Hey Advicenators! (;

I usually hate giving advice to questions like these, but I really need to know if what I'm doing is right. Basically, I have a boyfriend, and we've been dating for a month and a couple days. I really really like him a lot. He's been my best friend since I've moved here to Texas, and we just thought we should start being boyfriend / girlfriend. His name is Kevin.

Back in Pennsylvania, I had this best friend called Charles. We had been best friends since 2nd grade. But, we became REALLY close before I left PA because we knew that it'd be super heartbreaking for the both of us, since we wouldn't be together anymore.

I was completely sad because I knew that Charles didn't believe in long distance relationships. I knew I'd have to wait for him.

But then he found a girlfriend like a month after I left. I don't know her but I know that he has a girl. I was so pissed off about this because I thought he was "in love" with me. But obviously not. Then I met Kevin, like 2 months after I moved here.

Somehow he found out that I'm making Kevin a gift for Xmas, "100 reasons why I like you.." lol i'm pretty sure everyone knows about that. Then tonight, Charles IMed me and said, "Tell me 100 reasons why you love me.." & I'm like I'm not going to do that because it's unfair to Kevin, even if he never finds out about this conversation, I still think it's unfair to talk about US behind his back. He shouldn't even feel that way anyways because he has a girlfriend, right? Now he said he doesn't want to talk to me anymore. And he's never said that to me before.

I'm not going to be upset about this, because it isn't my fault, right? I just need other peoples' perspectives on this.

You deffinitly do not at all need to be upset about this. He should understand that you have moved on, and that he shouldnt be saying that stuff because he has a girlfriend. Yes, I saw your 100 reasons why I like you thing lol, i would have answered it, but i didnt have any ideas. So yea, dont let this bring you down at all. He'll probably end up talking to you again

A guy that I'm quite good friends with was telling me stories from when he was in highschool. I was curious when all this happened to him so I innocently asked him what year he graduated from grade 12. Well it turned out that it was the same year that I was born!! I started giggling and then told him I was born the year he graduated.
Well this was his reaction: His eyes got huge(like a deer in the headlights) and his face went 50 shades of red. He also couldnt look me in the eye for the rest of the evening.
I felt bad for embarrasing him and never mentioned it again. But I thought it was a strange reaction for just a friend?
Do you think he may be attracted to me? Why else would he get so embarrassed?

Maybe he didnt realize you were that young. And was shocked that he is friends with somone your age. How old is he, and how old are you? Most likely he was just surprised that your very mature for your age to be so much younger. Hope I helped.

Okay, so I'm 14 (female). my friend (15 and female) and I are throwing a christmas/new years party (on new years) and there'll be boys and girls there. We're all 13-15 years old, so no college party stuff. but we dont know what to do. people are bringing b/f's and crushes, all though we dont want to do anything to extreme. does anyone have any good ideas of what to do for the partay???

Watch movies, play spin the bottle, play monopoly, ha that game can always be fun with tons of people. Hmm, listen to music, like dance and stuff. Just, chill, put on some tunes, and let people chat. Hope I helped.

This guy that I'm friends with invited me and another girl over to his house to watch a hockey game. Well I had already made plans with my father to go to the show, so I couldnt go. Well my the other girl (who has a severe crush) on this guy didnt have a problem with going alone without me to his house.
Well anyways I found out the next day that he was choked at me because he had to give my friend money for a cab ride home, since she doesnt have a car. I have a car but couldnt give her a ride there and back because I had already made plans with my dad. This guy is acting really cold towards me now.
Well I have two theories about why this happened. Either A: he's jealous I have a good relationship with my father, or B. He likes me as more than a friend and was upset that I didnt go to his house? And maybe he just invited the other girl cause he's shy and would be more comfortable with her and me there?
Either way, I think he was being a jerk. The other thing I thought was maybe something happened between my friend who has the crush on him that night. Like maybe she made a pass at him, or was telling him nasties about me.
What do you think is going on?

It deffinitly coud be either a or b. Did your friend kind of have an idea that he liked you, if he did? Because, if she kinda got the hint that he did, and if she's not that great of a friend maybe she told him some stuff about something that you said but you really didnt say. The best thing to do is call him up on the phone { not online because he could always show others the convo} and ask him whats going on, and if it was something you did that is making him act like this. These problems suck, because there are so many reasons to why people give you the cold shoulder. your best bet, is to call him, like i said. Good Luck!

Well this guy, he asked me out and then we dated, for a week and a half, until i kind of thought he was getting closer to my friend, Emma.I talked to him on msn and asked him if he liked her, but he didnt say anything and then i go "Look i dont care about anything, all i want to know is do you still love me?" and he goes "Look there is no point, you have lost my trust what more can you lose?" and i go "I just want to know Do you like Emma?" and he said "Im sorry i cannot go out with you anymore." and he dumped me. Then next week, he blocked me and deleted me on msn..oh and he looks at me alot in class. We were playing volleyball in sport, and he would look at me alot and yeah. My other friend is in his roll call class and she said he looked upset in roll call class after he dumped me..Please help!! and also he is a goth

Ok, you dated for a week and a half. You love him? Find out why he lost your trust. He probably looks at yo uin gym class because he thinks about the whole break up and might still have feelings for you. He was upset, and thats probably why he deleted you from msn. Maybe he was upset that he dumped you. Dont ask guys if they like someone else, it gets them angry. It probably seems to them like your thinking that they will cheat on you. Ya know? Him being goth has nothing to do with why he broke up with you. How come you added that little thing about him being goth? Hope I helped.

I am on the phone with my boyfriend and i want to get a good conversation. What should I ask him?

Talk to him about your day, and ask him how his went. Talk about movies, books, and such things like that. If you dont know him that well at the moment, ask him his favorite color, and what type of stuff he is into. I have never went out with anyone younger then me. But, I dont think that is a problem at all. Big woop, he's a year younger then you, if you like the guy then thats all that matters. lol, if he was in 4th grade, then it would matter hehehe. But, deffinitly go for it, and its not weird at all. I hate my life. Here's a little bit about it.
I have un diagnosed a.d.d or adhd, i'm 14, I ive in the stupidest town ever, i suck at everything i do, i hate my family, i do not work up to my potencial, i'm ugly, i'm too skinny, i'm not allowed to have ''too much fun'', i'm not allowd to have a girlfriend, i'm constantly depressed, i dont have any friends because i'm too much of a ''geek'', i get many racist jokes cracked about me every day.

i just dont know what to do, i just got in a big fight with my parents and I didn't realize until now, just how much i HATE my life.

please help me.

Its common for people to hate there life. Sometimes I think I hate my life too. And yes, I'm diagnosed with something like you have, which is Test Anxiety, which can be cured, and if you get help you can get a bit better too. I'm sure that you have something that your good at, drawing, playing an instrument,a sport, collecting things like rocks or something. Dont ever say your ugly. It seems to me that your very self concious. Instead of saying your ugly and too skinny, say that if people dont like you for you, then thats there problem. Your 14, dont worry about girls this soon, 14 is a silly age to have a relationship in my opinion. I'm not aloud to date until i'm 16, which is understandable. You need to find your true self before having a relationship. People who say racist jokes towards you is just pathetic, they are immature and should not be talking smack about a person's race. I suggest, even thougth you might not like this, to go talk to a guidence counselor. I used to have many issues and they helped me out a lot, and I'm not angry about my life anymore. Good Luck hun. Hmm, this question was a bit confusing...let me get this straight, your "dating" the 13 year old, and his two older brothers 16 and 18 seem to like you? If that is what you meant, then I can surly help you lol. That is extremely immature and stupid for the two OLDER brothers to do that to you...That is called sexual harrasment, and even if you dont think it is, well, it is. They should not be doing that to a 13 year old. Its actually a bit gross....If a guy liked you, he wouldnt do that to you...good luck.

When everything they say brings a smile to your face. You get a weird feeling whenever the person is by you.You like the person based on more of there personality and not there looks. You get really jelous when you find out that someone likes the person. You cant wait for the next day to start, because you'll know that you'll see that person.

Give her reasons of why he is bad for her. Hopefully she will listen to you, since your her friend. If she doesnt, just let her go out with him, and she might realize on her own that he is wrong for her. For a class in school, I have to do a debate against someone in front of the whole class. My topic is lowering the drinking age. I am AGAINST it..(con) I need to be able to talk for 2-5 minutes with GOOD facts, statistics, etc..about why I think that the drinking age should NOT be lowered. Then we are going to argue it out til one of us wins! I am doing this debate against my b/f! He is going to argue that it should be lowered. So I need some good facts that are reasons to be AGAINST lowering it! I am also afraid that I am not going to know what to say b/c I will get nervous and embarrassed! please help me out. Dont be embarressed, there will probably be kids that didnt even do there project,they should be embarressed. Just go on the net and find out a whole bunch of information. Write the most important facts on flashcards and bring them with you for the debate. You wont feel stupid if you have all the information you need right in your hands. Alright, here's the deal. I need to shed off quite a few pounds, I have until the end of November to do it.

Now I know the best way to get rid of weight is to exercise. I work two jobs, I don't have the energy to really work out when I have to work and on if I do get a day off from one job or another I just want to relax. Occassionally I take a few walks or jogs around the block. It hasn't been often though lately.

As much as I'm on the go and doing something I have a very slow metabolism. It's hard to lose weight for me. Anyone know how to jumpstart it?

I am trying to watch what I eat as well. Are there any kinds of food that are great for burning off fat? Or any kind of liquids?

I know that diet pills are not healthy, but they seem to be 'quick' so if anyone has had an expierence with a diet pill that has worked please let me know.

So I need quick and easy diet tips for shedding the pounds. I will rate 5 for all answers.

Hey. Protein, such as meat and eggs are quite a help. They make your matabalism go a bit faster. But, dont like, sit there and eat tons of meat lol, just regular perportions. Eat lots of veggies. Were do you work? If your sitting at a desk you could always bring in 5 pound weights and just sit there lifting your arm and stuff so that your muscle get to work! lol. When you get home, chill for a little while, and then do some crunches. Good Luck!
