Im writeing a paper on second hand smoke and weather or not people should be aloud to smoke in public places ( resterunts, bars, amusment parks, ect. )and i need peoples opinioins..
if you think that they should banned public smoking or if you think that it should be aloud nd why (if you want).. i rate !! so help me if you have the time thank yaa!!

it should be banned. We might as well all be smokers if smoking in public was aloud. Some of us have enough sense to stay away from bad habits like that and it's not fair that we have nasty ciggarette smoke blowing in our direction.

recently my friend and I have been stealing a lot. it's like every store we go to, we almost always steal atleast 1 thing. we steal simple things, like make up, food, skin care products... when she first told me that she stole things with her friend a few months ago, I laughed at the idea and I couldn't believe they were so.. bad. but when I saw them in action, I realized how easy it was. I only steal when I'm with that friend, and even though now I'm better than her at doin it, I still feel extreme guilt sometimes. she doesn't feel any regrets at all. I kno I should stop, but I just wanna kno if any of you have stolen things and have gotten caught doing it, and what were the concequences. I will stop eventually... but it's really fun and easy. if my parents even found out, they would literally disown me

I've stole stuff before, and thankfully we werent caught. We got lucky..You have to realize..the people that make those products have a family to support and when you don't pay for various objects there could be less food on the table for the manufactuer's family. Sorry, I don't have a story about when I was caught, but I thought that idea might help. Also, one of my friends stole from wal-mart and she had her face and information posted on a sign in the back of the store so the employees can see her and know she is banned from the store.Her friend's mom worked at the store and she was worried that she would see and not let them be friends anymore.It will go on your record and no matter how good you are after that it will always be there and you can't do anything about it except change now. I highly recommend you stop stealing or you'll have to find out the hard way.

i'd like to know if it is wrong to donate your eggs/semen to couples who cannot copulate in exchange for money. There are constanly ads for this sort of thing and i'm broke. my boyfriend thinks it's horrible that i would want to give my not-yet-concieved child away, but if it provides me enough cash to stay in school, pay rent, and get to work on public transit I can't see how it is so wrong if i screen the people to give it to. i don't want to do the wrong thing to make money, i just naturally see it as helping people, nt selling a baby. please help?

I think it's a good idea for this situation. You aren't hurting anyone. Some people long for a child, but can't have one themselves. You would be making their lives into a miracle and if they are willing to treat the baby well you can know that you made a child's life worth it.Also, if you need the money why not? I say, it's not wrong and the people who are saying it is was probraly never in the situation of someone not being able to have a child of their own..so they don't know..

Most definetly. You can still get STD's and those are sexually transmitted diseases..Also, giving someone sexual pleasure is still considered sex, just not intercourse.

I am so full of energy so after I was laying down for like 10 minutes, i ust had this blast of hyperness and i jus ran outta my room yelling..ahaha..my mom was scared..so when she realized I was just being crazy, she started cussing at me..BAD! she was like "F*** YOU! It's nothing personal. I do the same thing when something startles me. She was probaly doing something and then surprised by your noise. It's just a reaction.I curse at my brother when he does that, so I don't look like an idiot screaming as if I was scared. Trust me,she's probraly not mad at you, maybe just annoyed.

My 2 best friends have been leaving me out a lot lately. This may not seem like a big deal to you, but let me explain. 2 years ago, my best friend (lets call her Rose) was an outcast. everyone hated her and i was the only one willing to take her in. Last year, we were inseperable, and had an amazing friendship. My other friend, (call her Marie) is the most popular girl in school. she wasnt at the beginning of the school year, and she and i did everything together. all of a sudden theyve become best friends and are leaving me out of everything. it makes me feel so bad, and its gotten so bad that i cry myself to sleep at night. any advice?

Let them know. Invite them to your house but serperatly.( So you can spend some time with each of them) Maybe try to act more outgoing and show them you have a fun side to you and they'll think they were nuts for leaving you out! All you need is some individual time with each of them, so that they arent used to being so clingy with eachother.

Seriously this boy knows nothing about his commitment to you. The point of you being his girlfriend is so that you are the *only one* who should be treated on an intimate level. Drop this guy.If you are as nice as you seem to be it won't be long until you find a new-better boyfriend.Tell him he doesn't need 2 girlfriends and tell him he only can have one and his only option is the other girl because you're leaving him. Anytime you come in contact with semen..blood..anything of the sort...you are at risk of an STD. Not having your period doesnt prevent you from getting a disease.They don't have paper..condoms..it's practicly impossible because they make them in plastic to cling around tightly and paper can't do that..plus, paper would rip easily.

I wrote in about a month ago, asking for advice about a friend of mine that treated me badly (called me names, made me look stupid in front of others, etc). I finally confronted her about it, so now we don't talk anymore. I'm so much happier; but now I have a few more problems...
1) She always stares at me! And when I walk down the hallway (and she's in a classroom), she is always by the door (like she's waiting for me), but she never talks, she just stares. Is that normal, because it sort of freaks me out.
2) I REALLY want to go to a camp, but she might be going too, and I really don't want to run into her (because then she'd beg for forgiveness, and I don't think that she would change, which is why I didn't give her a second chance in the first place). Should I go or not, and why?

She's staring because she's jealous..trust me!Go to camp!Never let anyone stop you from doing something you want to do. Go to that camp, just ignore her and she'll get over it. Don't give up something you want to do for her.

Sometimes my friends treat me badly and i think they are talking behind my back. The thing is that i've told them they leave me out all the time but all they say is sorry. Sometimes they can be soooooo nice. other times they can be not so nice. What should i do???

Make some more friends..keep them as another option..If you look in the newspaper they sometimes have `teen nights` where you can meet other kids your age..Try an activity...Get to know the people in your community..Just try to socialize with as many people as possible and sooner or later you'll make some friends.Trust me on this one!

My hair is so boring, I've scrunched it before and it looks terrible. Any good ideas besides straight and pony tails?

Try a bun...Or straighten your hair and part it to the side..Get those little stretchy headbands..they're really cute..Maybe it didnt work when you scrunched it b/c you didnt have the right stuff. I have some stuff where you spray it in and it helps to make your hair curl just a little bit. Go to the store and look at the different hair products and be creative!Don't be afraid to try something new...a few months ago I would never do anything with my hair, but I've been doing it lately and it looks great!

Try talking to her-she's probraly in over her head and thinks she has so much power now. If she's acting like a snob let her go...you still have Jenna and Mandy..so if this is how your `friend` is gunna act..she'll see that people arent gunna put up with it much longer..so I say if she doesnt change..forget about her..explain to her how she's acting stuck up and cocky and that she's too into herself.

Exactly-just say your mom is busy--this is one of the times lieing is acceptable. It's not your mom's duty to drive her around. Tell her to do it on another weekend when she can actually get a ride. Don't give into her-you shouldn't have to.

Ok i have this friend Jackie, She's really fun and she acts like the best friend ever. but she has this lying thing that she wont stop. she'll lie about anything!! her dad hates me so i cant hang around with her around him and she lies about him too. when i ask if she can do something, she'll lie and say her dad is home just because she wants to go somewhere else. then she'd make stupid things up like i have a crush and she'll say "OMG I SAW *HIM* AND HE SAID HI JACKIE! IM GOING TO CALL RACHEAL TODAY" and then i didnt believe her, bc i never do cuz shes always lying. so i went and i asked him if he saw her and he's like, no...i didnt. so she lies all the time. AND she'll look for stupid reasons to fight with anyone. I've told her i knew she was lying all the time and i wanted her to stop but then she got mad at me for like 7 months and then im always the one to apoligize even though i didnt do anything. so how can i make her stop lying and not get mad at me for nothing?

I understand completly what you are experiencing. Tell her,friends- dont need to lie to eachother..so why lie? If she keeps lieing don't be friends with her..How good of a friend can she be if she has to make up stories for attention...It seems kinda desperate and tell her that. If it ends your friendship..so what? there are so many people out there who arent so pethetic to make up stuff.

I really want to enter the NA Miss Competition in my state, but my parents are big anti-modeling and anti-cheerleading because they think it's a brainless thing that only focuses on the outside. They don't really know that this competition takes grace, poise, and intelligence to win, and it's not even focused on beauty. I really want to let them know, but they have EXTREMELY closed minds about things like that. If I mention the word "model" in front of my mother, she flips out and gives me her anti-modeling speech. My parents are from a rigid family that believes in moral values and modesty, and there is only that in this competition. How can I show them that I want to be in this competition and open their minds to it?

This isn't what you want to hear, but I agree with your parents. How do people win schloarships by their apperance? It's really ridiculous. They probraly believe that your inside matters most and they don't want a superficial contest to get in the way.I'm sorry that this is not going to help much, but if I were your parents I would say the same thing..Just think how they are viewing the situation.
