Curling hair.

Question Posted Thursday April 5 2007, 3:47 pm

Okay, I have long naturally straight hair and I really want to curl it but nothing seems to come out right
I've tried using curling tongs, plaiting it for waviness, scrunching it with mousse when it's wet .. but none of it really looks good.

The best one was the curling tongs but it takes so long, it's bad for my hair and at the end of it to be honest, my hair looks a bit messy.

Has anyone got any tips on how to curl it?

Hey. I agree with the person below, try a curling iron. But, if you're going to use a curling iron, you will want to use spray-gel, or... hairspray. But, hairsprays really bad for the enviornment and stuff, so try the gel. If you have more questions, ask me :]

Well, you could get a perm, but yah i know its expensive and then your hair wont go straight again. So try using a curling iron when your hair is dry.

I've got the same problem as this.
What I do, is either take my shower at night, and put my hair up in a very sloppy bun while it's still wet. When I wake up, it's nice and curly.
Or, if you take your showers in the morning, you can put the bun in right after your shower, dry your hair (with the bun still in). Take the bun out, and dry the remaining we hair. It will most likely be less of a curl, but it's neater looking in my opinion. Less frizzy. =P

FYI-You can also vary how much of your hair is curled. The higher the bun, the higher the curl starts, and vice versa.

This really works for me. =)

The way I do my hair..
[its straight and log [and blonde ^.^]]

I put it into lots of mini balerina buns when its wet.
basically::
coup your hair into a ponytail with a bobble and then wrap the hair around and secure with another scrunchie when its still wet.

then when your hair is dry, you take them all out and you have really curly hair!
and i mean REALLY CURLY!

Hope I helped (:
Mail me if you've any questions, okay?
:)
