Cascada = Manian + Yanou + Natalie (the female singer)
Kaskade = The male DJ (not even a group, only one person)
And as mentioned in the previous answer by the other columnist, genders doesn't matter in songs; if the singer wants, he or she can easily slightly change the context to suit the necessity.
Then there are singers who prefers to keep the original context without changing anything at all. Does that make him or her gay or lesbian? Definitely NOT! Don't over-analyze small details--you don't "assume" a person's sexuality just based on one or two words. When I play karaoke with my friends, sometimes I forget to change the "noun classes," but it seems that none of them "assume" that I am gay.
When a person sings, he or she is the actor, and the song is the script. Just as a good actor will realistically act out the movie script, a good singer will have no discomfort sing out the song and put some emotion in it. [ ThirdQED's advice column | Ask ThirdQED A Question ]

so he is definitely not a lady
When it comes to music in general, don't just base it on the 'he's' and 'hers' but on the context. Some songs switch from the male to female perspective or do a bit of both or sometimes and males and females aren't even people... or females sing about 'hers' and males sing about 'hims' but the context of the song or the original version of the song or the story of the song can still be heterosexual.
