My period took 3 years to regulate itself. The majority of girls have irregular periods for a few years after their first period.
It could also be due to a change in your body. Maybe if you've lost or put on some weight, that can make it a bit irregular for a while or if you're stressed out it can stop it.
Make sure you're eating right too.
If you're worried about it, go see a doctor. But my guess is it's just irregular.
