows XP or Vista, or something else?
Anyway, here we go:
Download Malwarebytes the Free Version from http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Once downloaded, close ALL active programs, including your web browser. Then Install and update Malwarebytes (I'll assume that you have no trouble doing this)
Now run a scan with Malwarebytes ("Perform a quick scan" option should be sufficient).
Once the scan is finished, click on the "Show Results" button and it will present you the result. Choose "remove selected" to remove most traces of malwares on your computer.
Now, let's check whether the problem is solved. Close Malwarebytes and reboot your computer.
Download Hijackthis from http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/
Install it. Then right click on it and choose "Run as Administrator"
Choose "Do a system scan and save a log file"
It should takes less than 30 seconds for Hijackthis to finish the scan. Post the log file on here or send it to my email. From there we can remove what Malwarebytes missed, for examples: registry entries and leftover files.

Do you have an antivirus program installed on your computer? If you do NOT, then it's probably a good idea to get one to reduce the chances of this from happening again. If you don't have the money, there are a few free antivirus programs that you can use:
Avira: http://www.free-av.de/en/products/1/avira_antivir_personal__free_antivirus.html
Avast: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html

Question:
Hey there!
I accidentally installed this "Websearch" program on my computer, so basically when I open up Firefox, instead of Google, Websearch starts. I really don't like it because it has a toolbar on the top full of annoying applications plus its bogging down my computer, making it very slow.
How can I get rid of this?
My Answer:
Reply to Your Feedback:
May I see the Hijackthis log of your computer, please? If it is inconvenient to post it on here, you can email me at ng2491(at)sent(dot)com
You can download Hijackthis from here: http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/
-----------------------------------------------
Original Answer:
So . . . any screenshot? What exactly is this "Websearch" program that you are talking about? What is the name of this "Webserach" program? How did you get it on your computer? What is your operating system (e.g. Windows XP or Windows Vista)? What is/are your web browser(s)?
We seriously need more information in order to solve this completely.
I am guessing that you are talking about "MyWebSearch," because it does sound like it in your question. But if I am wrong, please do tell me. Anyway, to completely remove MyWebsearch, there are two steps that you need to take first:
First:
1. Control Panel--->Add/Remove Programs--->uninstall the followings:
WebSearch Toolbar
WebSearch Tools
Search Assistant
Win-Tools Easy Installer
FunWebProducts
MyWaySpeedbar
(You might not see all of them, depending on how you have gotten it on your computer, but just uninstall the ones that you see and you should be fine.)
(Do NOT reboot your computer until you had removed the last one. So for example, if you see four of those, uninstall all four of them and then reboot.)
Second:
2. Download, install, and run Hijackthis: http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/
It will give you a log; please send that log to me so that I can tell you what to remove next--which will include folders, leftover files, browsing histories (includes cookies and caches), and registry entries.
Again, it will be extremely helpful if you can provide more information :-)
Question:
http://www.advicenators.com/qview.php?q=572791
Did the term UK come about because Ireland does not consider themselves.. or associate themselves with England? We never learned much history in school besides American history. I think the Irish were prisoners sent away from England to this place which later became Ireland (separated from England) when they gained independence?
If so, what is the significance of Northern Ireland and why the distinction from the rest of Ireland? I'm still a little confused.
so Britain = same thing as Great Britain?
and England is a subcategory of Great Britain/Britain, which is a subcategory of the UK?
Thanks for all your help!
Do you know anything about the different accents?
Like, is a Cockney accent a regional accent in England like in America we have Southern accents and then different kinds of New York accents?
And is the term "British accent" wrong because usually ppl are referring to the English accent? And they are usually talking about the main accent like in America the general population has the trans-Atlantic/Appalachian accent or something?
My Answer:
Well, "Northern Ireland" is different from "Ireland," kind of like North Korea and South Korea. And I don't know. Like you, I live in the USA, and I took AP US History last year so . . . again, like you, I know more about US history than European. I don't know the answer to that question.
All I know is that Ireland and Northern Ireland used to be ONE country. Britain was in control of it for a period of time, then part of Ireland broke away and became an independent country. A small part of it--Northern Ireland--remains under the influence of Britain until today, though it does have its own government and flag.
How accurate is this? Fairly low. That's just the general idea; I don't know much detail about it.
Yes, Britain is "Great Britain," just like United Kingdom is actually "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland." We just like shorten things to make our lives easier (e.g. United States is actually "United States of America").
Yes, you are right on that. Here's a chart to make things clearer: http://i954.photobucket.com/albums/ae22/Ng2491/Charts/UK_Format.gif
(I like to use charts and images because I am a visual person--I don't cope well with walls of texts, hahaha.)
I don't know the answer to these questions either, but the term "British accent" is not wrong because all countries of Great Britain--England, Scotland, and Wales--have English as their official and most widely used language.
To compare the two accents, go to "TheFreeDictionary" and type in any word; it will give you two samples of a general American accent and British accent that you can listen to. Here's an example with the word "better": http://www.thefreedictionary.com/better
Question:
whats the difference between the united kingdom, britain, and england?
My Answer:
According to what I see on the screen here, you are living in the USA, correct?
Well, this case is very similar to what happens to the USA. A lot of times, you would hear people refer to the USA as "America," right? It's the same issue with England and UK.
So with that in mind:
United Kingdom (UK) = United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Great Britain (Britain) = England, Scotland and Wales (part of United Kingdom)
England = a country (part of Great Britain, which is part of UK)
And here's map to make things clearer:
http://i954.photobucket.com/albums/ae22/Ng2491/UK_Map.gif
Question:
is the group kaskade lesbian or bi ? because in their song 'angel on my shoulder' they say 'beautiful lady, will you come and save me?...etc'
thanks !
My Answer:
I think you are mistaking "Kaskade" with "Cascada."
Cascada = Manian + Yanou + Natalie (the female singer)
Kaskade = The male DJ (not even a group, only one person)
And as mentioned in the previous answer by the other columnist, genders doesn't matter in songs; if the singer wants, he or she can easily slightly change the context to suit the necessity.
Then there are singers who prefers to keep the original context without changing anything at all. Does that make him or her gay or lesbian? Definitely NOT! Don't over-analyze small details--you don't "assume" a person's sexuality just based on one or two words. When I play karaoke with my friends, sometimes I forget to change the "noun classes," but it seems that none of them "assume" that I am gay.
When a person sings, he or she is the actor, and the song is the script. Just as a good actor will realistically act out the movie script, a good singer will have no discomfort sing out the song and put some emotion in it.
Question:
I went to this site to DL these skins for WMP and none of them worked when I transfered them into WMP. So where can I DL some that work. Here is the site I got them from, and this is also a site that a few pages linked me to...
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/skins2.aspx
If they do work and I just did something wrong, please let me know that too, cause I did like a lot of these skins and some of them I had before Windows got all skimpy with their skin choices...and I did follow the instructions.
Thanks
My Answer:
They work just fine for me. I am using Windows Vista, with Windows Media Player 11.
I went to the page that you've provided and downloaded a skin, then I double clicked on it to install it.
Then I go to View--->Skin Chooser, and choose the skin I want.
Screenshot: http://i954.photobucket.com/albums/ae22/Ng2491/Screenshots/WMPSkinHowto01.png ,
or you can also do this: http://i954.photobucket.com/albums/ae22/Ng2491/Screenshots/WMPSkinHowto02.png
And here's what my WMP looks like after applying the new skin: http://i954.photobucket.com/albums/ae22/Ng2491/Screenshots/WMPSkinFrostbite01.png
If you still unable to install new skins for your WMP, you can ask this question again (either directly to me or to the entire site) but this time, please include the following information:
1. What is your Windows Media Player version (7, 8, 9, 10, or 11)?
2. What was the skin that you were trying to download (just the name is good enough)?
3. What is your web browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) and your operating system (XP, Vista, or 7, etc.)?
Hope this helps,

Question:
whenever i try & upload photos on myspace a window from iexplore.exe - application error
pops up and says:
the instructrion at 0x0fa50068 referenced memory at 0x0fa50068. the memory could not be 'written'
click in OK to terminate the program
click CANCEL to debug the program
what is this? is it because if iexplore.exe? ( i dont even know what that is?!)
i installed JAVA but that didnt work either :/
My Answer:
"The instructrion at 0x0fa50068 referenced memory at 0x0fa50068" basically means that it is trying to do something multiple times at one exact moment and at one exact place (in this case, the instruction at the executing address attempts to write multiple times at the exact same memory block that it is executing); "the memory could not be 'written'" means it could not be done.
Well, something like that; hopefully it make sense. Trying to interpret computer language into human language isn't something I am good at, since I don't know much about computer.
"iexplore.exe" is basically Internet Explorer--that's the standard web browser that comes with your Windows OS. And since you were (and probably are) using IE, I suppose that your OS is Windows.
Anyway, I've no exact idea why this happens--only possibilities. I have a few questions:
1. Does this happen only with MySpace uploader or does it happen anywhere else? Have you tried using a different web browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera, or something else)? Do you encounter the same problem when using a different web browser? (Let's hope that it's NOT a hardware problem.)
2. Have this ever happen before? Can you run a system restore?
3. Okay, you said that you've installed your Java. So, what is your current Java version?
4. We know that you are using Windows OS. But what Windows? Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or something else?
5. Is your computer up-to-date? And what was the last 3 things that you installed on your computer (e.g. a toolbar, some program, anything at all)?
Temporarily, you can try use the old uploader. Screenshot: http://i954.photobucket.com/albums/ae22/Ng2491/Screenshots/MySpaceUploaderv01aGIF.gif
Or on your computer, go to control panel, find where you can manage user accounts, and create a new user account. Test to see if you encounter the same problem on that new user account.
Question:
I'm writing a paper for school and I'm quite confused with what I'm finding online, so if anyone knows, please help!
Is it legal for a restaurant to record conversations the people are having and have them playing in the back where the food is prepared. If the purpose is to get the order faster (allowing the chef to hear the order and get started while the waiter is taking it down to get a heads start) but still being able to hear any part of the couples conversation, would this be considered legal or illegal?
I'm leaning towards illegal. Any ideas? Please & Thank you!
My Answer:
Now this may be different depending on which of the 50 states of the USA that you are living in. I am not familiar with the laws of all 50 of them (actually, I don't even know all the laws of my own state) so I cannot say for sure. I suggest that you check on your state's local laws for this. So with that in mind, here we go:
Generally speaking, it is depending on the reasonable expectation of privacy of the customers.
Case #1: If the restaurant is a buffet, bar, fast food restaurant, or just about any kind of normal restaurants where the owner of the restaurant does NOT guarantee privacy, then it is totally LEGAL to record both audio and video. You are stepping into the restaurant knowing that there's no guarantee of such privacy.
Case #2: If it is one of those restaurants that are designed for couples to come and privately enjoy their dinner date (you know, with some softening music in the background and some dim, illuminating lights, whatever), where customers are separated so that they cannot see each other or cannot hear each other (or both) once they sat down at the table (unless someone yelled out loud), then it is typically legal to record the video but NOT the audio. The owner, under this setting, is guaranteeing some sort of privacy to his customers. But again, this might be different depending on each state.
Stepping into a restaurant or any kind of business and offices at all is just like visiting a website or a forum. By entering and using their service, you are agree to their term of service. A small business or in this case, a restaurant, is consider as a private business property--it doesn't give the owner the freedom like with his house, but it doesn't restrict him like with a public property either. The owner sure does have the privilege ("the privilege," NOT "the right") to monitor all actions within his property and justify it as "for the purpose of crime prevention." However, he doesn't have the privilege to monitor the restroom or changing room because that would surely violate your privacy, especially if you are women. This is business-to-customer relation, NOT person-to-person relation. The laws where they restrict the person who is NOT involved in the conversation from recording the conversation does NOT apply here.
It's the same with your emails and private messages, you know. All of which are being keep in a database, and when necessary, the owners of the service can pull them out anytime they want, without the needs of getting your consent.
Again, I suggest you to talk about this with your law teacher or a lawyer. They know about laws much more than anyone on here, and certainly a lot more than I am. Oh and since we are speaking of law, all of the contents in this answer are copyrighted by me at the moment I typed them; all rights are reserved. That means if anyone copy and paste it somewhere else WITHOUT at least modifying it by 10%, I can sue him/her. Isn't law fun? xD ~lol
Hope this helps,

Question:
Simple question, I guess. My friend says it's 70 but I heard it was like 75 or 80. Does anyone know what the average life expectancy is right now? We're in the United States so that might be a factor, right?
My Answer:
The best place to find this kind of information is the CIA's World Fact Book ( https://www.cia.gov/ ). It provides you up-to-date information on most (if not all) of the countries in the world.
For example, according to the 2009 estimation, the USA's life expectancy is:
male: 75.65 years
female: 80.69 years
average is 78.11 years, rank 50th in the world.
Link: (click on "People" bar, under "life expectancy" section) https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/us.html
If you want to see life expectancy of other countries, then go to: https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2102rank.html
Click on the name of the country, then go down to the "People" bar, and find the "Life Expectancy" section. You can even download the data.
With this, you will be able to assure yourself that your information is fairly accurate. And if your friend doubt you, you can say that "hey, I've gotten this info from CIA (Central Intelligent Agency)."
Hope this helps,

Question:
I need a really cheap or free photo editing software program to help me alter my photos to look really good. I know Photoshop is suppose to be the best but I can't afford Photoshop so I'm looking for like a Photoshop ripoff, I guess. This girl at my school uses one program (I don't know which one) to amke her skin flawless and perfect. I want to do this too for my senior photos and stuff. Which program is the best and where can I find it?
My Answer:
The GIMP is without a doubt the best free image editor available as of now. But like Photoshop, it takes months to learn how to use all the tools and techniques.
You can get GIMP from here: http://www.gimp.org/
For you, I think Photoscape suit your needs more. It is a good basic image editor that includes most of the basic functions, a gif animator, a batch editor, and a few more useful tools. You can also run filters and add frames, text, shapes, call-out boxes, and other objects to your image. It is very user-friendly and would not take you more than ten minutes to get used to the interface.
Photoscape: http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php
For other free image editors, go to: http://ng2491.wordpress.com/2009/07/17/free-image-editors/
Also, just a side note, it doesn't matter what image editor you use; what matters is how you use it. If you don't know how to apply the effects and control the colors, even Photoshop is useless.
Hope this helps,

Question:
my friend gave her boyfriend head, and he has cancer, testicular cancer he already had one nut removed and when she gave him head she swallowed he is going through chemotherapy .. is there any danger in swallowing his cum everyone told her it was bad because all the drugs he had in his system from the chemotherapy, should she be worried or is she fine?
My Answer:
There's one good news and one bad news. Which one would you like hear (or read) first?
Let's begin with the good news first, shall we?
The good news is that cancer is NOT infectious. Cancer isn't something she should be worry about.
The bad news is that "he IS GOING through chemotherapy" (notice that I emphasized on the present tense). If you really meant what you said (that "he is going through," not "he had went through"), now that . . . IS BAD; and that guy is one stupid idiot bastard that deserves a beat up! (because more than anyone else, he should know that well, and his doctor should have told him, too)
Some of the drugs might have passed onto her via the semen.
I suggest that you tell her to not do that anymore--absolutely no intercourse or fellatio until he gets off the treatment for around 3 days to a week; if they really have to, then use condoms.
Some chemotherapy drugs are different from others, and I don't know much about chemotherapy myself (only the basics), so I cannot really tell you accurately what the possible effects are, or whether it really negatively affects her. I suggest you to have a talk with his doctor or any doctor at all about this for accurate information (I am sure that they will be glad to answer such questions for free; all you need to do is give them a phone call, that's it).
Hope this helps,
Ng2491 :-)
Question:
I was thinking of starting an early Christmas gift round this week but I don't want to seem stupid in the lines when I buy lots of Christmas presents for my friends and family. I want to beat the holiday rush and I don't see WHY it would be wrong to buy now but I don't know if I'm missing something. Is it too soon to start my holiday Christmas shopping or should I wait a little longer before I start buying gifts? What do you think and why?
My Answer:
It's never too soon to buy presents for any occasion, whether it's birthday, Christmas or something else. You buy them, leave them somewhere in your home; and when the time come, give them out. They are still new and haven't been used yet--good as new. It's rather a good habit because you have more time to make your decision and sometimes you can get a cheaper deal.
It's what I used to do, too. When I see something on sale (50% or more), I'll just go ahead and buy it. I may not have a use for it, but it could work as a present for someone else. In the recent years, however, I've switched to giving gift cards instead of presents. I think just give the money for the person and let him/her decide what to buy is better than giving a present that he/she doesn't like. Some people criticize that it's not very thoughtful, but I think it's better than giving useless junks that the person probably never use anyway--that's not much different from throwing money out of the window.
Question:
well it started a couple of weeks ago, i think i was skatboarding and i tryed a handplant and for a little while after my rib was in a dull ache. it didnt bother me much because i was skating and iv done much wors to myself through it but today i was making breakfast when i coughed and it cracked. as it did so all the muscels tense'd up for a good minute or more...
im still in pain now while writing this and im deffinatly going to make an appointment at the doc's. but have you ever heard of this before?
was a rib muscle out of place and just needed a good crack back in to place?
My Answer:
Go to a doctor ASAP!
Let me repeat that in all caps:
GO SEE A DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
That doesn't mean tomorrow or next weekend; that means as soon as you can. Within a few hours or even minutes if you can.
There's no way I can know for sure, but you may have some fractured ribs. The part where you said "about an hour after asking this im still in great pain, i cant sit up or move in my seat or walk with out it hurting," isn't very appealing to me.
Fractured ribs usually are NOT dangerous if the ribs are just cracked, but if they are broken, then they ARE dangerous because they may damage your internal organs.
I might be wrong (hopefully I am wrong, because having fractured ribs are not fun at all), but it's best to go to a doctor as soon as possible and have an X-Ray check. Again, it might be just your muscles. You should judge for yourself because only you know how the pain is, where you feel the pain, or whether it hurts when you try to breathe (or breathe deeply).
Question:
14-f
im 5'6 and 104 pounds... am i fat??????????????
My Answer:
No, you are not fat. If your "104 pound" is supposed to be "140 pounds," then yeah, that's overweight. But if you meant what you've typed, then no, you are not.
And you are not underweight either. The previous answer by columnist Chakra and the chart that she provided are not wrong, but they're not correct either. It's because that chart is for adults, 18 years or older--you are still a 14-year-old girl. That chart doesn't apply to you for now, maybe 4 years later it will. You can go down to 100 pounds and still not underweight yet.
Just use your own judgement about your body. It's your own body; you should know. If you think you cannot trust your own judgement, ask your mother. She definitely knows.
Question:
I had sex last friday, when do you recommend I take a test?
My Answer:
From what I know, at the longest, the entire process from when the sperm fertilize with the egg to the point where the egg move down to the uterus and stick to the uterine wall, which is when the placenta begins to release hCG into the bloodstream, might take around 14 to 18 days (again, this is at the longest). And from there on, the amount of hCG in your urine will double every few days, which means higher accuracy for the pregnancy test.
So, I would say taking the pregnancy test about 20 days after you have sex will yield a very accurate result. About 10 to 15 days after sex is okay, too, I suppose, since it might help calm down your worry.
The general recommendation is to take the test about a few days (two or thee days) after you've missed your expected period. You can take it before or as soon as your expected period comes, too, but that would have less accuracy. Some tests are different from others so why don't you just read the label?
============================================
I don't know much about pregnancy myself (don't plan to have a child yet, hehehe, maybe later) so for professional and more detail information, or for further information, you can take a look at these two sites:
USH University Health Service: http://www.uhs.umich.edu/pregtest
US Department of Health and Human Services: http://www.womenshealth.gov/faq/pregnancy-tests.cfm
or just ask your doctor.
Hope this helps,

Question:
im a 16 yearold girl and i know this may sound really dumb, but can you get pregnant from masturbating? i know it sounds crazy but i just want to know if there is anyway possible. im not an idiot, im just having pregnancy like symptons, and the only thing ive done is masturbate. so im just a little confused. thanks in advance.
My Answer:
It's IMPOSSIBLE to get pregnant from masturbating unless there is a presence of spermatozoa (matured sperm cells of a male).
Even so, the spermatozoa still need to cross your cervix before they die; out of millions of sperm, only one will fertilize the egg (with very few exceptions). That means even unprotected sex does NOT guarantee 100% chance of pregnancy (because your body will kill off most of the sperm, geez, you girls are so violent, xD hahaha).
Look, there is typically no physical harm done by masturbation, unless you "over do it" or you did it in some "strange" way with "potentially-dangerous" tools.
Here's a good website to visit if you ever have any question about masturbation in the future: http://www.soc.ucsb.edu/sexinfo/category/masturbation-question
That website is part of the Sociology Department of the University of California, Santa Barbara. So you can trust the accuracy of those information.
