okay so we're in love blahblah but the thing is, he's 17 and doesn't drive and he expects me to always give him rides. i honestly don't mind doing it as long as ive got nowhere to be and he gives me gas money once in awhile. he says he'll give me gas money but we both always forget until i drop him off and then i'm like "oh i forgot to get his gas money" but the thing is, if i remind him, i feel bad asking him...he works alot and has money but i still feel bad i guess =/ what should i doo?

I think it's only fair that he gives you gas money, because he doesn't have his license and it's not right for you to drive him everywhere, and he just doesn't do anything to thank you. It's really rude.

I'm 13 and I reallllyy like this guy, more than I've ever liked anyone before. He's all the qualities i want in a bf. Lots of people say he likes me back, but boys are so hard to read! He doesn't send any signals as to if he likes me or not. I can't tell at all. I really like him though and I want to know. What should I do?

I'm going to give you a list of what guys tend to do when they like girls:

1. They don't call you "sexy". They call you "beautiful", "gorgeous", "amazing", etc.

2. They make an effort to hug you. They might high-5 instead, but it really depends on the guy in question.

3. They DO find any reason to touch you in some way. Mostly it ISN'T in a sexual way. Its more of just an excuse to remember what you feel like, I guess. Its hard to explain...

4. He is always smiling around you. If you're feeling bad and he's around- he'll be smiling because he knows that he's there to help you- and that's like brownie points for a guy if they can help a girl out. That, like the above, is hard to explain.

5. He'll tell you things about himself that he normally wouldn't tell everyone. He opens up to you. Guys don't get a chance to do that when pressured to "be manly".

6. If you have a feeling that a guy likes you- you're probably right. Guys aren't the best at hiding it- and girls are even better at figuring these type of things out.

If you like this guy- and he does all or most of those things- my best bet is that he does like you. That means one and only one thing: Ask him to make sure, and then try the relationship out. Who knows- it could be great!

I totally missed the solar eclipse! I was inside all day working and stuff and I missed out. Then my friend called and was totally like, "DID YOU SEE THE SOLAR ECLIPSE TODAY?! IT WAS AWESOME!" The news was saying that some Romaine lettuce was recalled recently. Well, I had JUST bought a bag of it (Romaine lettuce) like the day before yesterday from the supermarket so I could have salads. I'm nervous because I don't want to get salmonella and be sick...I get sick really easily. Should I throw the lettuce away or is it safe to eat? If I wash the lettuce really good, will it be safe? Should I take it back to the store I purchased it from? I'm just not sure what to do...

To be safe, I would throw it away.

I was thinking, there should be a "Request Feedback" feature on Advicenators, like there is on AllExperts where advisers here that don't receive feedback from someone for a question that they answered can send them a reminder via e-mail, asking them to give you feedback for the answer that you gave them.

As an adviser, I enjoy receiving feedback for the answers that I give, whether good or bad, so that I can improve my answers and know what I need to improve, so that I can help give askers better solutions.

As an asker, I wouldn't mind giving feedback or criticism for someone's answer, if it will help them provide better advice in the future to myself and other askers.

What do you think? Anything to add?

I would just wait, because if you move it too much or take it out, it can get seriously infected.

What exactly is driving school ? When do you go for it ? And how old could you be to do it? Also do they schedual your appointment to get your liscense or no?

It depends on the state.

Some states have it as a class in school.

Michigan, where I'm from, usually has it through independent companies, like Drive Around Town, and whatnot.

Depending on your state, you can probably start from 14-16. Personally, I took Driver's Ed when I was 15.

They probably won't schedule your road test. You have to call an independent road skills tester. Your class should provide you with a list of numbers of all the registered testers in your area.

They have a small hole on the top of them so you can hang them on a door knob, you know? Like those "Do Not Disturb" door hangers at hotels.

They might be more noticeable and easier to place on people's doors than flyers, since they open the door anyways. lol, but I don't know for sure. :/

Try both. Like, go to one neighborhood and try one idea, and then go to another and try the other.

See which works better, and then use the more successful idea for the future.

Well- you can't MAKE someone like you. It has to happen naturally. Sure- you can do nice things for them and hope that they like you more for them- but you shouldn't thrive to make a girl like you. There are plenty of girls out there that will like you for who you are. Here is a list of things you can do to make a girl smile, that I found:

-Tell her she is beautiful (not fine, or sexy)
-Hold her hand at any moment . . . even if its just for a second.
-Kiss her on the forehead.
-Leave her voice messages to wake up to.
-When she is upset, hold her tight and tell her how much she means to you.
-Recognize the small things . . . they usually mean the most.
-Pick her over all the other girls you hang out with.
-Write her notes. (she loves them)
-Introduce her to family and friends . . . as your girlfriend.
-Play with her hair.
-Pick her up, tickle her, and play-wrestle with her.
-Sit in the park and just talk to her.
-Tell her funny jokes, tell her stupid jokes, or just tell her jokes.
-Let her fall asleep in your arms.
-If she's mad at you, kiss her.
-Give her piggyback rides.
-Bring her flowers
-Treat her the same around your friends as you do when your alone.
-Look her in the eyes and smile.
-Let her take as many pictures of you as she wants.
-Kiss her in the rain.
-If your in love with her, tell her.

If you really want to win a girl over- you need to be confident and always smiling. A shy and timid guy, while somewhat attractive to some girls, will not attract the girls you're looking for. A girl also likes to see success in a guy. She probably won't be attracted to you if you're off smoking pot or drinking alcohol. She will like if you're clean and as successful as you can be at your age.
