The mood swings are part of the hormones of being a teenager. Just try to center yourself on reality. Parents make rules so that we can grow up to be decent human beings. This goes against the natural need to rebel and become more independent of out parents. Diet coke has lots of caffeine and probably aren't helping your mood swings. Try to cut down to one of those a day. Caffeine also sometimes makes PMS even worse. Be sure to drink other things, especially water.

1}You could see a doctor and make sure there isn't a reason for them.
2}I'm sure your parents do want you to be happy. You just don't see it that way cause you're being in a mood.3}You don't need diet coke you just think you do.Your addicted to it.

I feel like that all the time! Its just the stages your going throught and its puberty! Thats what I think but I have other problems then that. 1. Dont argue with anyone and listen to your parents. I know it sucks but it would help. 2. Your parents only want the best for you not to hurt you. Next time they tell you to do something then do it so they dont get mad. Help them out with things. 3. People have different ways to calm them selves down and your's is drinking diet coke. It cant hurt you but try not to drink too much of it. x0

I'm very similiar! I feel all the time that my parents don't want me to be happy, and I love diet coke! lol well 1) If you have alot of mood swings, then you must have alot on your mind, one minute somethin that makes you happy, and the next somethin that hurts you. Consider seein a therapist, to talk anything out that you'd like...help you get anything off your chest, and reduce mood swings. 2)We're teenagers, we don't get along with our parents. There is alot out there that we teenagers take advantage of, and practically expect the world to give us. Parents realize this, and say somethin bout it...this ticks us off. It's only natural for you to feel rebellious, shall we say, towards your parents. You'll grow out of it...we all do. It's not a problem. 3) Diet woke will not hurt you, just don't drink too much of it, cuz it's not exactly the most healthy beverage in the world. Drinkin too much soda will take the salt out of your body, and then you'll end up with low sodium, and with low sodium if you get over exerted in the heat, you'll black out and/or pass out. So it's ok to drink it, just don't let it be the only thing you ever drink...water, milk, fruit juices...things like that, be sure to include them! Hope this helps!

Drama_Secretary answered Sunday March 13 2005, 7:24 pm:
You might want to go see if you are bi-polar. Do you ever have a normal mood or are you always extremely a certain mood? If you answered no to normal mood, definately go see if you are bi-polar. The medication will help with the mood swings. Bi-polar could also explain the parent thing. And too much of anything can hurt you. Diet Coke can hurt you but you'd have to be drinking it as much as you breathe air pretty much to hurt you.

1) Do what your parents ask you to and it wont happen again.
2) Your parents are like that because when they ask you somthing you might not do it.
3) Some people need something to comfort them and make them happy and yours is diet coke
ALways there..
