And you'll pass them on to guys you sleep with and they'll pass them on to girls they sleep witch etc.
Not forgetting you could be pregnant, theres a very high chance of that wether you've started your periods or not.
As for condoms, you can get ones especially for people who are allergic to them.
ask your doctor about those.
Sorry to sound harsh but your really putting your self in danger so seriously make a doctors appointment today!
Addition... i dont mean the people who get std's are horrible and discusting, i just mean the actual diseases are nasty to have and make you feel horrible and do awful things to your body (the more serious ones do anyway, like Aids.) [ chakra's advice column | Ask chakra A Question ]
sdog1205 answered Tuesday May 24 2005, 7:47 pm: Yes you can still get STD's. And yes they do make condoms out of different material but they are not as safe. The laytex condoms work the best and are the most affective but they do make different kinds. Even though the different condoms are not as safe and stong as laytex condoms they are still protection than using nothing. You should also go get tested for STD's. Just because you haven't had your period yet doesn't mean that you can't get diseases like HIV, AIDS, Herpees etc. you should get tested for STDs if you are going to have sex, and you really should start using a condom. STD's can be deadly and I'm sure you know what AIDS and HIV can do to you. If you are going to have sex use a condom. There should be condoms made out of material other than laytex near the laytex condoms. Go buy some and be safe!
Karen answered Tuesday May 24 2005, 6:55 pm: You can still get a sexually transmitted disease by not using protection. Not having your period just means there's a high chance of you not getting pregnant. They do make condoms that are non latex, which is the rubber on a condom. Just remember, use protection, even if you haven't gotten your period because you can still get an sexually transmitted disease. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]

zapreth answered Tuesday May 24 2005, 6:36 pm: Of course you can get STDs while not on your period. It is hard for me to fathom how people can think they are mature enough "to get around alot" and don't even know how STDs are transmitted. The walls of your vagina give off a discharge that helps clean your system and keep the ph balance right to prevent infection. Viruses and other deadly nasties can reach your blood stream through this way. Also, your cervix is not a barrier to your womb which is filled with blood and pores and all kinds of places for you to contract illness. A boy's cum contains trace amounts of blood along with the semen. Besides the semen containing illness other illnesses are passed through this blood. You are most likely giving STDs to each of your partners and collecting new ones everyday. I would be surprised if your name doesn't show up on the desk of a health officer investigating a case of the clap. Illnesses like this are reported and the health department is required to contact current and past partners to help prevent the spread. That you are allergic to latex is unfortunate. Yes they do make sheepskin condoms. They are expensive and do not protect well against STDs they are mostly to protect against pregnancy. Only a latex condom will give you a good chance at protection. You need to be tested immediatly. Tell your partners they should be tested too. [ zapreth's advice column | Ask zapreth A Question ]
LiSaxOBaBii answered Tuesday May 24 2005, 6:28 pm: Anytime you come in contact with semen..blood..anything of the sort...you are at risk of an STD. Not having your period doesnt prevent you from getting a disease. They don't have paper..condoms..it's practicly impossible because they make them in plastic to cling around tightly and paper can't do that..plus, paper would rip easily.
xXxpinky615xXx answered Tuesday May 24 2005, 6:24 pm: If you've never had your period yet, it just means you're about a million times less likely to get pregnant than the girls who do. Yes, you can still get an STD from not wearing a condom. And the plasticy rubber stuff is latex. They do make non latex condoms and you can use those since you're allergic to latex. Condoms are not 100% though, even with a condom (when you start your period) you can still get pregnant and you are still able to get an STD. You should use the non latex condoms with nonoxyl nine (spermacide) it basically kills the sperm. You'll be able to find them at any drug store. Good luck.
