Though Midol is a good thought, DO NOT TAKE IT.
You are pregnant, and VERY limited on what you can safely take. Stick to Tylenol, or what ever your doctor may prescribe.
As for the headaches, I got them during both of my pregnancies, and I hate taking medicine, too.
When they would come on, I'd lay down in a dark room, or cover my eyes with a towel, or something. Then I'd lay still until I would fall asleep. 9 times out of 10, I'd sleep it off.
Sometimes standing in the shower with water as hot as I could stand beating down on my neck would help, or I'd tilt my head back so the top of my head would be in the water stream. This is best if the room is dark, too. Light aggravates a migraine, as I'm quite sure you are perfectly aware.
Sometimes you can't fall asleep, and sometimes the hot water only makes the pain go away for a short period of time, but I'd try the shower, followed by trying a nap before I'd take meds.
Heck, I still do it that way.
Sometimes you got to take the Tylenol, though. There is no point in suffering like that, really.

When you get a headache or migrane, hurry and get a damp wash cloth (warm or cold is your preference) and place it over your forehead, and sometimes it helps to place one around your neck as well. I know you do not like taking medication, but just to add, Midol works wondefully for headaches and migranes and I think it could really help you, however, the wash cloths will help you without taking the medication to. Your choice. =) ]
try putting a cold tea towel on you head and have a lie down or wrap a bandana around you head tightly that helped my mum when she had really sore head ]
