okayy well.. im 14 and i think my hips are huge!! but they arent that big, but they stick out alot when im wearing jeans.. my waist is skinny so there fore my hips stick out and i wear a shirt.. normally i'll wear a jacket but its the first day of school and im wearing jeans an a shirt.. which make my hips stick out since my shirt is tight sorta.. soo i dont know.. please help i dont know what to do! HIPS! ahh!! Jeanss i love them but withuot a jacket or sweatshirts my hips stick out horriblely!!!!!!!!!! okay well please help i'll rate high!! [5's]

I don't have a perm, but my best friend did and she told me all about it because I wanted to get my hair permed! Perms can usually cost anywhere around 35$ to about 60$. Depending on where you would get your hair permed at, you really need to call hairdressers around you and find out! Yes, it does look like scrunched hair & you should get products from the hairdresser that will make your hair look all pretty & stuff! It stays for about 3 - 4 months. Well, for my friend it did - but it might vary depending on if you have thick or thin hair & all that stuff!

I want to start using tampons but I know my mom hates them because she just read something about a 14 year old getting that toxic shock syndrom from them. I'm active (like sports) and I'm really getting sick of using pads. I just don't know how to tell her I want to start using them because I'd get a bad reaction plus she's never used them and it'd be awkward asking her. HELP

Woah, that's really weird. I know what you mean, pads really do suck, and I couldn't stand being an athlete & having to wear pads, that must really suck =(

You need to just let your mom know that you're not going to be stupid like other girl teens, and leave tampons in for longer then what their supposed to be in there for. Although, your mom is doing right by protected you from getting TSS, you've got to use them someday, and you're definitely old enough to wear them, no doubt.

If you don't want to tell your mom you could just go behind her back & buy them, get some from friends, or your school nurse? Or maybe, you could talk to a relative like an older sister, cousin, or aunt about them, if you feel more comfortable talking to them about it.

You have to let your mom know that this is bothering you, and you want to start wearing them, of course it's going to be super awkward asking her, but that's how all situations are, just make sure you have stuff to back up why you want to wear tampons, just in case she asks questions! =)

I guess there are horomone pills out there, to make your breasts bigger, but people just say that stuff, it might not actually work, so I don't know, you COULD try it. But, there isn't anything around the house that you can just eat & your boobs can get bigger!

The person under me has absolutely no idea what their talking about, cut out junk food? Dumbass. There's more to face fat then just cut out junk food, what a stupid person. Please don't give them a rating, and if you do, give them a one because their advice really sucked, and cutting out junk food won't help you lost extra fat on your face. =(

Anyways.. =) Sorry about that, I just hate people that say cut out junk food, because just cutting out junk food isn't going to do much.

It depends, if you're overweight, then dieting & exercising can help lose weight on your face area, which you probably already knew.
But if you're skinny, then dieting won't help at all on your face fat.

You'll have to exercise [cardio.] and build some muscle to help speed the weight loss. Eventually you'll lose weight. The weight you'll lose through the face may take a little longer, then everywhere else.

There isn't a certain age to when you should have sex. You should do it if you know all the consequences your getting yourself into, you've found that special someone to give up your virginity to, & your mature enough to handle everything that'll happen after sex. If you do it with someone special that you trust, you won't have to worry about getting STDs, pregnant, or emotionally hurt. Make sure you know that your ready before you do anything like sexual intercourse, & make sure your boyfriend is someone that won't turn his back on you after you two have sex.

I'm 13 female and i haven't kissed anyone yet...is this normal? Most of my friends have kissed someone but i want to wait until i find someone special. Most girls though have their first kiss when they are 12...am I abnormal? Or just plain 'ol me?

You're so normal, lol. & I think it's cool that you're actually waiting to find that certain someone to share your first kiss with. Because, to some people a kiss is nothing, but it really does mean a lot to people. Good job! I think that doing it at a talent show would be GREAT! That's such an awesome idea, you should really do it even if you only have a 2 minute time limit. You should explain at first that your a fashion designer & the clothes that are going to be modeled are created by YOU! Then get a few girls and guys to model everything, and explain all the clothes, like have them go around in a circle, and then have one of them stop in the middle & explain what their wearing. Hopefully you do that, because that's such a cool idea, and you'll definitely stick out with that awesome idea.

I have had my nose pierced for 2 months. My school doesnt allow piercings. I went to a tattoo place to get a nose retainer the clear ring she said I cant use it because it will get stuck in my nose or some b/s like that. Would it be ok if I went ahead and got one? I will rate 5's!

Well, I don't have my nose pierced so I can't really tell if you the clear ring would get stuck in your nose, but it seems highly unlikely. She might just have said that because you can't really see it, and it can get pushed into your nose more & more, without knowing it. You should definitely get one no matter what though, I mean it's worth a try, if you can't have it for school, then you have to take it out, so just try using the clear ring and see if it gets stuck in your nose or whatever.

OK so on wednesday i start highschool. In my geometry there r 4 other freshman(2 best friends, and a set of twins) nd the rest r all snobby sophomores. This means that sometimes, i will have sophomore-junior lunch. Im really nervous about that, cus i dont know who i will sit with. I can just picture myself walking in the cafeteria, with no one to eat my lunch with. What should i do? I cant switch out of my geometry class, and im really sensitive, so i wood be totally bummed. Start talking to the sophmores, or just like be nice to them & they'll be nice back.
I had the same troubles, I just moved schools & I had to sit at lunch by myself for a few days, which is definitely bound to happen, even though you don't want it to. More then likely someone will notice you are sitting alone. Or, if you want just start talking to the twins or something, because they probably won't be the best of friends, and they'll want someone else to hang out with like you. Or, just talk to some of the sophmores in your Geometry class! Even though it'll be hard, it's the ONLY way you will make friends. Trust me, it's not easy & your definitely going to have to word hard for what you want. It was the worst for me, and I wanted to kill myself just because I didn't have one person to sit with at lunch, now I have a couple people to sit by at lunch, and I've only been at school a week. =)

Haha that's so funny. My best friend is like that and I was so afraid she'd steal my best friend [whose a boy] away from me. Luckily he liked me more then her, so he didn't fall in her trap! So, if he likes you more then them, then he should just automatically choose you over them. Make sure you tell him not to hang out with them. & If he does, then he's not worth it.

Well, you need some clips & thats pretty much it. Just take the top part of your hair, like split it in half, and clip it to the top of your head, and then straighten the bottom half, when the bottoms as straight as you want it, then bring down the top layers & straighten that part, and then it should be straight enough!

I seriously don't think you should hang out with this guy anymore. It's stupid that you have to go through what you are. If he liked you, he would be showing all the attention towards you not the other girl. You should definitely tell your boyfriend what his friend is doing. Tell him EVERYTHING, he should talk to him or you could just talk to him yourself! If your boyfriend doesn't stick with you, and seems like he doesn't really care what his best friend is doing, then dump him. Some guys are like that, and it's pathetic, especially since his friend's trying to ruin his happiness.
