just tell her you dont have to be embarassed. your mom isnt going to make fun of you or anything. she went through it and so did/will everygirl. dont be afraid to tell your mom. shes there to help you not judge you.

it is nothing to be embarassed about. you are a grown woman now! and you will have big boobs, haha. just tell her one time that ya'll are out and about.. and be like "mom please dont embarsse me .. but i got my period" and thats no big deal.
if you have a older sister you could tell your sister and have her tell your mother.. that would be okay too. that is what i did.
but this is nothing to worrie about .. we all go through with it. and its fine.
hope i helped. please rate me.

i agree that period talks with your mom is most definately weird..but just gather the guts up to talk to her..this will be the only period talk you will have to have with your mom. i mean now that your menstruating your mom should know so she knwos to buy supplies for the two of you, this way one day you dont get your period and your stuck with nothing. that would suck

so if you two are in the car you can mention
"mom i finally got my period.."
its not like she will be "eeew" lol every woman gets it and she will probably be all happy about it
no worries!

if "accesories" are available at your house then don't worry about it. next time you go to a drug store with your mom is the best time to say something although i still haven't figured out how i'm gonna tell my mom when i get it.

Well, since you get embarassed easily, slip a note in a cabinet. Like, one in her bathroom or a place she uses a lot. That way you don't have to talk to her

ok, your mom knows what a period is, so just tell her. she is going to find out anyway. its nothing to be embarassed about, trust me. the sooner you tell her, the better you will feel.
just go up to her and say 'hey mom. i got my period.' and leave it at that.

You should just tell her. Say "Mom, I think I've started my period." All moms wait to hear those words and believe me, they prepare for it. You shouldn't feel embarrased. She will understand.

Hope I helped <33

Don't be embaressed. She's your mom. She went through all of it too. She was your age once and she remembers telling her mom about it. Just tell her. She knows all about it, and she already went through all of it.

I was kinda uncertain what to say, too. I eventually just told her. My cousin told her through email which is sure to work!

Why would you be uncomfortable telling your mom. For the love of God, she has her period too! It's not like you're telling her something she knows NOTHING about. Pull her aside and just say mom, I got my period. Done. That's it. Nothing too complicated right? Depending on her personality she might freak out and go OH MY LITTLE GIRL IS A WOMAN NOW BLAH BLAH BLAH! Or give you a dollar and say congrats like my mom did. It's not something you need to feel uncomfortable about. ALL girls get their period at one point or another.
