i had sex last night and we agreed that he would pull out, but i dont know if he actually did. i was wondering if you would be able to feel it? he wasnt wearing a condom, and im scared that he may not have pulled out. thank you. (link)
|
You would probably be able to feel it but there's still a chance you didn't.
You need to know pulling out is NOT a safe method of birthcontrol. If you don't want to use condoms then at least go onto the pill.
He could ejaculate a little bit (precum) without either of you even realising it and that's all it takes to get you pregnant.
I'd get a test or a morning after pill, to be sure.

I found a great pair of skinny jeans on the Urban Outfitters website, but they have weird siezes like 25, 26, etc. All of my jeans are either a 2 or 3, so what size am I in that weird size? How do I measure it? (link)
|
That's your waist size in inches.
To measure your waist, bend over to the side and where your waist creases, that's where you should be measuring.
If you have a 25'' waist, then you might have to get a 26'', especially cause skinny jeans usually run small for a much tighter effect. Try going to the store to try on a different pair (if they don't have the ones you want in the store) just to be certain of your size and/or check the size chart on the website.

A refined person is a well-bred person with good manners. Elegant, classy people.

Im getting braces in like a month and I pretty much dont know anything about them. like how many different kinds are there and colors and what you do to take of them??- (link)
|
I have braces right now. I have the clear kind.
You can still see them but I feel alot more comfortable knowing they're less visible. Although they cost me $300 extra.
The first time you get them on, there's a chance it's going to hurt a little. Especially when biting into hard stuff but it's discomfort more than pain.
You'll get them tightened every few weeks (depending on your treatment and orthodontist) and after tightening they feel a little tender and uncomfortable and you might feel some pain again when biting into hard stuff but it's not an unbearable pain and it wears off a few days after having them tightened.
Your orthodontist will probably give you a starter pack, like someone already mentioned. If they don't give you dental wax, ask them for some. The wires on your braces may rub the inside of your mouth and cause cuts and ulcers, the wax is to put over the brackets that are rubbing against the inside of your mouth to stop them from hurting.
They'll tell you all this when you get them done but don't chew gum or eat chewy sweets. I thought I'd be clever and eat chewy stuff anyway and I've had to have 3 brackets replaced. It's normal for a bracket to unstick sometimes but eating gum and chewy stuff will just make more of them come off, therefore keeping your braces on for longer.
Good luck with 'em :)

is it unnatractive to guys if girls dont shave "down there"? i dont normally shave it all because it comes back all scratchy and it bothers me alot. i usually just cut most of it (link)
|
Some guys do find it unattractive if you have alot of hair down there but if it's groomed as in it's neat and trimmed I don't think most guys will care.
They might find no hair attractive but it doesn't neccesarily mean they find a little hair unattractive
To be honest, I think most guys are just happy they're getting some haha.

Is it true that wearing a wired bra to bed stops your boobs from growing as much, and wearing a sports bra makes them have room to grow? (link)
|
No it is not.
I've worn a wire bra to bed ever since I started wearing wire bras and my boobs have grown into a C cup just fine.

umm i havent gotten my period for two months already. is that normal. i havent had any intercourse so i cant be pregnat. what wrong?
(link)
|
If you only got your first period in the last few months, it's normal.
My period took 3 years to regulate itself. The majority of girls have irregular periods for a few years after their first period.
It could also be due to a change in your body. Maybe if you've lost or put on some weight, that can make it a bit irregular for a while or if you're stressed out it can stop it.
Make sure you're eating right too.
If you're worried about it, go see a doctor. But my guess is it's just irregular.

Ok, I'm not sure if this is the right catogory but it seemed good. So, I do hate my weight and want to be skinny, but I don't think I am aneroxic. People have called me that before but because I hate eating a lot, and 3 meals a day is a lot to me. I usually eat an egg for breakfast, nothing or an apple for lunch and a regular dinner. Is that bad? I don't want to eat just to please ppl but I don't know how to tell them that I just don't like much food. What can I say to them? (link)
|
Don't say anything to them! It's none of their business, unless they're saying it in a concerned way. If they're worried about you, you should explain it to them. If they're just saying it to wind you up and to pick on you, then tell them to mind their own business.
But the fact that you say you hate your body and you don't like food, is worrying to be honest.
I've been through a horrible eating disorder stage in my life and I started by saying ''Oh, it's nothing I just don't like eating alot'' but I was in denial, I was lying to myself.
Just be careful babe, having an eating disorder is a horrible, horrible expirience and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
If you honestly don't enjoy eating alot, then you don't have to but you need to eat a little bit more. For a start, I think you need to eat something other than an egg in the morning. Breakfast is what's going to keep you going throughout the day and if you're worried about the calories, breakfast is usually burned off throughout the day without you even having to work out.
I'd also have something a little more than an apple for lunch. Have a sandwich or a salad. You can have something small that's still nutricious and low in fat.
If you think starving yourself is going to make you like your body, you couldn't be further from the truth. It's not the answer and it won't work.
Eat properly and excercize. I know it sounds like bollocks and people think it won't work (God knows I thought that when I went through my stage and I ignored that ''eat healthily'' advice) but it DOES work if you keep at it and do it right. I did it and I went from 140lbs to 117lbs in a matter of months.
If you need anymore advice, I'm here.

How should I tell my mom about me having vaginal discharge. Im 13 and of course a female. I know she wont do nothing it's just I'm embarassed (link)
|
You don't need to tell her! It's nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. I discharge quite alot and I hate it but I didn't tell my mum cause there's nothing she can really do about it.
If you need pantyliners just ask her to get you some, you don't need to be specific if you don't want to be. But if you do tell her, don't be embarrassed. She's your mum and she's also a woman, she'll understand.

Ok so I'm usually a fairly polite kid to adults (exceopt my parents but w/e) Ne way, my b/f and I have been together for about a year but his mom hates me. She often says harsh things hidden under sweet comments and I know my b/f hears her but never stands up for me. I always want to rebel and say something back but I'm not sure. Is it better to take it and show her I'm a good person? Or talk back and show her I can defend myself? Please help. (link)
|
Talk back but don't stoop to her level.
Don't raise your voice at her because in the end, it'll bring her satisfaction to say you're rude and have no respect for your elders.
If anything, talk back in a sarcastic but nice way. Give her a sweet smile while you're answering back, it'll drive her crazy.

Well I shave down there, but it doesn't work that well cause it still feels prickly. And I think it would bother a guy if he fingered a girl who felt like that. So how do I shave so that it doesn't feel like this? (link)
|
It feels prickly straight after you've finished shaving? As in, there's still hair there?
In that case, you just have to go over the area again. Pubic hair is quite rough so it takes a few going over before it gets smooth. I have to go over it once or twice again before it's completely smooth.
If you're talking about the bumps some people get a while after shaving, those are ingrown hairs or just razor burn. No, they're not very attractive but your skin will get used to shaving. If it doesn't, I've heard tea tree oil helps shaving bumps but I've never tried it myself.
Moisturize down there after shaving to prevent the bumps and don't dry shave, use some kind of shaving foam or lotion.
All in all, I'd recommend waxing. It lasts longer (up to six weeks) and you don't get the shaving bumps. It hurts like hell but it's worth it.

Before I was a virgin it hurt to use tampons after a while. I had heard that after you have sex, it dosen't hurt to use them anymore. Is this true?
Thanks. :) (link)
|
Tampons shouldn't hurt whether you're a virgin or not. I'm a virgin and I use them and they don't hurt at all.
Chances are they're hurting because you're not relaxed enough (ie. you're nervous about using them) or you're doing it wrong. It took me loads of tries to get it right but you've just gotta keep trying.
Make sure you don't use something like the jumbo tampons if you're a virgin and it's your first time trying them, try the normal ones.

yes i know weight loss pills dont work unless you eat right and excerise, well I am doing that but I am not seeing the results I want. So what is the best diet pill for me to start taking? (link)
|
I know this isn't what you want to hear but I'm gonna say it anyway.
Diet pills suck. They're not going to work for everyone, they're dangerous and if they do work when you stop taking them you're just going to put weight back on.
The majority of those pills contain so much caffeine, it's insane. Some of them have the same amount of caffeine in them as 7 cups of coffee. Which is what makes them dangerous. Mood swings, heart palpitations, feeling weak...
All of these are pretty common secondary effects to diet pills ESPECIALLY in young girls who haven't finished growing yet.
If you want to lose weight, work hard and do it the right way. If I did it, you can tooo! :)

i need to lose 15 pounds before july is that possible? and if it is ill do anyyyyyyything to get it, healthy or not..preferably healthy but ill do whattttever so any ideas? (link)
|
It's possible but you're going to have to work your butt off.
For a start, I don't think you should do it the unhealthy way (ie. starving yourself) trust me I've been there and you get obsessed with it, it messes with your head and you end up worse off than you started.
First things first, cut out soda completely. Even diet ones. Stick to water, fruit juice or green tea (but natural fruit juice, no stuff that comes in cartons and has 3 tonnes of sugar added to it).
What works for most people is spreading their meals throught the day. Instead of having 3 big meals a day, split it into 5 smaller meals everyday. That way your body is never hungry and your metabolism is kept going all day.
Fruit and veg is an obvious tip and lots of it, it's good for you, it's filling and it can be used many ways.
Switch from white bread & pasta to whole-wheat. It fills you up quicker and for longer and is much healthier.
For meat, I'd cut back on red meat. No need to cut it out of your diet completely but if you eat alot of it cut back a bit and go for leaner meats (ie. chicken breast, turkey..). If you're a vegetarian (like me), forget I said that haha.
As for excersize, do lots of cardio (running, bike, elliptical, dancing, rope jumping, etc..) as it's what burns fat and possibly do some crunches too. Don't start doing loads of crunches if you have a bit of a belly because it's just gonna build muscle under fat and it's gonna be harder to shift the fat. Start with 3 reps of 10 regular crunches then 3 reps of 10 side crunches on each side (side crunches are exactly the same as regular crunches only both your legs rest to one side).
If you can, I'd join a gym. Not only can you ask for professional advice there, I find it much easier to get and stay motivated while I'm at the gym and trust me, I'm the laziest person ever.
Try working out for at least an hour a day, 5 or 6 days a week (give yourself at least one day a week to rest).
This is what I did and I went from 140lbs to 117lbs in about 4 months but I can only give you advice on what I know worked for me, which is why I recommend joining a gym and getting professional advice if you want to be 100% sure you're going to get results.
Good luck babe! :)

I go to the gym 5 times a week, i get on the eliptical for 45 mins then the stairmaster for 10 mins. What other excersises can I do to tone up my tummy area? (link)
|
You need to do some kind of ab workout. Crunches are your best bet.
I've been advised, by a lady that works at my gym to do 3 reps of 15 normal crunches a day followed by 3 reps of 15 side crunches on each side.
Side crunches are exactly the same only you rest your legs to one side, this works your love handles.
I'd advise starting with that 3 reps of 15 each. And as you get used to it, start upping the number you do untill you're happy.

15/f I want my arm hair removed, but I don't want to shave it off, because I heard it comes back thicker and darker and faster, and I also hear these stories about people who have shaved their arms really regret it. Since waxing your legs after a while, it doesn't really grow back would the same technique happen to your arms? I've tried bleaching and stuff and its not like I have a lot of arm hair its just long pieces of it, I even tried trimming my arm hair lol.
So my question is has anyone had their arm hair waxed and how did it work, cause I really want to wax it, but I don't want to regret waxing it. (ps. I'm talking about arm hair not arm pit hair)
thanks so much!! (link)
|
To be honest I wouldn't advise it. Everyone I know that's done it has regretted it. And having stubble on your arms when it's growing back does not feel good.
Either way, if it's really bothering you you can get laser hair removal. Which will remove it permenantly.
If it's just the length of it that bothers you, you could keep trimming it.
I just really wouldn't advise waxing or shaving. For one waxing would be painful on your arms, I should imagine and like you've said shaving does make it come back darker sometimes.
