Yes it is possible, but not if you starve yourself. Starving yourself kicks your body into famine mode and it will store MORE fat because it doesn't know when your next meal is coming.
I've lost 30lbs since January, and I have just been eating fresh fruit and veggies, drinking lots of water and exercising for an hour 5-6 times a week. Swimming is great, cardio (such as running and cycling) are great for weightloss but if you want to tone as well I would try yoga/pilates, and weight training.

It's possible, but no shortcuts, laziness, or cheating.

Eat healthy, don't follow a diet. No pre-made food or frozen shit, make sure it's all whole fresh foods. And cardio. An hour to two hours a day will definitly get you results. Drink alot of water too.

If you have a pool nearby, swimming every day will work wonders on your body.

you could probably manage it if you work hard enough at it. do lots of cardio. go to the gym if it helps. start playing a sport you like so you'll have fun working out. dont eat alot of junkfood when you get hungry after exercising. cut down on junk food in general. good luck =]

It's possible but you're going to have to work your butt off.
For a start, I don't think you should do it the unhealthy way (ie. starving yourself) trust me I've been there and you get obsessed with it, it messes with your head and you end up worse off than you started.

First things first, cut out soda completely. Even diet ones. Stick to water, fruit juice or green tea (but natural fruit juice, no stuff that comes in cartons and has 3 tonnes of sugar added to it).

What works for most people is spreading their meals throught the day. Instead of having 3 big meals a day, split it into 5 smaller meals everyday. That way your body is never hungry and your metabolism is kept going all day.
Fruit and veg is an obvious tip and lots of it, it's good for you, it's filling and it can be used many ways.

Switch from white bread & pasta to whole-wheat. It fills you up quicker and for longer and is much healthier.
For meat, I'd cut back on red meat. No need to cut it out of your diet completely but if you eat alot of it cut back a bit and go for leaner meats (ie. chicken breast, turkey..). If you're a vegetarian (like me), forget I said that haha.

As for excersize, do lots of cardio (running, bike, elliptical, dancing, rope jumping, etc..) as it's what burns fat and possibly do some crunches too. Don't start doing loads of crunches if you have a bit of a belly because it's just gonna build muscle under fat and it's gonna be harder to shift the fat. Start with 3 reps of 10 regular crunches then 3 reps of 10 side crunches on each side (side crunches are exactly the same as regular crunches only both your legs rest to one side).
If you can, I'd join a gym. Not only can you ask for professional advice there, I find it much easier to get and stay motivated while I'm at the gym and trust me, I'm the laziest person ever.
Try working out for at least an hour a day, 5 or 6 days a week (give yourself at least one day a week to rest).

This is what I did and I went from 140lbs to 117lbs in about 4 months but I can only give you advice on what I know worked for me, which is why I recommend joining a gym and getting professional advice if you want to be 100% sure you're going to get results.

Good luck babe! :)
