Walking a mile and 100 crunches isnt much of a variety. Try jogging the mile and then work up to 2 miles and go a little faster. Crunches are a different story...a regular crunch only works your upper abs. If you looking to flatten your stomach then do different ab workouts. You could try the leg lift, flutter kick, and backward crunches to work different muscles and flatten your stomach.

you DONT need to eat less. Never stop eating or eat less to lose weight or look better b/c when u eat less you body realizes its not getting the normal amount of food and starts to store the food you eat as fat...and once you start eating normal again you body wont be use to it and it will store all of that food and you will gain weight. And also eat healthy...like lay off on the fattening stuff and eat fruit for sweets.

If you want to tone your whole body you could also do some pushups and squats too. Its always good to keep your heart beating fast so you could also do some cardio workouts like on machines or something..

Hope i helped <3

A difference in what? Be more specific! Depending on you're size, how good you do your work-out, and if you're on a diet, the time it takes to see a change could range from 3 weeks to 3 months.

A difference in...strength? Weight? Size?

Depends on how you are when you start.

If you're "average," a true difference will come within 6 months or a year. Providing, that is, you eat healthy too.

If you are overweight or obese, it will take quite a while to see a difference.

I don't think it is too little or too weak. But its not a way to seriously loose weight or slim down, all you will really do is feel fitter and tighten up a bit. If you have other really unheathly eating or excerise habits, that alone wont really help you very much.

You'll probably feel the difference immediately, you'll sleep better and be sore hehe. But don't expect to see any difference in your body for two or three weeks.

MFS answered Thursday July 21 2005, 9:57 pm:
I would estimate that you'll never see any real difference walking only a mile and doing 100 crunches.

For one, there's no variety in that routine.

Secondly, one mile? C'mon... that's weak... and walking? Try jogging a mile. Then work up to jogging 2 miles... then three.

You want to make an impact on your health/weight/stamina? Then you need to do more than just the bare minimum. What you've proposed here won't get you jack-squat. You need to push yourself somewhat, and pace yourself in an intelligent manner. Do crunches, do sit-ups, do jumping jacks, do lunges, do free weights, walk, jog, run, ride a bike, etc... mix it up and make a real effort at it.

There is a great calorie calculator found at the following site. Just input situps to calculate crunchesIt takes burning 3500 calories to lose 1 pound. It's not really healthy to lose more than 2 pounds a week. Combining exercise with a low-calorie diet will help you see results faster. Drinking plenty of water will also help.

Depends. Walking and doing crunches wont do it for you. I mean you have to eat healthy && have a good diet and crunches and walking will help out. Like I said it depends on your body. You have to stick to it and if you do you should see results in a couple of weeks. ♥//
