Is it weird going out with someone younger than you? I'm 13and in 8th grade. And he's a year younger than me, and in 7th grade. Is that weird if he asks me out? I kinda like him...but it just kinda freaks me out to think of it? What should I do?

As I see it, age is jsut a number and doesn't affect anything in a relationship. Just because he's younger doesn't mean that you can't like him. Don't worry about what other people think...screw what they say its not important, and if he can make you happy and treat you right, it doesn't matter what they think anyway! Good Luck!! <3

Hey, Oh my gosh! I'm going through the same thing! I went out with someone in 7th grade this year and i'm in 8th grade. Well if you like him. Go for it chickie! And if your worried about other ppl... screw them! Let them think what they want! As long as your happy!

No its not wierd. but if you feel it wierd then why get with him i mean when he goes and gives you a hug good bye or something your going to feel wierder.so if you feel wierd then dont get with him.

Age doesn't matter when you like some one.

I have never went out with anyone younger then me. But, I dont think that is a problem at all. Big woop, he's a year younger then you, if you like the guy then thats all that matters. lol, if he was in 4th grade, then it would matter hehehe. But, deffinitly go for it, and its not weird at all. One of my best guy friends went out with a girl that was two grades above us, and it lasted for a bit. Good Luck!!!
