my g/f gets angry sometimes about little dumb things like what movie we go see and she gets real angry and abusive.she likes to throw things and hit me but i dont hit her back i just hold her until she cools off.but it gets tiring and sometimes it hurts.but i dont want to break up with her because i love her.what should i do?

You should sit her down, talk, and ask her whats what is bothing her. Ask her if she is being abusive because she has something on her mind and has no one to talk to about it. Try telling her that her you don't like her abusive ways and want her to stop before it becomes a bad habbit - and if she doesn't stop, just tell her that you can can no longer be together, even though you still love her.

You should see a result almost instantly if you put enough in and stayed out long enough. The chlorine won't effect your hair and putting your hair up in a bun before your hair is dry isn't harmful. Its probably the best thing to do. :)

Hey guys.. My little cousin is turning 16 in January and we really want to help her throw a party, or throw one for her. For my 16th birthday my twin & i just had like a big cookout in out backyard because its in June and its nice. But for January we dont know what to do. Ideas or birthday party stories would be great.

Try throwing a themed birthday party, like a masqarade or 80's theme and have a contest. Or you could rent a hotel and have a pool party. Invite hott guys or its just no fun! ;)

Ok so my parents left town for the weekend and im here with my college cousin. My mom told me not to go to this one guys house but hes having a huge party this weekend. I really want to go but ims cared to death that my mom will find out or something bad will happen and then im screwed for the rest of highschool. should i go or not go?

I wouldn't go, but its your choice. Just because you didn't go to some random party doesn't mean you're going to be some social reject. And moms always find out..I don't know how, they just do.

im asking this question personally because i really like your advice. =) also because i need this kind of fast because its about tonight. i have 2 good friends, but i this summer i have done A LOT more stuff with one friend than the other, idk why. i guess its because more of the plans work out. well, that made the friend that im not doing as much stuff with sad and jealous i guess. i told her we might be able to do something tomorrow, but i remembered that me and the friend that i do stuff with alot already had plans. =/ i dont want to be mean and tell her she cant come over because i have plans with the other girl. i really want to do what me and my friend have plans for. i dont want to bail out on her. idk what to do cause somehow the sad friend will find out that i'm doing something and be even more sad, or maybe even mad at me. =(

Aww, thanks! Don't exclude the other girl. Ask her if she would like to join you and your other friend, or just tell the friend that you've been hanging out with the most that you want to hang out with the other girl because you've been neglecting her a little too much. She'll probably understand. :)

Ok I have a really small plain room and it gets veeeery messy. the amount of space when its CLEAN to walk in is even smaller than a walk-in closet! And I can't move out any of the furniture because they're all nailed into the wall! What can I do to make it less messy and make it look nicer? It's so, well, PLAIN and I'm not even allowed to paint it. I like lava lamps and miniature desk water fountains and things like that if it helps!!!! thanx a lot, I will rate high for anyone who gives a reasonable answer

If you can't pain your walls, maybe try hanging posters, photographs, and mirrors to decorate it. Try bringing in more colors with your bedspread, lamps, and curtains. Go through your room and throw out everything you don't want and have no use for. Try to get more storage bins that can easily be hidden underneath your bed. And since you can't paint your walls, maybe you can talk your parents into letting you paint the furniture? To get all of the little nick-nacks in your way, build shelves to display them. In my room, I bought paper lights that hang from the ceiling. They come in all different shapes and colors and designs. You can get these at Target or Earthbound (if you have one). I hope I helped!

A difference in what? Be more specific! Depending on you're size, how good you do your work-out, and if you're on a diet, the time it takes to see a change could range from 3 weeks to 3 months.

You should be friends with him no matter what. He might like you, since he flirts a lot. But then again, that could just be his personality. Maybe you should have one of your friends ask him if he likes anyone or has anyone in mind. If he likes you, and you like him, why be just friends?!

If the only reason a guy won't go out with you is because you won't make out, then they aren't worth your time. Find a guy who is willing until you're ready to kiss. But, try being a little more flirtatious, like touching them on the arm and giggling at all their crappy jokes that no one could possibly think was funny. :)

Getting your period is not that big of a deal. It sucks, to tell you the truth. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Some girls don't even get their period until they're a senior in high school.

i'm trying not to make this long but I was BEST FRIENDS with this girl Jen until she moved to this really rich neighborhood and got a big head. She started rubbing things in my face, ditching me, and still expected me to be there for her... which i was. I don't know why I was but EVERYONE was. Then one day we all stopped because she got out of control (trying to keep it short). Everyone stopped giving her attention except one person who became her new best friend. I miss the old jen and now that she has a new best friend they are twice as evil. Jen invited me to her b day party and she's been IMing me and acting like her old self so i'm really tempted to go but i don't want to regret anything. we're going to different high schools next year anyways so i don't know if i should end the friendship now or what PLEASE HELP

Tell her how you feel and how you liked the 'old' Jen better. If she values your friendship, she'll go back to normal so you can get back to your friendship. If she insists on being the same way, I would find a new friend and forget about her.

Just because you get angry, doesn't mean that you're PMSing all the time. I'm not comfortable talking about my period either. I just try to ignore my mother and brother when they bring it up..Maybe if you ignore them enough times, they'll stop bringing it up.

I would get them cut to the cheekbone, that way you can go shorter if you wanted to. Besides, I think if you got it any longer, it would get in your face. :)

i am trying to go on a diet and it works for a day then the next day i totally pig out! then i regret it and the process starts over! does anyone have any dieting tips?

Either you're making too much of a change in your diet, you're not sure how to fix foods that keep you full without adding fat. It could also be that you aren't eating enough. Eat what you want, just in smaller portions, and eat more than 3 meals a day. I hope everything works out with your diet!

Ok well im asking this question for a friend of mine because he doesn't know what to do and he asked me and idk. So anyways my friend really likes this girl and he's had a crush on her for almost a year and now she is single. But whenever he asks her who she likes she always tells him "noone" or "nobody" but he doesn't know if she is serious or just doesn't want to tell him. You shouldn't date behind your parents back because if you slipped and got caught, the consequences could be worse and they could become even more strict. But waiting til you are 20? You legally become an adult at the age of 18. They can't keep you from dating once you're legal. Maybe you should try talking to parents into getting them to lower the dating range..Maybe to like 16.

Ok, I want a treadmill, cause i luv running.
The thing is, i'm not rich and from the looks of most treadmills they're REALLY EXPENSIVE!
Does anyone know of a treadmill website or something that has cheap treadmills?

I think buying a tredmill is just a waste. Why not run in place or around the neightborhood and save a couple hundred bucks?
