Sort of fair to medium skin color
I'm going to FL for spring break and have some questions about getting a great tan.
-- Does tanning oil work?
-- I heard that when you shave your legs, you shave off the tan ;; is that true?
-- If so what is an alternative that will keep your tan?
-- What is the best way to get an GREAT tan that will just wow people when you come back?
-- Where do you get those heart and star stickers for your stomach for when you tan?

I live in Florida! Tanning oil works, of course. You don't necessarily "shave off" or "shower off" the tan, but you kind of have to build up multiple tans to get it to stay. The best way to get a great tan is to just spend alot of time outside, in the water, or laying out. Mix a few drops of iodine in baby oil to get a really dark tan. The heart and star stickers are mainly found in tanning salons, but you can buy them if you're in a more touristy part of FL.

tannings oils work great (usually the more expensive the better it is, make sure its for outdoor tanning)
the less you shower and the more lotion you use the better you will keep your tanning
you don't shave off your tan but as you bathe you do lose your tan from washing away dead skin because most tanning oils have bronzers that only color your skin (almost like a self tanner in them which gives you the best effect)
you get the best tan in the early afternoon (usually from like 12-3)
i get my heart stickers at my tanning salon.. I am sure you can find ones similar to them at craft stores (thats all they really are are those kind of stickers)
or you can just go to a tanning salon and see if they will sell you a few

ok first of all tanning oil works great ! if you get burned easy then you are going to get fried though =P
no you cant shave off a tan =P even if you could its not like you could stop shaving your legs.....haha but dont worry you cant shave it off
to keep your tan just stay out in the sun. Tans fade when you don't recieve enough sun so once you have a tan stay out in the sun girl !
the best way to get a tan is to lay out on the beach...yup....but if your skin is some what fair you should try to get a base tan first....dont just go out in the sun really pale LoL
your last question is about stickers and you can get them from most tanning salons ( few would not have them )

- tanning oil only works for some people, for those who can tan regurally outside.
-no, you can not shave off a tan. but it may look dryer since shaving your legs makes your legs look dry. So just put lotion on them.
-there is no best way to get a tan. A lot of people from my school, after they come back from vacation they go get a spray tan so its even and really tan.
- you get the stickers from tanning salons. That's probably the only place you can get them but you could maybe go to Target and get red stickers, any shape you'd like and they might work.
