Ok, I'm trying to lose weight but I get bored often and I've found that I eat when I get bored, even if I'm not hungry at all. What are some things to do when I get bored?? I mean, I live in a place where you have to drive 15 minutes to the nearest mall or movie place so shopping isnt an option. And I'm only 13 so I can't drive...What are some fun, random things to do around the house?

When I'm bored, I listen to music and dance. I bring my boombox and I dance in my basement, but every time I go with a bottled water so when I get hot from dancing and working out, I won't have to walk into the kitchen (and think about food). You could also use the computer and go to website such as:

You could also call a friend, go to the movie theater, or order a movie on your tv (some people with cox can just order movies and watch it on their television).

this is probably not under the right catagory, but latley like this clear stuff has been comming out of me and it makes my underwear went and sometimes is so much it feels like i peed my pants.i am 13/f and have been on my period for like 2 years.i am scared to tell anyone.do you kno what it is?

Don't worry! It's just discharge. Discharge is what you get after having your period for awhile. You can get it when you're 13 or even 16. It's either discharge OR you're just leaking. Leaking happens when you have overactive bladder.

I think a guy should like you for only who they are, not what they look like. It's nice to hear compliments (such as, "You look really nice today,") but it's not all about looks. Most girls don't wanna only be liked by the way they look, but they way they act and their own opinions.

He likes you! Either that, or he's just VERY attracted to you. If you got his number, call him and chat for awhile. It's pretty obvious he's interested, so make a move and ask him if he likes you. If he says yes, ask him out or wait for him to. If you have anymore questions, ask me on my column.

Way too many guys like one of my best friends. It's just so annoying how many boys like her, and the ONE person I like likes her too which really sucks because whenever we all hang out together he doesn't even notice me. IM NOT JEALOUS! There isn't a lot you can do. Since she is your friend, you should be happy for her. It is hard seeing your bestfriend in the spotlight (I know how you feel, trust me) and she sounds like knows how much people like her. Whenever your friend starts talking about it, just change the subject. Get to know the guy you like more, and maybe when he gets to know you more, he'll ask you out. When people talk about how much they like her, just ignore them and change the subject. There really isn't anything else you can do.

You could ask one of your friends to find out who he likes. If he by any chance likes you, get to know him better. Talk about interests and flirt with him. Smile (show your teeth) when he looks over at you, and make it obvious you like him. Since he's on your team, you can see him a lot and have fun with him. Once you two becomes friends, ask him out.

OR: If you doesn't like you or has a girlfriend, just get to know him and myabe you could just be friends. As they say, there are a lot of fish in the sea.

Im a preppy girl who wears really preppy close. Im pretty, i wear make up and i look cute everywhere i go. It makes me feel good about myself but... theirs this one place that i would choose to go over any places. The girls are not preppy they dont liek bright colors their ghetto bitches. Go to your doctor and he/she will know what is best to drink. I suggest drinking apple juice and water, or drinking whatever the doctor tells you to drink. You could also search online (like on google) and read about some things to help make bladder infections go away.

You just gotta tell her that it kind of scares your cousin when she is loud and outspoken to him. Some children like being loud but other children like being talked to quietly. Explain this to her and tell her how you feel about it.

this is really stupid.. but i met this guy online and i started to like him ALOT. well anyway i met up with him yesterday he is the sweetest/cutest guy EVER. I mean we had such a GREAT time! Okay it was kind of a bad idea to go out with a guy online..but it's good that you got to meet a guy you like. Anyway, when you two are walking together, just hold on to his hand. He'll like that he won't have to make the first move, and you'll be able to make him more comfy around you. After you've known him for awhile, and he seems like he's comfortable, THEN think about kissing him.

When you see a cute guy, walk past him to get his attention. When he notices you're trying to get his attention, smile a flirty smile (show your teeth). If he smiles back, walk up to him and start a random conversation. Just say, "Hey," and start a small conversation. Let him talk a lot though, (not a lot of guys like girls who talk too much about themselves) and let him share his interests. After awhile of talking, write him a note with your phone number or screename. If he's interested, he'll call you soon.

Okay many girls would just say "be yourself" but a lot of people want more then to hear that. If he's really shy, make the first move. By "move" I mean start talking to him randomly, and don't feel nervous about it. Sometimes we have to start conversations first, and that's sometimes the only way to get to know a shy guy. If you're too nervous to talk to him in person, just ask him for his screename on AIM or MSN, and then you can chat online.
You shouldn't try to get him to like you though, because if a guy is supposed to like a girl, he will. Just keep getting to to know him, and then when you're comfy enough to talk to him, ask him out. Give him a flirty smile, showing your teeth. When you talk to him, touch his arm, etc.

Well, I told this guy I liked him through AIM, and it made it SO much easier because I couldn't see his facial expression when I said it. You could:
Write him a note telling him how you feel and just hand it to him.
Ask him for his AIM, and when he's online, chat with him and tell him you like him.
Ask a trusted friend to tell him for you.
Send him an email.

Just remember, when you tell a guy how you really feel, it could mean rejection (he could get mad and say he doesn't like you). That is why I wish I never told the guy how I felt, but now I feel good that it's out in the open.

Go to a movie theater to make your actual first "move" and then during the movie, hold his hand and stare at him, so you'll get his attention. When he looks back, smile at him. If he smiles back, then that's a good sign. Lean forward, and if he also leans his head toward you, then kiss him.
