Hi, this is Kate. I'm 17. My life motto is 'Live Laugh Love', I really think those are great words to live by and I'm planning to have it made into a tattoo. I'm not religious but I love learning about different religions. I write stories based on things that have happened to me because sometimes I have days where I just think 'wow that sounds like something out of a book'. I've finished 3 stories and I'm about to start my first horror story..very exciting. I believe in fairy tale love...the kissing in the rain, staring at the stars on the rooftop kind of love..Why? Because I'm in that kind of love and its been the greatest time of my life. And it didn't come easy.
I'd love to help you with whatever issues come your way. I've been in relationships where the guy was too old for me, the guy was my best friend, the guy just wanted to get some. I've been the other woman but I'm not proud of it. I've been the girl who waits years to be with the guy she wanted.
I come from the type of home where everyone seems okay and then when everyone leaves its chaos. My parents should have been divorced years ago and I can't stand to be around either of them so for now I'm going day by day, only coming home to sleep and counting down the days until I go to college in August.

about a month ago my boyfriend and I slept together. recently, i've noticed a ton of crazy things. my boobs are really soft and they hurt alot; my stomach randomly gets sharp pains in it or tingly type things, i have really bad headaches, i sleep more than usual and i kinda pee alot. i think i'm pregnant. my friend is buying me a test so i'll know tomorrow for sure. but is a month long enough that it will actually detect anything? please help. i'm 15 and im kinda lost at this whole situation. if your mom can't handle the kids herself then tell her to give them up for adoption. a 13 year old is not ready to be a parent (although some of the girls at my school think differently). you haven't had the experience and the knowledge that perenting brings. if your grandma loves you then stay with her.

I am a 15/female and am redoing my bedroom (besides my furniture.) The furniture I currently have is like a beige color. My carpet is also beige and my walls are bare and white. My room is fairly large. Right now the design is like roses, but not cute ones, like old lady roses. I want to make the room more teenagerish, less my parents designing it when I was in second grade. well my room is a light lavender with one wall lavender and sky blue vertical stripes. my room is the size of most people's closets appx 7x9 so the stripes made it look like it had a higher ceiling. bright colors look nice. you might like a surfer beach theme. your beige carpet could be like the sand and you can paint the walls a light blue for the sky. if you go to pbteen.com they will have a wave mural too. just some ideas

light orange would look nice. if you're a girl then lavender and pink would look nice too. so would a baby blue. maybe even try a white bedspread and have a bunch of different colored accent pillows.

try moving the furniture around and getting some new sheets. you could add a cool area rug to add color without painting too. if you have room a colorful chair might look nice too.

Theres this guy that i've been talking to online for about a year. We eventually exchanged cell phone numbers and have talked on the phone. He is really nice and I find myself feeling in love with him. I know people probably think internet love is a bust but that's how I feel when I talk to him. He isn't one of the guys that wants to have cyber sex either, just to talk. He's always there when I need him and he's very sweet and he is always looking out for my best interests as well. I want to meet him but I don't know if I should. He lives about an hour away from me and he was planning on taking a train to visit me. I know there are some freaks out there, but I don't think he comes off as one of them and I also know to be careful and if I were to meet him I would bring a friend, of course. You're obviously not from America(euros) so i'm going to give you the best advice i have. if you have the same phone companies as we do. Nokia phones are usually cheaper than other phones. i use Cellular One but they're not that great. i've heard Verizon is really good

be yourself when you design your room. make it something that can be changed so matching everything isn't always good. incorperate the carpet in your design. a beach theme might look nice but it's really up to you.

My vet keeps sending me postcards wanting me to bring in my cat to get her yearly exam and shots. Is this really necessary? When I was a kid, we never brought our cats to the vet. We live in an apartment, so my cat never goes outside or is exposed to other animals. So I don't see a purpose for these vaccines. She was just at the vet 2 months ago for an eye infection, so they know she is in good health. Is it really that necessary that I bring her? (link)

This is prolly gonna sound dumb but im not into all those sterotype things. So like what does prep/goth/punk/emo/posers and all those things mean. Add them if i forgot some. Those are the basics that i know.
Like if you were pink and say "omg" and "like" every 5th word...your a prep?

i'm basing my answers on my experience from school. you pretty much have the prep thing right but i don't think they're all that drastic. i think there is two levels for preps. i am considered a lower level prep by the higher level preps. you're pretty much based on what you wear. i wear a lot of Aeropostale so i'm a lower level prep and if you wear Abercrombie you're a higher level prep. i know it's very confusing and stupid. Goths are kinda obsesed with black and usually have a lot of peircings/tatoos. Punks are the type of people who wear just funks clothes with a lot of pink and black and those other neon colors. i don't know what a emo is and i've never heard of them. posers are people who try to act like one of these stereotypes but they're not really like that normally.

My old doctor would practicaly call anything that i had when i came to her Post Nasal Drip. it sound like a disease but it's when you've had a runny nose that made your throat sore. do you have allergies? it could be that

my boyfriend drinks alot.. tonight he told me he needs a beer cause he hasnt drank in a few nights. i dont drink alot at all so i dont go out n party with him wenever he does. since im not there i worry about him n other girls.. i dont know if he thinks its okay to do body shots or somethin..i dont kno if i should be mad if he does or jus let it go? to make it worse, hes goin to college this year and im only a junior. should i be mad if he takes body shots off of girls or is that taking jealousy too far? tell your parents no matter how hard it may be because you were involved in something that was ilegal and they need to know about it. Plan something fun to do with your cousin so maybe he'll stop thinking about it.

if "accesories" are available at your house then don't worry about it. next time you go to a drug store with your mom is the best time to say something although i still haven't figured out how i'm gonna tell my mom when i get it.

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to listen to me complain because no one else wants to hear it...
Im 17 and have never been asked out, had a boyfriend, had a boy as a friend , or any other possible boy-girl relationships you could think of. The older guys seem to like me which scares me a lot because when I went to ST Thomas, a 29 year old was hitting on me and asked me if I played pool (hence a date). I think a black kid likes me and hes very nice and all but hes just not right for me. The problem is, even when I meet someone who is ever slightly interested I get all sick to my stomach and am so excited. 100% of the time I am let down, such as the time when I met this physical therapist who was flirting with me and then I saw him again and he seemed lijke he didnt even know me. It was heartbreaking too because I waited two weeks and all i thought about was "friday, jack will be there! friday friday friday. I think i spent tooo much time thinking about it and now im so sad again.. I know hes too old for me anyways, but I seem so pathetic. People tell me Im smart and pretty, like uh my doctor, and uh my MOM and random waitresses. One time I was leaving the YMCA and some lady told me i looked like priness di, which i dont think so i have brown hair and hazel eyes, lol but anyways my best four friends dont have boyfriends either and we never have. its not like we are giving ourselves out. no one takes us for a ride. Usually I find a guy I like at school and try and find out more about them, and im dissapointed to find out theyve had sex, or drink all the time, or smoke pot, or are just plain boring! Sometimes I find myself trying to ignore them but yet i cant. I thought maybe life would be easier as a lesbian because so many girls love me as a freind and even they tell me im pretty. Ive been capatin of soccer and lacrosse numerous times because everyone (girls ) love me. It sucked when I thought one of the girls was hitting on me and i was scared! But i Know thats not the sexuality I am, and I guess thats just me being stupid again. I see myself falling for the older guys, around 20-26ish and for some reason its hard for me to even have interest in guys my own age. Maybe its because of the bad expeinces ive had, since most guys my age are all about sex, smoking, drinking, and anything else I can imagine. I just want a good guy who is a legal age to go out with who likes me for who i am. Im so sick of hearing "oh the right guy hasnt come along": when I see these perfect couples at school or the mall. Life is tough sometimes.. Im also worried about my car and if guys wil try to use me for it. Id be really sad to find out if Jimmy likes me and I like him but really Jimmy only loves my mini cooper convertible :( my aunt thinks im going to be hurt by that kind of stuff... i dont know! i am sooo confused

my school is the same way. you only like the older guys because the guys your age are so immature and they're jerks. i've only had one boyfriend and he denies that we ever went out. i don't think i'm ever going to find someone that i really like until i am in my twenties and can meet other hot guys who are in their 20's. sometimes i wonder if guys are saying the same things about us(girls). that we're immature and all we want is sex. all we really want is someone to say i love you and mean it.
