its because your craving that food that you pig out on the next day. you are telling yourself never to eat again therefore you want it. so instead of going on a huge diet just try to slowly start eating healthy. like maybe the first day no dessert. the second day no dessert and soda. and so on. and dont be one of those people that never has cake or whatever else. just maybe have a dessert once every week and make it fat free ice cream. try this out and tell me how it goes! good luck!

Ok so we all have diets that fail. I'm anti-diet although i go on them. When I go on diets I seem upset and always angry or what not. So this is what you do. 1200 calories a day thats it! And and hour of excercise everyday. I've lost 20 pounds in 3 weeks from going to the gym everyday and juts watching what i was eating. Get a journal and write down everything you eat that day and put the calories down too. Add them up at the end of the day and if your under 1200 or at 1200 your gold. but if your over you need to work on it. you'll get so use to it and it will start working.

hope i helped

Either you're making too much of a change in your diet, you're not sure how to fix foods that keep you full without adding fat. It could also be that you aren't eating enough. Eat what you want, just in smaller portions, and eat more than 3 meals a day. I hope everything works out with your diet!

the best diet tip i can give you is to eat what you want, and when you want it. life is about living- so if youre not eating what you want- then youre killing yourself.not tryin to be harsh- but it's the truth.hope i helped.

It sounds like you're either making too much of a change in your diet, you're simply not eating enough or you're not sure how to fix foods that keep you full without adding fat.

Try simple changes and work your way up. One week, try cutting out fried foods. Once you get used to that, move up to eating more veggies. Taking it in slow steps will help you stick with your diet.

Use portion control and avoid seconds rather than calorie counting. It's easier to stick to something that is simple.

Simply switching to low-fat alternatives will help a lot. Eating lots of low-fat dairy has been proven to help speed weight loss as well as keep the weight off.

If you're not eating enough, try to stay within a healthy calorie range. Eat several small meals a day to keep from getting hungry. Snack on negative-calorie foods as much as you want. They burn more calories digesting than they have in them to begin with. These include apples, asparagus, berries, broccoli, zucchini, pears, cucumber, celery, and many other foods.

There are several diet foods on the market-Lean Cuisine, Weight Watchers, Healthy Choice, Lean Pockets, Michelina's Lean Gourmet, etc. Try replacing just one meal a day with one of the pre-packaged meals. They're often cheaper than a fast-food meal ($2-5 depending on what kind and where you get it)and provide a healthy meal wihtout added fat and calories.

Good luck with your diet.

I used to do that too, but recently I've been eatin a lot healthier. First, don't think of it as a "diet." Try to think of it more as just eating healthier. Can you rule out certain foods? I try to avoid cookies, cake, and chips. If you feel a need to eat fatfull foods, limit yourself to only a little bit. Set a goal weight. Say "I want to weigh (lbs) by (date)" Then next time you want to eat a lot you'll tell yourself not to because you have to get to your goal weight. I've been doing this and I've lost 6 lbs in the last 2 weeks!

PRoviding you cut out the EXTREMELY unhealthy foods, such as WHITE bRead [substitute it with wheat], cake pRoducts, ice cReam, hambuRgeRs, and soda... [if you'Re used to consuming A LOT of it] you can see a MAJOR diffeRence the fiRst two weeks, ALONE. My fRiend did it.. and we weRe both shocked to all hell!

You can find lists of healthy foods at:

As you pRobably alReady know, it's best to eat SEVERAL SMALL poRtions a day. Say, have an apple and a piece of cheese, two houRs lateR have a few cRakeRs, and an houR lateR have one piece of wheat toast, and so on and so foRth, ya know??? Little intakes of food like that givs youR body time to digest it pRopeRly. You see how that's betteR than eating one oR two huge meals a day... because it takes too long to catch up, and it can not buRn the caloRies quick enough, and then just quits, adding body fat.

But of couRse weight loss takes time.... you just have to stay committed, and have the dRive to keep it up. TRy to keep youRself busy... and sleep as often as possible... these things keep youR mind busy and off food. I can't Really say how long it will take; I suppose that diffeRs fRom peRson to peRson. It Really just depends on how much weight you'Re looking to shed. I'd say you could lose 10 to 20 pounds in a month; that's veRy possible, though you DO NOT need to lose that much!! It is still my opinion you aRe at peRfect weight as is!!

Goodluck to you though!! Hopefully I've been of some assistance heRe!!

i am the same way. i'm always like *okay today i'm totally going to eat healthy food, and not much of it* but then i see something that looks good, and i eat it. most of the time however, i just try not to eat at all. you don't want to do that though, because then you might end up anorexic, and that is no good! what you might want to try is, have pictures of girls you want to look like, (their bodies) laying around to remind you that you don't want to eat 2 pieces of cake, or an extra helping of dinner. get people to encourage you to only eat healthy food. it's not that hard really! all you have to do is, try your best to eat food that is good for you. look at the carbs, and sodium of foods! don't eat as much as you normally would, (if it's a lot), and exercise! you have to exercise if you lose weight and want to keep it off! Good Luck!
