Hi,I am 13 and I really need some help.
All of my friends have matured, and....they...look...drop...dead...gorgeuos.
But, then there is me, I have matured also(I have hips.I HATE them!) But that is the only place I have matured. I do not want to have a chest I just want to be tall (I am only 4'11)
and to have cheekbones.I am more of a round girl, and all the time I try to lose weight, I do but thenit never is the amount I want,and it comes back on. I just want to be the size that I was back in grade 6.
alright sorry for such a long introduction but, I think my real question is is it natural for in 1 year to go up 3 sizes in pants? Or ,4 depending on the pant.
My friends are all so nice like they gain weight but, not as much as I did.
I have cut back on my food but, that is not helping.
I also work out so much it kills,Do you know why this is happening to me?(Sorry that is 3 questions)

heeeeeyyy...before i say anymore you should know that beauti is not just on the outside, its on the inside 1st.
your 13 you still have alot of growing to do trust me i went through it. im 19 and when i was 13 i thought i was sooo ugly. i was bullied at school because i was chubby etc etc and a few years later i grew and matured etc.. i mean im small up the top and huge down the bottom and once your older its seen as a beautiful thing. You will grow to love yourself just have faith that you are beautiful.
with your weight problem are you eating healthy? For me i had a problem with my thyroid its located on your neck. its a gland that sends out hormones to the body. if its working too hard then this can trigger you gaining weight but if its not working hard enough then it can make you loose weight... for me i had a lump on it that was also affecting my beathing. take a look in the mirror and check if theres a lump on your throat. like when you touch your neck have a feel around.
you can even go to the doctor and ask for a blood test to check if your thyroid is working properly...its a theory it might just be puberty too. these are all theories please dont think that theres anything wrong with you because it could be just your body growing

Please please pleaseee do not feel pressured you need to have sex with this boy to please him. your only 14 and from the sounds of what youve said i can tell your not ready either!if a boy isnt going to wait for you and respects the fact that you dont want to have sex then he wasnt worth it to start off with.
sex can make your life change..i mean imagine if you got pregnant what will you do?do you think hell hang around? do you think your parents would approve? please atleast wait a few years before considering sex. atleast when your older youll know if hes the right guy to have sex with or not because in those few years of saving yourself for mr right you would of learnt alot more than you do now about sex and its outcome and possibilities..please dont, sex is soemthing special once youv lost it you cant get it back

Hi I'm from the UK.
I have a 9 year old daughter who is very distressed and upset and i'm hoping you can help me help her!!
I moved away from her dad in 1999 (before she was born) due to domestic violence and gained an interdict to stop him coming near us. Since we weren't safe in the area we lived in after my split with him i moved to Edinburgh in 2002 and have been safe and living life normally ever since, that is until May last year when he managed to locate us.
Within a week we had to be placed in a Womans Aid refuge for our safety and he believes we live down in London now.
Ever since though he set up websites in search of us using videos and information from my daughters health problems to try and locate us. Now the first two websites we managed to get taken down as it pertained to a minors safety but the 3rd (which my daughter stumbled on last night) has only been up for a couple of days.
I've spoken to the police who confirmed this is a source of harassment yet won't do anything about it as its online. My solicitor reakons since he doesnt know where our new address is we should simply ignore it but its easier said than done!!
He is definately abusing my daughters right to safety and privacy. He has invaded both me and my daughters privacy by making this site and has caused us great annoyance and anxiety. The very fact he used her name as his web address shows he is abusing her right to privacy. If it was more about him it should have been called JohnMackie.co.uk not http://www.Shannoncassidy.co.uk
My daughter deserves the right to live life normally and safely - she does NOT deserve her privacy violated in such a manner and certainly not be hounded by him. Please for the safety of my daughter help me get him stopped for good!!
I need help! This is affecting my daughter greatly!! She has only JUST started relaxing after the last spate of websites and now shes back to sitting in her room crying - She doesn't understand why someone would ignore her requests to take it down and leave her alone as she wants nothing to do with him at the moment.

how dare he put this website on the internet!!!no wonder your soo distressed! I mean he did this to himself, he abused you so its not like your going to go back to your enemy and say "oh look we have a child together". I mean you went through so much and so did your son and daughter why would you want that horrible man back.
well i think you should go to court and fight for full custody. i mean if you have an interdict due to domestic violence then that should help in your side to win the courts over.
Either way i think you need the courts involved with custody because hes not going to leave you alone..this is his daughter and like any parent he wants to know his daughter regardless of the way he treated you.

just wanted to thank you personnaly, i found a way to get her number through the next day and then we went clubbing in town in the evening. then all her freinds had to go and then mine had to go but were too busy having fun to leave.
we talked in a club for a while then we started getting closer and it just happend, we made out for a while untill the club closed in the early hours of the morning which was when we wnt back to my place and talked through the night till the morning were mum found us both asleep hugging eachother on the sofa.
she stayed the day after were we both found out how much we had in common and how she actually had a crush on me the minute she saw me as it was for me about her. we fell asleep togther again that afternoon listening to her favourite jazz track's which must have repeated through and through till she had to go home.
i havent had a girlfriend in 6 years and that was the best time of my life, thank you for helping me its nice to know that even complete strangers out there care so much about helping people.

So throughout the past couple months my hair has gotten real greasy on the back crown of my head, I was using herbal essences and switched to a pantene shampoo build up remover, it worked for a little bit and now its back again and I dont know what I should do or use. Should I try using herball essances again and alternate shampoos every other day or go to Suave. I just don't want it to get all over my head and look lke a huge grease ball. Thanks (link)

do you use conditioner?maybe try using the shampoo only then use conditioner like once a month.go back to herbal essances its waay better than pantene, or dove is a really good shampoo too

make the student feel valued and feel good at the work hes doing. always encourage the students and never put them down. the school can hold a day where students can show their talents to the rest of their peers like stage performances etc

you could write about how a girl gets blammed for the death of her brother. so like this girl is looking after her brother and he runs out on the road and gets hit by a car or something then the parents spend their life blaming the girl and making her do the chores and treat her badly but oneday she meets this lady and looks after the lady until she dies and leaves her with the house and money

I'll be staying at my boyfriend's house from Friday night to Monday morning and I haven't seen him in a few weeks thanks to college. This is our first reunion and the last time we'll get to hang out before he goes to college in mid-September. It's also close to our 7 month anniversary so I want to plan a really extra special weekend and have it be really romantic and memorable.
We like adventure, food, movies, we are sexually active and we're up for anything.
I really want to remember this weekend because I rarely get to spend the night and this weekend my mom is letting me stay over for 3 nights (long story).

I recently found out that my current roommate, who is one of my best friends, is a pathological liar. Basically, she has been manipulating me for the past year, causing me to feel responsible for an attempted suicide (which never happened) because I didn't pick up the phone when i needed to talk. She also told me things about my friends that has definitely altered my relationships with them and the way i see them, that her mother was dying (she actually let me believe she was dead on multiple occasions), and made up a sexual assault, just to name a few of the lies. She is currently getting the help from psychologists and therapists that she needs, but i'm still trying to sort out my life. In order to do that, i began confiding in a close friend about the situation, but the stories are so far-fetched that i don't think he believes ME. It understandably seems strange to him that I wouldn't have picked up on any of this throughout the course of the year, and many of the other stories I told him are crazier than the ones above. What can i do to prove to him that I'm being honest? (link)

So my cousin is devastated because her fiance broke up with her after almost 4 years together...
I know that I can't really help her the way she wants me too and I know she will get through this but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of things she can do that will help her feel better even for a moment? Like when I was heart broken I started coming on here and giving advice because it took my mind off of my problems (I already sugested it...she shot it down) I also liked to read quotes and listen to songs that described how I was feeling (I don't know why but it made me feel better)
tell me stories about what you did to make yourself happy when you were heartbroken so I can get some ideas to help her.

hahah you and me are so alike!i came here after i got heartbroken too and listen to music etc etc..
well things that helped me is also taking up a boxing class. it was reallly good to get all the anger out.
she can go for a run and let off all that steam
she can read books or go clubbing, dancing is good.
she can write how she feels on a peice of paper and rip it all up..that truly does help!
ummm what else..being around friends all the time helps, maybe you two can watch some dvds and eat ice cream together
most importantly she needs you there for her and not to talk about her fiance or how shes feeling but to make her laugh and have abit of fun so shes not thinking about him.
she can also go to the beach and sit there watching the waves, its calming
she can get herself alittle kitten or puppy which will give her something else to love :]

Hey, im a 15 year old girl, and i made a mistake. I have been dating my boyfriend for 2 years. I finally agreed to have sex with him. I got my period august 19th, and stopped bleeding on the 26th. On the 27th, i had sex with him. We used a condom, and i dont think it broke, but it is possible, and i know its really early, but ive felt weird. if you wanted to get an abortion youll need someones consent over the age of 18 not too sure about the laws in new york so just double check. i know there are helplines that are confidential that you can call and ask for advice..go to your clinic and look at the pamflets.
pregnancy tests can be taken up to 5 days before a missed period or 2 days after conception (after the egg has been fertilized) goodluck im here for you if you have any more questions

ohh guys are like that. they always say theyr not virgins just to act cool because its the "in" these days..i mean if hes been with you for such a long time and hasnt had sex with you yet, i think thats the most rea; proof anyone can have. he is a virgin and i think if you keep asking him he might think you want him to say hes not, it could start an arguement. just trust him. if hes never lied to you then i doubt hed lie to you about this. you say that it doesn matter if he is or isnt a virgin then you should accept his answer and not over think it. you just like me i over analyse wayy to much into things.just see it as it is.

In two days I will be 14 weeks pregnant. I get headaches/ migranes like a bus just hit me. tylenol doesnt help what so ever. My doctor gave me some kind of medicine that has helped i dont like taking any tylenol unless I have to. but its to the point i cant cook clean nothing. any advice on trying to prevent them or get rid of them in away that i dont have to use medication. I think that I unfairly judge others based on their GPA / class levels in high school. I'm a very competitive student in all honors and AP classes and I think, unintentionally, I base people's intelligence based on what classes they are taking (e.g., if another student is taking B-level classes, I assume they are lazy and that he or she doesn't care about school, college, or career success, or I greatly respect students taking many honors / AP classes). How do I STOP judging people based on their GPA / class levels and realize that not all students in honors / AP classes are necessarily intelligent and that not all B-level students don't care about getting into a top university?

ok so im not the smartest girl on this planet and people do look down on me because im not the smartest spark in maths or some subjects and i know it. i know they look at me differently and never ask me about assignments because they just assume i wont know or assume i havent been listening but you need to understand that i try just as hard as those who are really gifted in those subjects. i could study till my eyes bleed but i would still be an average student. some people were just not made for some subjects but this doesnt mean that we re uncapable it just means that we re A+ students in another catagory could be arts or Biology or something else. it just makes our lives alot harder when we re being looked down on even if you think we dont know, we really really do and sometimes it makes us cry at night to know that we re being judged...hope this helps you stop judging i know you cant help it and that your a nice person but put yourself in their position:)
