My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

Hi, i really like this kid. He's kinda on the popular side, and im just not there yet. Like, the popular people like me and all but its hard talking to them. Well back to the point, i really like this kid and i know you might say "go talk to him!". Its not that easy! Ecspecially for a girl like me. I have liked him since last year, and i IMed him once asking him a question and he asked who i was and said he thinks he knows who i am and answered my question. He's not in the same class as me either. I think he knows i like him cuz of last year someone i think told him or something but i just dont know what to do! Please Help!

Its okay being shy tho. If the popular people like you and all just talk to them more and be more comfident and comftrable. They are just normal people like you so dont worry about it. Try not to be as shy around him. Start of by IMing him more online and after you gets more comftrable talking to him then you can start talkling to him at school or something! this friend of mine, Lizzy*, is in a serious relationship with my other friend, Seth*. Lizzy adores Seth, but I know that he has stopped liking her...even though I am not supposed to know, and Lizzy does not know. The problem is, I adore Seth, and he might like me, but I don't know what to do. If I ask Seth if he likes me at all and he says no it would be really akward, but I can't imagine being happy as just his friend much longer...help?!

Well... if you are really close friend with her I think that you should try to stay out of thieir relationship. You could ask Seth if he likes you and if he says no then dont worry about it. If he does and if he wants to go out with you then maybe you guys could go out lil later on because your friend might be mad and not over him yet. You wouldnt want to loose her over a guy! x0

Hi, im starting to like this kid in my class. Theo only problem is i know this other "almost popular" girl who likes him and is having her friends try to get him to go out with her. Whenever they try to ask him he leaves. Hes not really the popular type in all but im starting to like him. The other girl is really nice and funny, but i dont want to let a lot of people know incase she gets mad. Are you really good friends with this girl? I dont think that you should stop liking him just because some one else does. It dosent even look like he is even interested in that other girl. Im not sure if i should break up with my boyfriend or not. Lately things havent been going good for us. We been going out 3 months by the way. I just got back from a trip and he only texted me twice while I was gone & i just called him to see if he wanted to go somewhere and he didnt barely talk at all, he didnt ask how my trip went, or that he missed me or anything. Right after I asked him, he said no & said bye. Ask him whats going on before you break up with him. You never know why he is acting like this. If he doesnt talk to you or anything maybe you could tell one of your friends to break up with him for you or talk to him online. If not just call him and tell him! x0

My friend always texts me on my phone! And we were on the phone w/ a boy the other nite! So yesterday i got this text from my friend saying that the boy we were talking to ( that i like ) said i was annoying! i was like no! She then texts me saying i was jk! I was like ooooo! O.k. I have a.d.d. and all my teachers Know it, but they push me to hard. I told them about my issue just in case they forgot, but they still push me to hard. Should I tell my parents? yesterday i went to my dads n me and my sister are piercing our beely buttons and i used a sewing needle and peirced hers but she fell asleep and didnt do mine so she is next week and i need to know where to get a belly button ring and my mom cant know about it and what do i use so i dont get infected?

You can get belly button rings at Hot Topic, Icing, Spencers and stores like that. You can use a neelde but before you do put it in rubbing alchocol so it gets all the germs off it. I peirced mi ears again so I had to do that and it didnt get infected. x0

ugh the other day i had my 3 best friends sleep over cuz it was my birtth day and last year jessiffica ruined it so my mom told me if she acted up she would go home again so my mom made a cake and then jessiffica was all oh we should smash her head in the cake n my mom was like no so she did it any way and i got mad and my mom made her go home and now shes all mad at me when i should be mad at her and wrote this in her profile

Ok my dads been married 4 times...he is still on his fourth marrage. he got married about 7 months ago, when he got married we moved to another house and i had to change schools (i hate my new school so much too) well recently my dad came really close to getting a divorce, and we already found a house near my old school. well the day that my dad got the form for the lease, he started to have regrets about moving, like because the house that were in is my dads dream house, or this would be my dads 4th failed marrage, and the fact that his credit would go back to shit if he does divorce. the only reason i really want to move is so i can be at a better school and have all my old friends back, but at the same time i wanna stay because of my dad...any advice?

Give your new school a chance. You can always make new friends no matter where you go. I know you want to go back to your old school but is your dad always going to be happy? Now that he is happy dont take it away from him! x0

okay im 13/female. and i have BIGG mood swings. like even when im not on IT. like one sec. i will be all happy and laughing w. my friends. and then the next i will be crying.. or i will be talking to peole online.. and my mom asks me to do something.. and i go totally pissy. and it seems like my parents dont want me to be happy. like every time im happy, they make me pissed off. and i NEED diet coke to keep me hapy. so..here are my questions.. 1) what can i do to prevent these mood swings 2) why do i feel like my parents dont want me to be happy and 3) why do i need diet coke.. and drinking diet coke, can it hurt me? thanks to all who answer this!

I feel like that all the time! Its just the stages your going throught and its puberty! Thats what I think but I have other problems then that. 1. Dont argue with anyone and listen to your parents. I know it sucks but it would help. 2. Your parents only want the best for you not to hurt you. Next time they tell you to do something then do it so they dont get mad. Help them out with things. 3. People have different ways to calm them selves down and your's is drinking diet coke. It cant hurt you but try not to drink too much of it. x0

heyy ok.. umm this has been going on for about a month now and i really cant take it anymore! my friends think ive changed, they think im dramatic, and they think im obbsessed with gossip.. me nd my 3 best friends have been best friends for 2 years now and everything was perfect then.. we never faught.. we never talked about eachother.. nd we were always there for eachother.. this year is different nd were all starting to fight.. nd my 1 friend always takes other peoples sides wen i fite with them.. its like she hates me.. nd i dont think any of them trust me.. nd oh yea my really good friend and i have been hanging out more nd they think i like her better then them and i dont! and they dont believe me wen i say i dont! i said i wanted to kill myself nd some1 told the guidance office nd now i have a therapist! ughh.. my parents now kno about it nd no1 leaves me alone at all anymore! nd another reason why they think ive changed is becuz i smoke nd im 13.. i kno its not smart but ive only done it a couple of times cuz people say it relieves stress nd as u can see theres been alot of that going on in my life! well thanx sooooo much for reading this and please give me adivice.. it would mean alot to me!

Gosh! Tell your friends one more time that they are your only best friends and that you dont want to fight anymore! You shouldnt smoke eather because its not good. You can get addicted to that! I smoked when I was depressed and stressed out and you`re right it does kinda of help but there is other ways you can reveale stress. When ever you are sad talk to some one you can trust and that is able to help you. x0
