Ok, I'm not sure if this is the right catogory but it seemed good. So, I do hate my weight and want to be skinny, but I don't think I am aneroxic. People have called me that before but because I hate eating a lot, and 3 meals a day is a lot to me. I usually eat an egg for breakfast, nothing or an apple for lunch and a regular dinner. Is that bad? I don't want to eat just to please ppl but I don't know how to tell them that I just don't like much food. What can I say to them?
Additional info, added Thursday April 5 2007, 3:38 am: I'm very average for my age and height. I weigh about 126, am about 5'5", and 14. It's none of their business, unless they're saying it in a concerned way. If they're worried about you, you should explain it to them. If they're just saying it to wind you up and to pick on you, then tell them to mind their own business.
But the fact that you say you hate your body and you don't like food, is worrying to be honest.
I've been through a horrible eating disorder stage in my life and I started by saying ''Oh, it's nothing I just don't like eating alot'' but I was in denial, I was lying to myself.
Just be careful babe, having an eating disorder is a horrible, horrible expirience and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
If you honestly don't enjoy eating alot, then you don't have to but you need to eat a little bit more. For a start, I think you need to eat something other than an egg in the morning. Breakfast is what's going to keep you going throughout the day and if you're worried about the calories, breakfast is usually burned off throughout the day without you even having to work out.
I'd also have something a little more than an apple for lunch. Have a sandwich or a salad. You can have something small that's still nutricious and low in fat.
If you think starving yourself is going to make you like your body, you couldn't be further from the truth. It's not the answer and it won't work.
Eat properly and excercize. I know it sounds like bollocks and people think it won't work (God knows I thought that when I went through my stage and I ignored that ''eat healthily'' advice) but it DOES work if you keep at it and do it right. I did it and I went from 140lbs to 117lbs in a matter of months.

There's nothing wrong with that. Your diet isn't that bad either.
My only concern would be that you may not be getting enough nutrition for your body to develop properly especially if you are physically active. Your diet is perfectly reasonable for an adult. Most adults don't eat breakfast, have a light lunch, and a normal dinner. The problem here is that teens need to eat more than adults because their bodies are still growing and developing. If you don't get the nutrition that you need you may not be all that healthy later in life. Since you are at the correct weight for your height and age though, it seems like everything is okay. Even though things seem okay, just make sure that they are. I would suggest bringing this up with your doctor the next time you visit. It's not an emergency and you don't have to schedule an appointment as soon as you can, just mention it when you go in for your yearly physical. If you don't get a yearly physical start. That's very important. Lastly, don't worry about your friends. In middle school, every skinny girl is accused at some point of being anorexic. I was accused of it constantly and I ate a ton of food all the time. Your peers just aren't smart enough to realize that you can be skinny and not be anorexic. They'll learn eventually. For now just brush it off. Good luck! [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]

you will also find (i know this isn't what you want to hear but it's true) that curvy or healthy is much more attractive than skinny. how much bad press do stars like nicole richie and lindsay lohan get for being too thin? i have never met a guy who called a regular sized girl too fat either.
my friends who are anorexic, they are both always tired, worrying, and look unhealthy. they get annoyed at the slightest thing, and everyone is afraid to eat in front of them because we feel guilty. please, start eating healthily again. just eat three meals of healthy food a day and you won't gain weight!

Your eating habits are dangerous, and you're probably really skinny. As weird as 3 meals might be, that's the recommended amount of meals you should eat to be healthy. Try eating some junk food so you can gain a bit of weight. I'm not sure how tall you are, how much you weigh & how old you are, but I know you're not very healthy.
