make each room someting you love, if you love the sun make one room like a yellow or orange color with whites and pinks and deep blues and deep reds for accents. you could have like a fun room with waky colors! that would be awesome!

well if it's an apartment of your own you can do anything you feel like! you have to make sure you can actually paint on your walls first lol, i think you should do a island sort of them and make everything sort of beachy and you can get a table that has glass on top and a regular table with a like drawer you can see into and put sand nd shells in it. lol but its up to you, tell me a few things you really like and some colors and we'll talk some more. (:

I would first think of what colors you like best? Blues, pinks, purples? & then think of like things you like..flowers, angels, like whatever your interested in! And then make your apartment feel like home, make it be YOU.

First of all since you said apartment, I'm going to assume that like most, it's small. To make it seem bigger, use light, bright colors. Mirrors make a room look bigger. Try not to section the area off. Making the rooms flow also makes it appear bigger so have a general theme throughout the apartment to pull it together. www.hgtv.com has wonderful decorating tips as well as a room planner so you can get a general idea of where to place your furniture to most maximize the space. Good luck.

Nyx answered Thursday July 14 2005, 2:47 am:
Well, that's a little tricky. Most landlords wont allow you to paint the walls. So you would have to get into contact with them about what you can and cannot do. However, there many other ways you can decorate an apartment without painting: cutrtains, furniture, rugs, pillows, bed spreads, and other small little knicknacks are great.

It's really quite hard for me to say what you should put into your apartment, first of all because I don't know a budget you have in mind, but mainly because I don't know what styles you like, and what color schemes. However there are ample amounts of web resources that can help you with ideas.
